This place does snow plowing for a church, they plow snow up to neighbors fences, I have a vinyl fence they busted the gate on from pushing the snow up to it, I hung a sign after bringing it to their attention on what they did. They came back to plow a week later and we were outside to confront them to not push snow to the fence, they guy was extremely rude and said " you have me mistaken for someone who cares". read more

He provided the type of service you would see 50 years ago. A family member was driving through Spokane 200 miles from home and his driveline literally snapped the flange and fell off downtown. He stayed the night and on a Saturday morning took the pickup to a big name repair place to have it fixed where they told him that they were not able to fix it. We called Pete's garage and they informed me that they were backed up but if we take the driveline in that he might be able to fix it after looking at the damage. We took it in and he had a replacement for the broken piece. He was able to change all 3 u joints and replace the broken piece. Keep in mind this is all done on a Saturday! We were able to get the fixed driveline back in and back on the road. read more

I had a complicated part i needed modified. Pete's garage took it on and provided exceptional Service . The staff were polite and explained the entire process upfront. The part was modified and returned extremely quick to the exact tolerances requested . I highly recommend Pete's garage It gets harder every day to find skilled fabricators, designers, machinist that are mechanically inclined who have the proper tooling and skill set to use them. Pete's garage had Just the perfect mix which lead to an Awesome outcome . I cannot comment on Pete's mechanical prowess as I have never gotten past his rotten disposition. I see lots of vehicles outside the shop when I have driven by, so he must have a loyal clientele that doesn't mind the chip on his shoulder. I have honestly never felt so unwelcome in a business as I have coming to Pete's. When you arrive it is like he is annoyed you stepped through his door. Maybe he is blessed with mad mechanic skills and that keeps folks coming back. But there are so many other quality shops in this area that actually seem to want my business, I will never venture to find out. Considering all the negative reviews that are not recommended by Yelp's algorithm, I am clearly not the only one. Go anywhere else but Pete's if you want to be treated like a person. read more

Pete is incredibly rude, and very immature. His entire concept of customer service is how much can a customer feed his personal ego... His work, well I would never give him a piece of equipment to work on again! He had our vehicle for about 6 months, it required some pretty major work and we didn't necessarily need it right away, so we figured if we gave him plenty of time maybe he would do a great job, and give us a price break. Instead what we got back leaked all over the place, still had bad gaskets, nuts and bolts loose all over the place, and things that looked completely untouched, not to mention charged us a premium price that multiple sources said was ridiculous. Needed a warped exhaust/intake manifold planed. Pete's was the only place I found that could do it (recommendation for Pete was from a local machine shop). Pete did a great job, and the price was more than reasonable. He also put installed the manifold back on my car, and it was done the same day as promised. He took the time to go over the details of the installation, and even walked me through some items that may need future repair. One of my clients sent me here to pick up a vehicle. When I asked Pete about the vehicle, he immediately became very rude and insulting, saying that he did not know what I was talking about. It turns out, my client had his shop confused with another and they sent me here by mistake. Pete could have been a professional and kindly explained that he didn't have the car but instead, became very nasty and straight up vulgar. I do not recommend doing business with this ogre of a person. We all know ogres have layers but every layer of his is rotten to the core. I've never had someone make me feel so belittled over a small mix up. read more

What a rip off charged me double or triple And took two days to put 3U joints in !!! Would not recommend to anyone.

Its been about a month of my car being in this shop, and the only times any info has been given to me about my car possibly ever getting fixed hasn't been until we have called and asked when its been fixed. I've been told several times that it should have been done on such and such day, today being yet one more of these days and still no information. On top of that I found out that we are being charged an outrageous amount of money for a repair that may not be the fix my car needed (I will change the last part of this if I'm proven wrong). After a phone call today I have been told that my car was finally being out back together instead of ready to be picked up like I was promised once again, so I am pretty much done. My parents know Pete in person so aside from Pete himself being a good man, I don't have much good things to say about his business practice. read more
