I was flying through SoCal when I began to feel ill. I don't have a PCP in this region, so I went to a local urgent care and then later to a hospital in DTLA; however, the staff were unable to properly diagnose me. Eventually, one of the doctors was able to refer me to Dr. Ganesh, who is an infectious disease specialist. Dr. Ganesh was professional, timely, courteous, calm, and ensured that all of my needs were met during all of my in and out patient visits. Most importantly, he was able to make an accurate diagnosis. It turns out that Dr. Ganesh also practices internal medicine, so I use this clinic for annual exams now as well. The clinic staff are friendly and helpful, and billing even with insurance is a breeze.

She told the nurse that her knees and eyes hurt, but the nurse never communicated this to the doctor. When the doctor left, the nurse told my mom, "oh well, you can only ask for three things, you're asking for more, he already left." That is unacceptable. On top of that, my mom needed a DMV form. Since the doctor had already left, she was told to come back the next day. Frustrating, but she agreed. When she returned, she had to wait a very long time just to be seen. Another doctor reviewed her chart but said there was "no record" and refused to sign the form she needed. They sent her to the front desk for help, but when she spoke with Denise, she was extremely rude and dismissive. Instead of assisting, Denise told my mom "we don't do that, you have to call." This entire experience was a mess of miscommunication, lack of compassion, and outright rudeness. My mom left without the care or forms she needed. Sadly, she will not be returning here. When you seek medical care, you hope for professionalism, kindness, and respect. Unfortunately, this office showed none of that. Patients deserve better.

Today, after trying ten times, I finally managed to get through and schedule an appointment. I told them on the phone that I had been calling for two weeks and had left messages asking for a callback, but no one ever returned my calls. The response I got was: "You just need to keep trying to call." At one point, I even drove to the office in person just to schedule an appointment, but I cannot keep driving there every time. I also requested my medical records because I want to change doctors, and I was told it would cost $25. Seriously??? I have never seen a charge for medical records before. There are three people working at the front desk, and I honestly don't know what they are doing. This review is a cry for help. It's unbelievable. I have never experienced such poor front desk service in my life. It honestly feels like they are intentionally not answering the phone. On top of that, the doctor likes to order various tests and insists that you come in every few months for visits, for reasons that are unclear -- likely just to charge you more money. The doctor also never found the cause of the condition I originally came in for.
