Guy answered the phone half asleep and told me he'd be at the location in 15-20 mins which he took about 30 so not bad but then the surprise was the cost. After telling me a ridiculous price when the job was done he started to mention the time, which was 12:15am and that it cost to pick up the phone and come out to service me at his location after his ad said "24 hour" tire shop! Had he drove to me I would understand but I went to his advertised location and he still over charged me for a USED tire with no warranty. I'm so sorry I didn't just use my Roadside assistance which wouldn't have cost me anything to TOW MY CAR to a proper location and get brand new tire!!!!!!

I discovered that mobile tire install was even a thing via Tire Rack (which had good prices and made it easy to find a local installer). Then I checked Yelp and found Road Runner with their amazing reviews. Well deserved. Alex will order tires for you if you need. Or you can order them and have them shipped to your home. Or I ordered 4 tires online to get a great deal, and shipped them to Road Runner. Alex brought them and installed them in the parking garage of my apartment, while I worked upstairs. So I didn't have to miss half a day of work. I just paid for his time plus a tip (and worth every penny). I just wish I'd know about this all those times I had to limp on a flat tire to a tire shop, or get a tow. Only to have to choose in-stock tires at high prices, treated with rude service, made to wait. I'm telling everyone about Alex and Road Runner. He deserves to be a big success.

It was 4:30 and they were closing in an hour. Lisa asked if I could run over and I was right next door. Turns out there was a 1" nail in the tire. The car came back with the steering wheel off-center and the alignment incorrect. I brought it back for a second alignment. They never mentioned any issue with the alignment or that adjustable top hats were needed -- they simply called and said the car was ready and tracking straight. It wasn't. After raising the issue again, I was eventually told the car needed adjustable top hats to properly address the front camber. The third visit was to obtain the alignment sheets and understand what was actually going on. The specs were clearly off. This should have been identified and communicated from the beginning. There was time between visits because this is a specialty car I rarely drive, it's not my only vehicle, I travel frequently, and I wanted to rule out anything on my end. The shop seemed to hold that against me. After installing the top hats, I gave them an opportunity to make things right. Herb was defensive and combative and told me I would have to pay for another full alignment. I asked for a call from the owner or manager, but no one followed up. I eventually called back and spoke with Jared. He was more cordial and acknowledged they may have made a mistake, but ultimately took the same position and accepted no responsibility for the poor communication or inconvenience caused. This isn't about another $225. It's about accountability and standing behind the work you already performed. Mistakes happen. Refusing to own them is the problem. I would not recommend this shop, especially for specialty vehicles.
