So we sent my husband there to get fitted for a suit for my son's wedding and were really impressed with their knowledge and experience. The tailors have a quick turnaround time. We plan to go back this month and order another custom suit for my husband to wear at my daughter's wedding. Make sure to make an appointment as they are not fans of people just walking in. I really wanted to give them a chance after a negative experience in California. This company is sexist to the core and supports men in the workforce, not women. On top of calling ahead and asking if they make women's suits, I was told they do. I scheduled an appointment and only to go there and find out they don't make women's suits. They use men's suits cut and only are allowed to alter it slightly which makes no sense and it's worthless for the amount you pay. They wouldn't be able to make a skirt. They wasted my time and made me drive all the way there. On top of that the lady I scheduled the appointment with took too long in her appointment with a man and did not even take any consideration for her appointment with me. They left me standing by the door waiting for 10-15 mins only to tell me eventually that the lady, Gabriella, is too busy with a customer and wouldn't be able to accommodate the appointment with me. I do not recommend this business. I'll be waiting for the moment they go out of business. Do not support sexist companies! read more

I will try to make this constructive as possible. Suit Supply, as a company, looks and executes their sales strategies very well! I am intrigued and impressed with the lay out with their store and it has a very welcoming touch to it, in terms of set up. Now let's go to the people who work there... In my most recent transaction, I could have not been more disgruntled and turned off by the sales team and management. To summarize, I was on a call with Marco, less than a month ago to purchase a suit for my boyfriend's birthday. I had the sales associate reference my boyfriend's account and gather his size to fulfill the purchase since I wanted it to be a surprise. That entire interactions went very well and I was excited for my boyfriend to receive mentioned gift. Fast forward day of his birthday, he opens said gift that is 10 sizes too large. Disappointing, but hey, it happens. We shall surely get it corrected at the store level, no biggie is what we thought. Don't go into the store and interact with the store associates unless you want to be completely infuriated. So first we are troubled with some sort of "30 day policy"-- I pull up recipes within the 25 days or purchase and robotically , the sales associates repeats to me of this 30 days policy of "so we can't do exchanges or returns" not comprehending they sent me a suit TEN sizes too big for my boyfriend. It's like she did not process that it was the wrong size they sent me on their behalf... and so the suit is useless ... ?! Managements pulls up his record-- low and behold it is indeed 10 sizes TOO LARGE from what his record depict. Confirms error, offers no apologies, accountability or solutions. This turns us away from the exchange process. I'm writing this review to enunciate my fruition no apology or accountability was taken in this mishap and instead, I was met with policies and procedures inconsistent with REAL LIFE. For example if date of purchase was 6/30 and date of coming in to refute enormous size was 7/26, why am I being hassled with a 30 day policy, why is what I'm saying not being processed appropriately ?? So instead of coming in to exchange for correct size, we were so disgruntled at the lack of apology, accountability and solution, we left. In hopes of better servicing, this review is considered and proper infrastructure of sales force and costumer service base is enforced. Really LOVED the suits and quality, hate the delivery. We needed to get my fiancé a new suit and after a bad experience at Men's Warehouse we decided to try out Suit Supply. We walked in and were greeted by Philip who walked us through our options and pulled some pant and jacket options for him to try on. He even provided tie and shirt options that would work well with the suit. He placed the order for the suit and let us know we'd receive an email once it arrived at the store. Once we received the email that the suit had arrived, we went back to the store and were greeted by Philip again. He made sure the suit perfectly fit my fiancé and was extremely attentive. He let us know tailoring would take about 3 days. The only reason for 4 stars is on our last visit to pickup the tailored suit, Philip was not in and we were greeted by Joel. He grabbed the suit and said my fiancé could try it on, but then he pretty much disappeared and didn't even come back around to check if the suit fit correctly. We were planning to buy a shirt and tie on this occasion as well, but decided against it since the service was bad. Just left a bad taste in our mouths. Visited this store on March 12, 2024 and you will see why I rated them as a one soon. My significant other mentioned he wanted a few suits and we have a wedding coming up where he would need a few nice items for the weekend. I had interest in going in this store for the last few months, so it was ideal to check it out at this time. We entered the store and it was busy, so we walked around for over 30 minutes before I started approaching someone to see how we could get assistance as no one even acknowledged or addressed us that entire time. This individual decided to in a pompous manner inform us that we should have signed in upon arrival for service. Well if someone had said hello, maybe we could have. I mentioned to him that no one provided us any information upon our arrival on their process and he responded with well now you know so do you want to give me your number and we will text you when someone is available. Fast forward to today and I was looking at a high end department store for clothing and shoe options with him and asked if they ever text you that someone was available and to my color me surprised, he said no. I've never left a one star review in my life; however, both the trash quality product and abysmal customer service at Suit Supply Tampa inspired me to make a Yelp account to try and save others from the same fate. I went to purchase what I thought would be an upscale suit for my 30th birthday. We found a nice-looking suit off the rack and paid over $800 for the jacket and pants, as well as a separate dinner jacket worth around $400 for a $1200 purchase in total. Before we checked out, we noticed that the seam in the dinner jacket was very loose, such that you could easily pull the panels apart. Our salesman, Joel, insisted that this was normal and we should just take the jacket home anyway. We insisted that this was not normal and, fine, they begrudgingly ordered a separate jacket. Not the end of the world, sure. However, the first time I wore the suit out, the pants ripped literally the first time I squatted down. Given that there had been workmanship issues with 2/3 articles I'd purchased, I attempted to return the suit. Again I was met by Joel and his smug attitude, who smirked at me saying that there was nothing they could do as I was outside the 30 day return policy. They offered to repair the suit for free - okay, fine. But then the in-house seamstress says that the pants cannot be repaired without ruining them. Okay, so surely I'm entitled to a refund now? Nope, sorry, there's nothing we can do. I got an hour of wear on an $800 suit that obviously was very poorly made, and not only was I refused a refund or replacement, I was told they would be happy to waive the alteration fee if I wanted to purchase a replacement at full price! What was even more infuriating is that Joel seemed to be almost enjoying my frustration with his constant smirking as I attempted to find some way to not feel like we wasted hundreds of dollars. The kicker is that everything I bought from them looked absolutely amazing, but the build quality is so poor it 100% will not last for anyone unless they want to lay motionless in bed and never leave the house. I'm heartbroken because I feel like my father's 30th birthday gift to me was a complete scam. Stay far far away from this terrible store with awful employees and horrible quality products. read more

