Catching the bus in Manhattan can be a little hidden since you don't really see the sign for Go Buses unless you walk down W 30th Street between 9th and 10th ave. We had an excellent experience working with Buddy and his team for our wedding day transportation…read more From the very beginning, Buddy made the entire process seamless and stress-free. He was responsive, organized, and a pleasure to work with throughout the planning process. On the day of the wedding, our driver, Joel, was fantastic. He was kind, genuine, professional, and everything we could have asked for. The transportation arrived right on time, the vehicle was impeccably clean, and the air conditioning was absolutely cranking, which was very much appreciated on a warm summer wedding day! Having reliable transportation allowed us to relax and focus on enjoying the moment, knowing everything was being handled smoothly. Joel played a huge role in helping the day run seamlessly, and we're incredibly grateful for his professionalism and kindness. We highly recommend Buddy and his team to anyone looking for dependable, professional, and stress-free transportation services. Thank you for helping make our wedding day so special!

He sent us an email for asking for a review, so this is what I sent: "Thank you so much for reaching out! We were under the impression that our driver would arrive at 1:20pm and leave at 1:30pm to get to the Roger Williams Botanical center for a drop off time of 2:00pm. I believe the driver John arrived early around 1:00pm and started to get antsy that we were not on the bus earlier than 1:20pm. Without introducing himself, he told us to immediately get onto the bus, and proceeded to tell us that he has two more weddings to pickup and he couldn't be late. Myself (the bride) and my mother were the last to board the bus at 1:36pm. I sat in the front seat and watched the clock strike 1:57pm as we were dropped off on time at the Botanical Center. We paid $325.00 to go from my parent's house, which is about a 4 mile/ 15 minute drive to the Botanical Center. My photographer witnessed John's unprofessionalism and reassured me that all transportation vendors act the same way and are the "divas" of the wedding industry. I can say that out of the ten different vendors that I worked with on Saturday, the transportation was in fact the most disappointing. However, Tim raved about your attentiveness when booking the transportation, and had a pleasant experience with you. I know everyone is entitled to an "off" day, but a company is only as good as its worst employee. " What I ended up dealing with in the morning, made me feel better about my choice of selecting a different form of transportation leaving the venue.

They called their friend who was on the bus already to see if the driver could hold the bus. Understandably the driver could not do so, and they boarded a different bus that night and I thought that the $60 in bus fares was lost ... A week later I brought my son to the go buses station in Newton and happened to mention the previous week's incident to the manager Lewis Aflalo. He recalled it, since the bus driver had contacted him back then. He was able to issue the credit back for the missed rides based on the fact that we ride the bus frequently. He also coached my son to be more punctual, explaining how it's a vital life skill (always more effective coming from someone other than your mom). Lewis gave my son a bottle of water and was overall very helpful. They often send out emails with discount codes. I wish they would have a longer window to take advantage of those sales, Lewis plz take note ;)

Almost every time I have had a driver named Jill. She's super nice and made sure the bathroom was clean and trash was emptied before people boarded the bus. Great communication too, last time it was during a snow storm, she was very informative. So far every time, everything has been great. Also, I had to make a change to a reservation and within 5 mins of sending the email I received a call, unfortunately I was unable to answer it. Then a bit later received another and was told that my reservation issue was all set. Thank you to the 2 women that called and thank you Go buses! Greatly appreciated! I look forward to many more trips with you.

First, the desk attendant might as well not exist because if you ask him/her a question, they don't bother to help you. For example, I asked them if my bus was running late and the only response I received was an immediate and default "yes". C'mon, really? There's a computer in front of you and you can't even bother to check? After believing that the bus is on time, I wait outside in the near zero degree weather and, after FORTY-FIVE minutes past the scheduled arrival, it arrives. On time...right. My next complaint is probably for Greyhound as an entity. The drivers I worked with this past month were all incompetent, apathetic, and power-tripping. People were smoking cigarettes on the bus and the driver did nothing. People drank to a stupor in the back and filled the restroom with putrid vomit and the driver did nothing. Oh, and if the driver is running late, can you have them not take it out on the customers? Just because you're behind schedule doesn't mean you get to freak out on your customers.

The inconsistency of the buses is a problem. Sometimes they do not arrive on time and passengers have to wait out in the cold or weather for 20-30-20 minutes before the bus arrives. Other times, the WiFi does not work, that is a problem if you plan on using it for 3-4 hours and it does not work. Most of the drivers are polite and helpful. Still, a low cost option out of Providence...not top in terms of customer service though.

Obviously if you're on the road in New York at certain times you're going to hit traffic. But I think the drivers do a good job of mitigating that as much as possible, making an effort to leave on time. The trip from PVD to NYC can take as little as 3 hours! The Providence route is not super busy so if you're traveling outside of peak times (i.e. Friday night, Sunday night) you have a good chance of getting a row to yourself. You have the option to depart from the Peter Pan bus terminal near Branch Ave. or the downtown / Convention Center area. Both are pretty convenient!

Upon arrival at the pickup destination, we were greeted by a bus that was in much older condition than the one promised per the website and had none of the amenities that were promised with the newer coach. In addition, the bus driver was from Greyhound bus lines and was sub contracted along with the bus for this job. After the driver informed me I should call the business, I did. The person there said that all of their buses broke down that afternoon and they needed someone to show up and the owner would call me back next week! After I called to follow up again, the owner finally responded and mentioned terms and conditions on my invoice (There were no terms and conditions) and when I asked him for them he wasn't sure why they weren't on my agreement. He said buses break and it was better that we had a bus at all and I explained that it would have been nice to have been given notice that what I paid for is not what I would receive and a discount/refund or cancellation should be offered. I also explained that the bus driver informed me he had been retained for that night for over a week. With this information I confronted him again and he simply denied knowing anything about the driver or the dishonest business practice of the classic "bait & switch". Returning from Hyannis on July 8, the bus left 20 minutes late--which is acceptable. But then the driver dawdled and struggled at each and every stop.
