The UGLY ...and it is ugly You will wait, and wait, and wait, and WAIT in the office for an ABSURD amount of time before they call you back...and if you are unlucky like me...they might not even call you back. For my second appointment, I called to let them know I would be ten minutes late, they were cool with it. I arrived ten minutes late and had to wait one hour and twenty minutes to be called back for a quick test. No problem, it was my fault for arriving late...I thought. BUT TODAY, oy vey!! I arrived early for my 3pm appointment. At 4:42pm I see a hall light go off and a staff member leave...I decide I better go to the counter as it seems they may have forgotten about me???? I go to the front desk and ask the girl if I should reschedule my appointment (since they close at 5pm and I was there for a stress test which apparently takes some time). She says, "ok" and makes a new appointment for me in two more weeks . She NEVER asked why I wanted to reschedule and never apologized for my wait. After sitting in the waiting room for ONE HOUR AND FORTY SEVEN MINUTES I would think they would have some sort of empathy for the patient that just waited for nearly two hours for an appointment. Typical high desert service. I was so happy to find a doctor in the high desert that had more than two stars... sadly, this place is just like the rest of the medical offices up here. They don't give a S... about you or your time. I hope the office manager reads this and gets some customer service training for the person at the window that didn't give a crap about my exasperatingly long wait... the only thing she was worried about was getting to leave in 18 minutes. 1 STAR -- Extremely Disappointing and Unacceptable Patient Care…read more I am writing this review because of the terrible experience my family and I have had with Victor Valley Global Medical Center in Victorville, California. I would not wish what we have gone through on any other family. My father has been dealing with serious medical complications following brain surgery. During one of the most difficult and frightening times of our lives, we depended on this hospital to provide him with proper medical attention, monitoring, communication, and compassionate care. Unfortunately, our experience has been the complete opposite. One of our biggest concerns has been the handling of my father's medications and medical condition. During his hospitalization, medications he had previously been receiving, including heparin, were stopped. We were told that he no longer needed certain treatments, yet from our perspective, his condition appeared to worsen afterward. As his family, we repeatedly expressed our concerns and asked questions, but we never felt that we received clear, satisfactory explanations. We have also had serious concerns regarding a blood clot in my father's left leg and the handling of his blood-thinning medication. His discharge paperwork listed Eliquis (apixaban), a medication used to treat blood clots. However, when we attempted to obtain the medication, the pharmacy had not received the prescription. This left our family scrambling to figure out how to obtain a medication listed in his discharge instructions. How is a family supposed to feel confident taking a loved one home when there are unresolved questions about important medications? Another major issue has been the lack of communication and attention from hospital staff. We repeatedly tried to get answers about my father's condition, treatment, and the possibility of transferring him to a hospital that could provide a higher level of care. Instead of feeling supported, we often felt ignored, dismissed, and treated as though asking questions was an inconvenience. Our experience with case management was particularly disappointing. We asked for assistance with transferring my father to Loma Linda University Medical Center because we were concerned about his condition and wanted him evaluated at a facility familiar with his complicated medical history. Rather than receiving clear guidance and compassionate assistance, we felt that our concerns were met with frustration and resistance. Families should not have to fight this hard to advocate for someone they love. My father is not just another patient or another room number. He is a human being, a father, and someone whose health and life mean everything to his family. Watching him struggle while feeling that our concerns were not being taken seriously has been heartbreaking, exhausting, and incredibly stressful. I understand that hospitals are busy, medical decisions can be complicated, and healthcare workers face difficult situations every day. I also understand that not every complication means someone made a mistake. However, none of that excuses poor communication, a lack of compassion, or leaving families confused about their loved one's care and discharge medications. We trusted this hospital during an extremely vulnerable time, and that trust has been severely damaged. I am sharing this experience because I believe hospital leadership needs to take these concerns seriously. I want a thorough review of my father's care, the decisions surrounding his medications, the discharge prescription process, and the way our family was treated when we asked for help. No family should have to repeatedly beg for answers, fight to have their concerns heard, or struggle to obtain medication listed on their loved one's discharge paperwork. I sincerely hope hospital administration investigates these concerns and makes meaningful improvements in patient care, communication, discharge coordination, and accountability. Based on our family's experience, I cannot recommend Victor Valley Global Medical Center. I hope that by sharing what happened, other families will know the importance of advocating for their loved ones and demanding clear answers about their medical care. Patients deserve attention. Families deserve communication. And every person who enters a hospital deserves to be treated with dignity, compassion, and respect.

He put me at ease & administered the first part -- nuclear & camera. I was handed off to my Nurse Shannon. This was for the treadmill portion & I was getting more nervous. Her bedside kind manner was all I needed. She explained the entire procedure. I was ready. During the procedure both Chuck & Shannon were present cheering me on -- telling me I was doing great. They motivated me to not quit When I was finished I felt better than I did before I arrived. Than you Dr Diva for assembling an awesome, caring & dedicated TEAM. Chuck even scheduled my follow-up appointment in Barstow for me & my Bride.

Right now I am without a heart doctor. I have never heard of doctor doing this before. The last time I talked to somebody they said he was booked out through January and they were waiting for him to add more days in. I have not been gotten back to this is really concerning. I just got off the phone with them and I had to ask for the office manager. Now after 5 6 weeks they are telling me they are no longer taking new patients. Why didn't they tell me this from the very beginning. This is not the way an office should run. When I asked them in the very beginning if they were taking new patients the answer was yes and Hannah told me that numerous of times she just said the doctor had to open up more days. I am so upset this is not the way it should be for a heart specialist. If I could give one star I would. As many times as I have talked to Hannah she should have just told me. One time she did tell me if I didn't like the wait that I could go somewhere else. I just heard great reviews on this doctor. I wish I had gotten the opportunity to find that out.
