No more red pasty sauce that stopped us from going there. We didn't need a reservation on a Tuesday night, there were only a handful of tables occupied at 6pm, which I didn't mind one bit. We only saw our actual server one time and it was when it took almost ten minutes to come by and take our order. The hostess was running her tail off doing the servers work... water, bringing out plates, to go boxes, clearing plates. Thinking back I wish I would have thought to tip her cash rather than leaving it on the cc receipt for the server. Regardless, hot, fresh food that we had come to love early on and pleased to be back to enjoy the dish I like so much!

We were very pleased to find this spot on a quick visit to Anchorage. It was a Sunday, so the dim…read moresum menu was available, from which we had the rice noodle roll with shrimp, and sticky rice in lotus leaf. Both were quite good, comparable to what we get in the San Francisco area. We also got the roast duck over rice from the regular menu, two types of egg custard tart, taro boba, and a berry smoothie. All of these were very good, with just a quibble that the rice under the duck was not very freshly cooked. We had not encountered the butter egg custard tart before, it was very good as was the traditional version. The staff was great too, attending to everything cheerfully while doing a very brisk business.
