I'm writing this review because I'm genuinely concerned about my dog after his grooming…read moreappointment. During this appointment, he was shaved extremely short from head to toe. After I got him home, I noticed that his ear had also been cut during the grooming. Which I will share a photo of this. What concerns me most, however, is the change in his behavior since coming home. He is not himself at all. He has been constantly licking his paws, legs, body, and rear area. He seems uncomfortable sitting, doesn't want to walk around or play, isn't wagging his tail like he normally does, and keeps isolating himself in his bed. He also had very little interest in eating or drinking. As his owner, this is extremely upsetting because he cannot tell me whether he is hurting, burning, itching, or experiencing some other type of discomfort. I know my dog and I know his normal personality, and this is not his normal behavior. I did speak with the manager, and I want to acknowledge that she was helpful and worked with me regarding the grooming fees, which I appreciate. My concern at this point is much bigger than the cost. I'm concerned about my dog's well-being and what may have happened during the grooming process to cause such a dramatic change in his behavior. I hope PetSmart takes situations like this seriously and ensures that groomers are extremely careful with the animals entrusted to them. Our pets are family, and when they come home acting completely different and unable to tell us what hurts, it is heartbreaking and frightening.

I've always loved Pet Supplies Plus. I usually go to the Yorba Linda location, but overall their…read moreservice has been consistently great. They have a good selection of products and very attractive discounts. I especially enjoy washing my dog there. The shampoos they provide smell amazing, and they offer multiple options, which means I don't have to bring or purchase my own. The only downside for me is the time limitation at the self-wash stations. I have a French Bulldog, and because of their sensitive skin and tendency toward allergies, it's very important that they are completely dried after bathing. If their skin stays damp for too long, it can cause problems. Sometimes the time restriction makes it a bit challenging to properly dry my dog.

I walked into the grooming center and these two women looked at each other and then looked at me like what I was doing there... No greeting or anything. All they said was what's the pets name rudely as if I was a walk in and did not make an appointment which I did. We were 15 minutes early and she said we can wait until our appointment time. I had explained to her that I needed to goto work and if I could leave my dog. She abruptly said no, I'd need to wait because she was behind. I just left because I'm not dealing with a groomer who can't give me decent respect. What makes me think they will treat my dog in the same manner when I'm not there. Absolutely not. Luckily I needed to goto work or else I would have talked to a manger. Go somewhere else.
