What a great experience. From the moment I walked into the store I was greeted with a friendly hello and a smile. Eman would become my salesman. Talk about full service...He listened to what I was looking for, looked at pictures of examples, looked at the outfit that my husband would be wearing that needed to complement my new suit, etc. He then helped me find the perfect suit with a complementing knit tie and silk pocket square. The in-house tatlot was able to custom fit my suit and the new white shirt I was purchasing from them as well. After the alterations, I could not have asked for the suit to fit me any better. I came to Tampa about 2 years ago now and I remember my first time in this store. The sales man in this store was extremely rude, the owner was a little nicer to me I remember I came back a second time a spoke to the owner, he never said he was the owner but I knew. The sales man treated me as if I was a bother to him because I was looking around in the store. I found his smile to turn quickly into an air of arrogance when he felt as if he'd make no money from me. He was short with me and he showed me nothing but insult in his eyes. He had no idea I could afford something's in the store maybe not a lot but I was just curious I never even knew what the store was. He will never see my business. Absolutely bizarre experience. I asked to see the rider style jacket in the window and the employee literally told me it's too expernsive for me, which is probably true, it was pretty cringey. Then I asked about the suits, explaining I actually like the little bit of flair they have. Instead of showing me any suits, he proceeded to push jeans on me. I explained I literally don't even wear jeans since I move to Florida, and he proceeded to show me every type of jeans they had! I feel like he was trolling, but he's the guy I see in there all the time so he definitely works there.. Bizarre! read more

Horrible service. The "custom" suits (and I use the word custom very loosely) we're extremely loose and not the same size that I ordered. The jacket fit was switched and was not even told about the change. Amir, the employee helping was rude and made this experience very pleasant. I would recommend everyone to not shop here. read more

This place is great! Eman was very personable, helped me pick out a great suit and a great price! Their selection options are vast and include suits from nearly every price range. The tailoring process was effortless and done perfectly as well. The whole process took 7-8 days in total from the initial picking of my suit to final product after tailoring. I originally purchased my suit for my wedding from another store, but after walking into Milano Exchange I wish I would have gotten it here! I did buy my some Italian shoes from them that I will be wearing for my wedding and they are incredible. My next suit will be purchased from them! I've bought several items from Milano Exchange and I must say that I'm happy with my experience. I like that the store brings in a lot of items that are more trendy or fashionable and not the same cookie cutter clothing most other stores offer. Amir is a cool character, yes he forgot to order something for me but I'm ok with that. May be he is not the clone from the major department stores but I get personalized service. How many of the salesperson on a department store remember every item you have ever bought from them and when you come in will reccomend you a shirt for a jacket you bought 8 months ago. Another aspect I think is helpful is that he stays aware of the latest trends and provides some good pointers. Overall if your looking for traditional corporate robot look this is not the place for you but if you're looking for elegant clothes that can go from trendy classic to elegant with an edge, this is the spot. read more

The owner was the cheesiest, most insulting sales rep I have ever encountered. I trained sales reps and have a lengthy history in sales, and was astonished that the owner himself was so bad. I was referred to him and I told him EXACTLY want I wanted. I said I needed business professional suits, and he proceeded to show me "hipster" looking suits, fluffy ties, and outfits that wouldn't pass for 25 seconds in the business professional environment. After telling him he was going the wrong way, I gave an example of what I buy as a point of reference. He then outright insulted the suits I told him I often-purchased. With all the great places at Tampa's International Plaza to buy a suit "i.e., Boss," Milano's existence is unnecessary. The prices are outrageous, the tailoring charge is excessive, and the owner has gotten too full of himself, and desperately needs a reality check. This unshaven, unprofessional kid has no place among $1000+ suits. read more
