The cafe was charming and was bustling! I ordered an iced vanilla latte and cortado at the counter and picked up a few pastries to go: blueberry scone, bacon and egg brioche bun, and a maple bun. Our coffees were great! My vanilla latte wasn't too sweet and I liked the taste of the espresso beans they used. As for the pastries, my favorite was the scone while my husband liked the brioche bun. My boyfriend had a bite of the Butter Rum with Sea Salt, and said it was yummy, but I'm not a Sea Salt kinda person so I took his word for it. The friendly ladies behind the counter were helpful and pointed out some of the local items. I appreciated them taking the extra step of carefully wrapping my glass jar of jam before placing it in the bag. I only grabbed a small amount of the items I'll need before making a care package and send it out, so you can be sure I'll be back!

The "Artichoke Dip" wasn't thick enough and the crostini its served with was quickly forgotten for the free bread. If you do order this appetizer, I do have to admit that I LOVED sopping up all the left over sauce with the free bread.
