It's not meant to be a full meal - more like a snack or a breakfast type - it's not very large. The pork is alright, but a little tough. It's not very juicy, as there are certain parts that feel leather-ish. It did grow on me as I kept eating though, and towards the end I started to like it more. The bread is actually quite good; crispy on the top and yet the hollowed-out inside stays fluffy. They have mustard and chili oil on a side table for you to add - and this is much needed. The moisture from these helps so much with the sandwich, and especially the mustard just adds that different flavor that prevents it from being just plain pork. Oh yeah, and it's super cheap - at just 3 euros. Overall, it's not amazing food, but for how cheap it is it gets the job done. 8/10

We had trouble ordering from the phone app (as it should be because it was in Portuguese only) so our waiter guided us. No IPA and no wine except moscatel. But this was a cerveseria with no IPA! So we tried two glasses of moscatel- not our favorite as it was much too sweet. We agreed to the garlic shrimp and lazy crab. I asked what it came with and he said nothing and pointed to the garlic bread. I asked about ordering veggies and he said there were none! The crab was fridge cold but would have been better warm. The shrimp could have been tasty if not so salty. It wouldn't have been such a culture shock but it was also very pricey for what is was. For those who haven't had one, the bifana is a staple of tender, simmered meat (usually visible somewhere in the restaurant) and placed between a fresh piece of bread. Traditionally just meat and sauce from the vat of simmering meat juices. This was close to the Rossio section of Lisbon, making it very convenient to various attractions. They also had other meat pies, codfish cakes and French fries. Staff were very friendly (and spoke English for those visiting) with a chill and casual vibe. Perfect for a quick lunch close to the square to sit and enjoy a lunch or light dinner.
