On top of that, the office failed to follow through on an insurance appeal they said they would submit, repeatedly requested documents already provided, and did not respond to my insurance company resulting in a denial. Clear communication and follow-through are essential in healthcare, and that was lacking here.

The psychiatrist I saw was willing to listen to my mental problems and I think June the therapist was a very sweet lady there to just listen which I can always appreciate. I really like the dentist I see. She and the assistants make me feel comfortable and they seem non judgemental. I have the nastiest teeth for a 32 year old. Tsk tsk on me. The substance abuse counselor, Mr. Felix was such a breath of fresh air. He went at my pace and we set realistic goals for my road to recovery. At the Victorville office, the receptionists know me & are always really helpful and friendly. I get A LOT physicals, vaccines, TB tests, forms signed, etc that I need for school the last 2 years. Never had any issues. Even Dr. Ayass' nurse knows me, she went with him to the new office. Everyone is so nice. I want to mention that after hours and for certain things, like appointments and refills, the calls go to a service or off site, usually. So far everytime I've called the Phelan office, I think someone in that office answers. Definitely recommend.

I overheard one of the office staff remark that, "she was having a bad day because there were 23 patients in the office, it was Friday, and she was hoping to go home early!" In an economy where people are struggling to even have a job, send that old woman home for good, and let the job go to another who will appreciate the employment. Basically, I had a puncture wound that required cleaning, perhaps a few stitches, and possibly a tetanus shot. The end result was that I had to wait two days to get back home to a medical facility in my neighborhood.
