Not a very understanding or friendly dentist from my first impression. Because he doesn't have an electronic form for new patients and I don't have a printer, I was unable to print out the new patient form. Due to this, I texted him (seems to be his preferred method of communication) that I would try to come in 10 minutes early to my 2:15pm appointment to fill out the form. While I did arrive to the plaza on time, my phone map took me to the right area, but there were multiple dentist offices in the same spot, and Dr. lee's office is all the way in the back. I spent time walking around the plaza trying to find his office. I walked in at 2:12pm to which he simply remarked that I was late, and would probably be late in the future so he wouldn't see me as a patient. Though I apologized and tried to explain my trouble finding his unit (again, it was my first time going there), he disregarded me and seemed to give me an attitude. While I understand I was late to fill out a new patient form, I didn't think I deserved that treatment. Patients are still humans after all. Thought I can't judge his dental services, the simple lack of graciousness or customer service left a lot to be desired. I hope others have a better experience. read more

If there was a way for me to leave 6 stars I would. I've been suffering from tooth pain when chewing for quite some time. Like any other person, I didn't go to a dentist for years and finally went a week before seeing Dr. Lee. I wish I went to him sooner. As a result of seeing another dentist I found my teeth even more sensitive than before and scheduled for a root canal. All my friends said get another opinion so I did. Here's where Dr. Lee impressed me the most. I was in pain as a result of some deep cleaning and didn't want to go back to the previous dentist. In pain I jumped on yelp and found Dr. Lee and figured I'll leave a voicemail to for his office to call me back. I left this voicemail on Easter Sunday. Within an hour I received text messages from Dr. Lee asking about my situation since I was in pain and if I could come in on Monday. So the next day I just want everything fixed. I jump into the chair and Dr. Lee started going over my x-rays and doesn't see anything evident. After talking with him root canal should be the last option. Well, he starts looking at my bite and finds my teeth may have shifted. He starts filing away at one of my fillings and advises me to stay on soft foods for a week. It's been a little over a week and guess who sends an email. Dr. Lee to follow up with me. So far things have improved. Just like he said, a root canal should be the last option. This is a long awaited review but Dr.Lee was the best dentist I've been to. I chipped three of my teeth back on Labor Day weekend. And I got them fixed by another dentist but I was really unhappy with how it turned out. He used the wrong color for the bonding and did an extremely rushed job which resulted in my tooth looking really yellow and bumpy. I found Dr.Lee through yelp and saw that he treated another person's chipped teeth and they looked amazing fixed. So I gave his office a call and he saw me the day after and got my three teeth fixed at a very reasonable price. (I don't have insurance) I never really go to see doctors or dentists because I don't like any sort of hospital settings. But he made the procedure really comfortable. So it's been about half a year and I've had no issues so far. I just had bad pain in the front tooth for a couple of days and I came in today to get it checked out. He wrote me a prescription for some antibiotics and didn't even charge me for the check up! I would definitely recommend Dr.Lee! read more

My husband and I both go to Dr. Lee. I initially went because I thought I had cracked a tooth. Did a full set of X-rays and found a bunch of cavities and potential root canals. What initially was thought to have been three root canals ended up being one root canal/crown and two fillings. He's very conservative with each procedure and tries his best to save the integrity of your tooth structure. I have a history of bad teeth/cavities so I always appreciate the extra time and attention. His office is clean and has a lot of cool high tech on site. The root canal/crown only took a few hours since everything was done in one visit. I also appreciate Dr. Lee's willingness to explain each step so you know what he is working on. He even entertains my non-related dentistry questions! Oh and he's so efficient so you're not in the chair forever. I highly recommend Dr. Lee! I chipped one of my top front teeth on a Friday night. With my current insurance, I knew I would have to pay out of pocket to get the tooth fixed. I wanted a dentist who knows what they're doing and based on his Yelp reviews, Dr. Lee is that dentist. I emailed him that night for an estimate for the repair and received a reply within an hour. I contacted his office on Monday to make an appointment and was scheduled to come in the next day. After filling out the paperwork, there was no wait time to be seen by Dr. Lee. From start to finish, the procedure took no longer than 15 minutes. He was quick, thorough and gentle. My tooth looked great after the repair, I