Exceptional Service and Attention to Detail…read more I visited the Mizzen+Main store in Hyde Park (Tampa) on Saturday -- their only Florida location -- and the experience exceeded expectations. Gerald, my sales representative, was knowledgeable, personable, and provided excellent guidance on fit, fabric, and color combinations. Julia, the manager, was equally professional and made sure my military discount was applied without issue. The service felt effortless and genuine -- every detail was handled with care. I left with several shirts and ordered a few more that weren't available in my size. It's rare to find a retail experience that combines professionalism, product expertise, and genuine hospitality at this level. I'll definitely be returning

It is a new store in Old Hyde Park Village in the newly constructed building on Snow Ave. Bonobos is an on-line retailer. This location is a small brick & mortar fitting store only. They display men's pant, shirts and suits to try on for size. You then make your purchase and the order is shipped directly to you. My three shirts arrived via UPS about 3 days later. I noticed a small flaw in the collar stitching & returned it to the brick & mortar location. The replacement was promptly sent to me. You can also return items via UPS with no return shipping charge. This looks like the retail model of the future. Go to a fitting store for selection of style, color and size (no merchandise available to take home) then have your order shipped from the online warehouse to your door. Works for me.

The place carries a variety of "southern" gear, which equates into what fraternity people who are no longer in a fraternity would wear after leaving college. It also caters to the people who are actually still in fraternities. Like I said, it is a very Southern place, so think camo hats, fishing shirts, maybe some nice button downs, bow ties, croakies. For the ladies, the clothing is pretty cute but don't count on the stock changing too much. I think I have literally seen the same dress sitting in the place for an entire year. They also carry jewelry and some housewares that are pretty Tampa-esque, which is neat. I must say I'm sorta bummed about this place though because they were running a Creative Loafing deal half off and then rescinded it AFTER I had bought it which sort of sucks because it seems like these people want the money and not the good business that they could get from the deal. Their stuff goes on sale sometimes but it's hardly anything to bat my eyes over since I know it'll always be there, even a year from now.

On top of calling ahead and asking if they make women's suits, I was told they do. I scheduled an appointment and only to go there and find out they don't make women's suits. They use men's suits cut and only are allowed to alter it slightly which makes no sense and it's worthless for the amount you pay. They wouldn't be able to make a skirt. They wasted my time and made me drive all the way there. On top of that the lady I scheduled the appointment with took too long in her appointment with a man and did not even take any consideration for her appointment with me. They left me standing by the door waiting for 10-15 mins only to tell me eventually that the lady, Gabriella, is too busy with a customer and wouldn't be able to accommodate the appointment with me.
