This store was established in 1970, and is probably one of the few original stores in Downtown Tampa. A friend and I were looking for wigs for upcoming events being held in the next couple of months. The store is a quaint one located on Franklin and Cass Streets. We stopped in early afternoon, and it was fairly slow. The wigs for sale were beautiful. These wigs are top of the line wigs, not your $15 ordinary ones you find in a costume store that shed every minute. Drew and Connie were very friendly and attentive. Connie was so sweet as she helped my friend try on her wigs. She made putting on a wig cap and wig look so effortless. Wig fittings are priced at $5 for on four wigs. This is understandable due to health regulations. A wig cap is also included in the $5 fee. Another friend of mine loves to bring his seven year old daughter here to try on wigs and she loves it. This is perfect for dads (or moms) who want do something fun on random day. These wigs are, by no means, inexpensive. These are high quality wigs that will last you the length of its use. Hubs & I needed masks & accessories for Yelp's Fairytale Masquerade Party the next day. Once we told one of the guys on the floor what we had in mind, he walked us to the aisle & helped us make our final selections. In fact, he even drug over a ladder so he could check the extra owl masks on top for me, as I was looking for one with feathers of the darkest purple sheen. I loved that I was able to find one that coordinated perfectly with my dress! I also appreciated that my mask was fairly unique, although hubs said he saw someone else at the party of 600+ with the same mask (I never saw it). This helpful Party City employee also pointed out that clearance costumes were BOGO, so hubs was able to buy a costume that included a cape, and a shirt with a vest, to complete his Zorro theme, for $10, and I picked out a costume with a Robin Hood theme, in case I ever need a costume in a pinch, for free. The selection at this Party City is outstanding. I was surprised to see local high-school branded graduation accessories... I should've come here for all of my kids' graduations!
