In the back room, there is a table and chairs in the back to work on projects and socialize. They are offering small group setting classes for crochet and knit projects and to learn the basics. I sat there and worked on my project during a crochet class and the two instructors were patient and encouraging! There is a parking lot for easy and close parking. I wondered through all the rooms of different vendors who had cute setups. I found lots of crystal and housewares which are my favorite things to look at. I ended up purchasing a crystal rose bowl that was so shiny and practically screaming for me to take it home. The store is one floor even though the building is very large and multi floor. It would be nice to see the space expand into the second floor with even more vendors.

I would say for the most part a lot of the prices are pretty reasonable too- it's not an uppity antique shop that charges sky high numbers for everything and is way too proud to ever price down. Upon entering Southern Gentleman Antiques it became clear the owner definitely appreciates all that visit - after a gracious greeting and invitation to explore every area of the shop he also offered refreshments and made us aware of the public restroom which is rare these days and although I passed on the refreshments I did visit the extremely clean and well maintained restroom I can't say enough about the customer service here. we were encouraged to ask any questions on the merchandise and we were left to explore this beautiful shop at our leisure. There are several rooms full, absolutely stocked full of goodies, and it does not look that roomy on the outside of the store. There are all kinds of old school knick knacks, a ton of really beautiful glassware and themed salt shakers. Of course, your pick of gorgeous and unique furniture, locally made prints of Lakeland and even antique shaving sets. Such a cool little store. So many minifigures to choose from. We found a retired set to add to our…read morecollection and grabbed a minifigure each (3) to add to my kid's collection. My daughter loved the Lego tables to play at while my son and sifted through all the cool legos. Then as we drove out we couldn't believe that the train museum was nearby with some great looking restaurants in the area. We will be driving back very soon to walk around the cool town, watch some trains, grab a bite to eat, and stop in to buy more legos.