couldn't tell that it was ever chipped. After reviewing my after photos that night, Dr. Lee contacted me to come back the following day so that he could further polish one small spot (that was unnoticeable to my eye). I will start this by saying I have been avoiding the dentist for years because of another dentist who was too rough. Well my temporary crown finally fell out after years. I don't know how it lasted that long but I could no longer avoid the dentist. This happened a few days before a wedding. Dr. Lee responded back to my inquiry in the middle of the night and got me in the next for an emergency appointment. I couldn't believe how fast and responsive. He did not judge me for avoiding dentist for so long and was great about making everything as painless as possible. He is very talented and very kind. Dr. Lee is a great dentist! To be honest I've only had terrible dentists all my life.. I had dentists that were extremely rough (bruises on my face - I know... HOW right?), dishonest and didn't care about my pain or condition. Dr. Lee is so different from those dentists and I was surprised. Everything was so different. I got a 3D crown done here with him and there were some complications with it. It was a lower molar in the back with little height so it was a complicated case. I also have very severe TMJ and high arch palate and sinusitis which makes certain dental procedures difficult for both parties. He let me know on the same day and texted me right away saying there was a small gap due to excessive bleeding. He scheduled me a few weeks later and fixed the crown no charge on a Saturday. The crown came out perfect. Thicker, fit better, so much better then the first one! He also took little breaks to help my jaw and so I can breathe which I appreciated a lot. Yes, it took an extra visit but it was fixed and I was happy with it. They say integrity is defined as the quality of being honest and having strong moral principles. To be honest this is a quality that is lacking in most people these days let alone dentists. The thing that stuck with me is that the entire time he stressed that it has to be perfect..He is a very great dentist and I much appreciate his dedication to perfectionism and doing the right thing. I found Dr. Lee through my insurance website and gave him a call in the afternoon after checking out his yelp reviews. He really went out of his way to make sure that I had a great experience. First, he opened his office early the next day (8 instead of 9), so I could get a check up before work. I knew I had to get a lot of work done, but he was very up front about the costs. He also ran down some questions I had about insurance and got the price adjusted down a bit. I ended up getting a root canal and crown done on the same day. He has a 3D-printing machine which allows it to be done altogether, so you don't have to deal with that annoying temporary crown and don't have to schedule multiple appointments. The root canal operation was pretty much painless and I think the crown (from what I can tell so far) turned out great. Dr. Lee gave me a call on his personal number later that day asking how it felt and telling me to contact him if anything came up. I think Dr. Lee is building his practice, so he is willing to be really flexible and make it work for his customers. He also has a lot of the latest technologies and was meticulous in his work. Dr. Lee is a fantastic dentist. I found him based on other Yelp reviews and I'm definitely glad I did. I have always managed to get an appointment easily, and I have never had to wait in reception once I arrive. I have a bad case of bruxism (I grind my teeth) and unfortunately, over the years I have managed to severely wear my molars down. Dr. Lee could easily have insisted on crowning them (very expensive), but instead recommended filling them (super affordable) instead, to build them back up. This has literally saved me $1000s. I am also pretty terrible when it comes to flossing (I have a WaterPik now), but I developed a pretty deep cavity, which could easily have turned into a root canal. Dr. Lee was super gentle when drilling the tooth, and managed to prevent that from happening. Overall, Dr. Lee is an all-round great dentist. He is upfront about potential costs but will do his best to keep them to a minimum. He is very professional and follows up after procedures to check all is as it should be. Before finding Dr Lee, I had a dentist in Utah. Shortly after moving to Irvine I had a filling on a tooth that had fallen out... Dr Lee and his staff were incredible! So welcoming, friendly and caring. I had let them know how nervous I was and they were all very good at comforting me in knowing that I was in good hands. We scheduled for a root canal on my tooth that had lost the filling. When I got to the office for my root canal, Dr Lee began working on my tooth and he decided that my tooth didn't need a root canal and that we had caught it soon enough to get by with a filling. I am incredibly grateful for Dr Lee and him caring enough about me, to meet the needs of my teeth. He had scheduled 3 hours for my root canal and a quick filling in my tooth would leave him with an open few hours of no clients...