The decision was to wear a deep green suit (Yes I married the raddest dude on the planet). This began the hunt for the perfect green suit. Which turned out to be really challenging. We couldn't find what we were looking for anywhere...Then one fated day while on a trip to Houston, he wandered into a Suitsupply and there it was! The team shipped the suit to their Hyde Park location for us, completely complimentary. Once it arrived in Tampa the real fun began. With just about a month before the ceremony this team helped us sort through all the final details of my handsome man's wardrobing. Each visit to the shop we were warmly greeted and offered coffee/tea etc... They helped us select shoes (shoes we didn't even purchase from them!) they also worked with me to select a pocket square without him knowing so that I could have it embroidered with a sweet message. The tailoring service was absolutely seamless! Pun intended. When we arrived on alterations day they gave full attention to him. The suit was altered and pressed and ready within a week. This is a top notch shop. Service, style, and ambience for days! Definitely can't do a shopping trip to Hyde Park without stopping here. read more

I purchased a Suit Supply item online (COVID) and decided to come in to have them tailor it. Now, anybody can tailor a suit but I thought they'd be the best at doing it. They might be the most familiar with their clothes, but I was disappointed by how un-opinionated and unhelpful my sales advisor was during this process. I don't know that much about suits, so it would have been nice to get nudged in one way or another about how to tailor the suit. My hubby needed a suit made to fit his unique frame as a soon to be Father of the Bride. We had a specific color palette to work with when wwandered in to Suit Supply and met Robert, who immediately made us feel SO welcome and comfortable. Robert was a great listener, serving us coffee and assorted beverages while offering his expertise and fashion sense regarding all things fit and style. Hubby picked out everything from fabric to buttons to script and thread color of engraving, pockets, and lengths. We found out he had a slight droop in one shoulder. On second visit, Robert put a few more pins in to make leg width a bit less, and pulled in one shoulder slightly. I drank more espresso. The 3rd visit was unscheduled and Robert hustled to greet us as we entered. The final fit was perfect. Suit Supply is quite beautiful and plays great music as well. Plenty of staff on hand. I've been to the Hyde Park location several times with my husband. The staff are friendly and extremely knowledgeable. They take their time to help you find the perfect fit. When my husband returned to pick up his suits, the alterations weren't exactly right. The staff told him they would get it fixed quickly. Within the same week, the suit was ready and this time it fit perfectly. I have seen negative reviews about this store, but our experience has only been positive. My husband does at times make an appointment to meet with a staff member to ensure one-on-one uninterrupted time, but he doesn't do that every time. The suit quality is fantastic and the price is less than other designer suits of lesser quality. They also sell shoes and other casual clothing for men. read more

Worst experience ever! For starters there is no acknowledgment from anyone if you step in the store. Asking for 3 specific items in my size and not receiving a single item. Being completely ignored majority of the time and having to fetch items off of the very top shelves. My partner stopped a staff member to ask a question, she rushed by her to replenish inventory on a shelf and then walked right past her to answer the phone. We all understand there is a lag in staff due to the pandemic but to be treated this way is completely unacceptable. Horrible store and store manager. I had been warned about this store but needed to exchange an item I bought at the Miami store and was in Tampa so went anyway. The Manager said that she would not allow me to enter the store with my service dog and would not even let me get my certification from my bag to show her. She flat out refused us entry saying it was her store policy. Service dogs cannot be denied access to retail stores and the store in Miami had no problem. She must have something against dogs and is opening herself and the store up to a lawsuit if she continues with this policy. Stay away from this store and its nasty store personnel. read more
