Inside the terminal.

I travel between Providence and NYC several times a month and almost always use PP. When I don't, I use GO Buses. Peter Pan is usually extremely punctual. It's easy to get to the terminal from the highway. The parking lot is lit pretty well. Prices are reasonable, although upping from $25 to $40 is not. You may get an incredibly comfortable bus with great Wi-Fi, outlets at every seat, and a tray table - or you may get a bus that resembles your school trip out of town with no internet available. I've had more good buses than bad, but I have to note the toss up. Two biggest reasons to take off stars: There are a lot of departure times, but the most convenient ones seem to be lacking (most notably nothing between 3pm & 6pm weekdays). More importantly, the Wi-Fi and outlets are hit or miss. A four hour bus ride where you expect to be able to work becomes a time sucking hell when unable to access the promised internet or charge. The last time I came in from NYC I had to turn on my Mobile Hotspot for my colleague and I - draining battery and my data. PROS: Mostly clean terminal. Low priced deli inside for a quick bite or coffee. Leave to the minute most days. Disclaimer: I always purchase in advance so I have not interacted with staff. CONS: Wi-Fi and outlets are hit or miss, which is a HUGE problem. Used to be $25 for everything online, now goes up to $42 prepaid. May not have a departure time that works for you.

So many people waiting, waiting, waiting... But Peter Pan doesn't care.

Yelp should start allowing 0 star reviews, because that's what businesses like Peter Pan deserve. I am currently waiting for the bus--as I have been for almost 3 hours--as I write this. I booked a 8:40am trip to NYC from Providence. I got to the station at 8am to wait for the bus. At 8:35am, a bus pulls up but refuses to take us because it was the 8:30am bus. The driver tells us to wait for our bus and left, even though the bus was not full. Fast forward to 9:25am and the 8:40am bus is finally here. We all get in line again, and what do you know? It's overbooked. Another bus pulls up then, but the driver tells us we can't leave until 11am. So there are over 10 angry people sitting in the terminal, an empty bus, and a driver milling around trying to kill time. What's a pretty picture. The driver says he's willing to drive us if the dispatcher gives him permission. We talk to the customer service representative at the station. She tells us we just have to wait. Unwilling to accept that as our fate, I call their customer service line to explain our situation. He gives me the same answer! Time to switch tactics, since logical reasoning isn't getting through. So I threaten to use every social media outlet to which I have access to let people know that Peter Pan is the worst bus company and make sure that they lose thousands of customers and hundreds of thousands of dollars in business. He puts me on hold after that. But when he comes back, he still tells me that we all just have to wait. Oh, you thought I wasn't serious?! I always keep my word. I am going to do everything in my power to make sure Peter Pan loses as much business as possible. I sincerely hope it goes bankrupt soon.

I've been using Peter Pan Bus Lines for 3 months now to visit my girlfriend in Providence (leaving from NYC) the bus is always ready to go and all loaded up by the 1pm departure time every week. Only reason for 4 stars is that they have wifi and outlets on board but they do not always work. The bathrooms are pretty gross but you're on a bus so you can't expect too much. Bus terminal bathrooms are also pretty gross, but again, they're a bus service so it's okay.

You can get to Logan, and play the lottery

Has anyone ever taken the 7am bus to Logan? It lists an eta of 810 but I'm an sure with traffic that is a wrong estimate

Actually - though it is hard to believe - the bus is pretty much on time. The drivers know how to skirt or avoid traffic jams and miraculously get to Boston close to, if not, right on time!

He sent us an email for asking for a review, so this is what I sent: "Thank you so much for reaching out! We were under the impression that our driver would arrive at 1:20pm and leave at 1:30pm to get to the Roger Williams Botanical center for a drop off time of 2:00pm. I believe the driver John arrived early around 1:00pm and started to get antsy that we were not on the bus earlier than 1:20pm. Without introducing himself, he told us to immediately get onto the bus, and proceeded to tell us that he has two more weddings to pickup and he couldn't be late. Myself (the bride) and my mother were the last to board the bus at 1:36pm. I sat in the front seat and watched the clock strike 1:57pm as we were dropped off on time at the Botanical Center. We paid $325.00 to go from my parent's house, which is about a 4 mile/ 15 minute drive to the Botanical Center. My photographer witnessed John's unprofessionalism and reassured me that all transportation vendors act the same way and are the "divas" of the wedding industry. I can say that out of the ten different vendors that I worked with on Saturday, the transportation was in fact the most disappointing. However, Tim raved about your attentiveness when booking the transportation, and had a pleasant experience with you. I know everyone is entitled to an "off" day, but a company is only as good as its worst employee. " What I ended up dealing with in the morning, made me feel better about my choice of selecting a different form of transportation leaving the venue.

First, the desk attendant might as well not exist because if you ask him/her a question, they don't bother to help you. For example, I asked them if my bus was running late and the only response I received was an immediate and default "yes". C'mon, really? There's a computer in front of you and you can't even bother to check? After believing that the bus is on time, I wait outside in the near zero degree weather and, after FORTY-FIVE minutes past the scheduled arrival, it arrives. On time...right. My next complaint is probably for Greyhound as an entity. The drivers I worked with this past month were all incompetent, apathetic, and power-tripping. People were smoking cigarettes on the bus and the driver did nothing. People drank to a stupor in the back and filled the restroom with putrid vomit and the driver did nothing. Oh, and if the driver is running late, can you have them not take it out on the customers? Just because you're behind schedule doesn't mean you get to freak out on your customers.

I'm 19 years old and was traveling alone from Philly to Hyannis, and I'm still not very confident with traveling on my own. What really made this experience so good was the driver. Everyone I interacted with was friendly and kind, but the driver especially stood out. He was a bald man with glasses and a big beard, and he was genuinely one of the sweetest and most caring people I've met while traveling. He was patient with everyone, calm, respectful, and made sure people were okay throughout the ride. That kind of hospitality is honestly hard to find nowadays. Usually traveling stresses me out a lot, but for the first time I actually felt relaxed and comfortable during the trip. He made the whole experience feel safe and easy, and I'm really thankful for that. So thank you again to him and the company for such a great experience.
