The facility looks nicer on the inside than you might expect, except the restrooms, which show the true state of the building. There was one employee and no other customers when I arrived. That may reflect more on the town than the restaurant. The first real negative was that they did not have traditional soda. Not cans or bottles and not on tap. WTH??? They had pitchers of water or beer and some kind of sugarless something that I wasn't gonna bother trying. They did not sell pizza by the slice (presumably because business is too slow), so I had to order a full pie. The pizza was of a quality similar to dominos. So take that for what its worth. I would not personally want to eat there again based on that experience. If you had lots of kids to feed, its an option in a town with few options and there is seating for many families. But I can't think of a reason to want to go back there myself. read more

The location where Pete's Pizza is located has been 2 other separate pizza restaurants in the last five years. The first restaurant was called Hometown Pizza and the owners took pride in their restaurant and the community loved them. They ended up selling the business to another family and unfortunately, made too many changes (and were pretty rude) and lost the community support. The family that are the current owners, have totally revamped the restaurant and made it totally theirs. Instead of just a pizza restaurant, they have a large selection of salads, grinders, and finger foods such as chips and salsa, hot wings, and a hummus plate. This is a good thing since our tiny community has 3 pizza restaurants and they need to do something to set themselves apart. The flavor of the food is very good and we have never been disappointed when we have gone. (This week's it seems like a lot as today is our second time this week.) The restaurant also is well stocked in beers, ales, and other types of alcoholic beverages. They are currently serving 10 different varieties on tap. While I know that restaurants need to do what is necessary in order to bring in a profit, I haven't been to happy with this change. This location has always been family friendly but it feels like it is being turned into a bar or a pub. Alcohol may have been served previously, but now it is "In your face" with advertisements, and signs from the breweries hanging on the walls. Now on to the issues I have with the place. I found out today that you need to keep a close watch on your receipt. We ordered a grinder and added fries with it. Adding fries to our sandwich should have only been an additional $2.50. We were charged for the full amount for a basket of fries $4.50. We also ordered 12 hot wings. The menu said that for 12 wings it was $12.00. You could choose from Buffalo sauce, garlic parmesan, or barbecue sauce on your hot wings. Even though there is no mention of additional charges on the menu, I was charged an additional $1.00 for the Buffalo sauce. The people who man the front desk are not well trained on their register. They don't seem to know where items are on their register (the explanation as to why I was charged for a basket of fries instead of just an add on.) And they don't know how to correct the mistakes that are made. Even though the food is very good, it is also very inconsistent. The last several times we have chosen to eat there, I have ordered a salad for my meal. I really enjoy eating the Blue Moon and have ordered it several times. It is supposed to have chopped bacon and blue cheese crumbles on it served with an aged Basalmic Vinagarette. Last time I ordered it, there was no blue cheese crumbles on it and very little bacon. When I ordered it today, it had way too many red onion rings on it, and was loaded down with the blue cheese crumbles and bacon and had next to no dressing. I think there was more toppings than the salad itself. I have also ordered their Greek salad. It was supposed to have capers in it. I got a salad with no capers. The Pete's Grinder is a sandwich I like to order. It is supposed to come with pepperoncinis, I have only received them on the sandwich two times (and I order this all the time.) I ordered buffalo wings last time I went in, it was supposed to come with a blue cheese dipping sauce. I did not get any sauce on the side. The sandwiches are supposed to come with chips, I had to go ask for the chips. And they seem to be out of a lot of things. Today, they were out of the hot wings and the pepperoncinis. In the past I have gone in for sandwiches and they were out of the rolls. I will eat here again. Even though I never know what my meal will look like when I go in, I know that it will taste good. DO NOT EAT HERE!!!! You would be better off driving to Yakima than to eat at Pete's Pizza. Absolutely the worst pizza restaurant I have ever been to. The service was terrible. Unfriendly staff. I went to ask a question and everyone was out back smoking! There was no staff inside whatsoever. I thought the food was ok UNTIL I FOUND HAIR IN MY FOOD!!! When I went and finally found someone to show the hair in my pizza they simply said"ok, thanks". I thought for sure someone would come talk to me about it... but from then on the staff avoided me like the plague. If I could give the restaurant less than one star I would! read more

The service was great! The beer selection on tap was large and there is a cooler with a large assortment of cans and bottles that you can choose from. We had the hummus which was absolutely fabulous and tasty. The pizza is large for the sizes and plenty of toppings. You can ask for extra crispy crust if you want and they'll accommodate you. Friendly service and clean. Will definitely return to try more menu items. Substitutions and half and half pizza order was no problem. read more

Went to Pete's during 2019 Oregon Trail Rally. I tried 4 of their beers... I'm not an IPA or stout fan, they were out of lager and had no Pilsner, they had a wheat that tasted like creamy marshmallow... yuk!! So I drank lemonade and waited for over an hour and never got my salad and pizza. Left Pete's and will never go there again! read more

Do not eat here. Keep on driving. It looks really sketchy and IT IS! I'll be surprised if I don't get some disease from this place. I'm guessing the only people who go here are locals who just want to get drunk. No one in their right mind would go here twice, unless they're taking their cousin out on a date. No beverages. No fountain drinks. She thought we were crazy for not wanting alcohol. That's all they serve. The gal at the counter was beyond rude. I wiped off our table with two white disinfecting wipes that turned black- No joke! No soap in the bathroom. I'm guessing this place is just a front for a meth lab because no one would go there expecting food. A wall-sized calendar was made out for September dates....it was JUNE. My child and I looked at each other and said, "Let's go!" We didn't even wait for our pizza. Screw the money. This place felt like something out of Texas Chainsaw Massacre. I would not be surprised if the pizza toppings turn out to be human. My kiddo and I could not wait to take showers tonight to get clean from that place. read more

Don't know where to start.. Order a pizza 45 minutes later I finally got it. cold..There were kids in the back that looked like they made it. Maybe 12 years old. So... I wanted a Caesar salad, and pizza with enough left for tomorrow. My salad came and I travel a lot, so have seen a broad interpretation of a Caesar is. This one had bacon, olives, shredded cheese, dereeing that tasted like Ranch... and chicken!! I was tired, so eating, when the waitress came out with a Caesar for the guy that ordered the chicken bacon ranch salad! She left me the salad I ordered, and both of them were really, really good! (CBR was better than what I asked for actually) Then the pizza came; the Fats Domino! MASSIVE, and tasty as heck. I paired it with a lovely dark craft brew, and barely made it back to the hotel before the food coma took effect. This place is a lot more than meets the eye! Great pizza, Awesome variety of local microbrews. Friendly staff. Plenty of parking. I asked the waitress if they make their dough fresh and homemade and she told me yes. She actually added that the sauce is made from scratch as well. I'd definitely recommend this place to family and friends. Weirdest Experience Yet. Just the two of us showed up and there was only one person working there. She brought us our pizza then went outside to smoke in front of us. She made us get our own dishes and silverware- which were all dirty. There was absolutely no one else there. The pizza tasted fine though. read more

We have eaten here a couple of times now since it's become Petes. We have been impressed by the largeness of the large. At first the price may seem expensive, but the pizza is HEAVY with toppings and, like I said, very big. Our favorite is the meat lover, tons of meat.
