    My nephew's new buddy!!

I came in today to purchase a tortoise for my nephew and I truly had the best experience. I originally came in and spoke to Joseph whom was such a pleasure and extremely helpful. He wasn't in today when I came back but Colin and Joe were amazing, they got me everything I needed to create the perfect habitat for the tortoise. They literally walked around the store with me, called various stores to get all the needed items, priced check all my items to ensure I had the lowest prices. They both ensured I was educated on the care and habitat for the tortoise! I had the most amazing experience and would never go to another store. Thank you all for such an amazing experience!!

Contacted their customer service line and received below the bare minimum. Figured I'd at least provide the before and after of the "trim" I asked for turned into a $90 skin infection, medication and shots... and if you are going to screw up this poorly Elsa at least learn how to shave a dog correctly the the next groomer we took her to actually laughed at how bad it looked

Elsa the groomer did a beautiful job on my standard poodle, Winnie! Best grooming job Winnie has ever had! I will definitely be returning to her because not only is she talented, I can tell she does love her job. Very respectful and professional. Thank you, Elsa!

I'm only giving this pet grooming a one star because there is no zero. My daughter is visiting from NYC and I brought her beautiful golden doodle puppy to be groomed. My daughter specifically asked for a teddy bear cut. The dog looks like a hairless dog now. The only thing golden about her is her tail. When I complained the groomer said this is what you asked for. I asked to speak to the manager, and showed her the dog and asked her, does this look like a professional grooming job to you? The Manager again blamed the customer by saying the groomer said this is what you asked for. The manager would take no blame for the Groomer's terrible job. I could have done a better job myself. The customer service was terrible, blame the customer for your Groomer's incompetence. Also, they would have to hold this puppy down forcefully, there is no way they would have been able to shave her face down to the skin, and she has scratches all over her face and body. She does not even have hair around her eyes. Please be my guest and see the before and after pictures and tell me who would ask this to be done to their dog. The dog was terrified when we picked her up. I will never use Petco again for anything and I will tell all my friends.

In search of an affordable, qualified dog training program, I happened upon PETCO dog trainer, "Yvonne", who as it turns out, is clearly West Palms version of "The Dog Whisperer." Yvonne utilizes "positive dog training" and guess what? It works! I realize in large part, it does work because of Yvonne's ability to "read" her puppy client AND pet parent. This women is amazing!!! I never expected to find a trainer with the keen knowledge and sensitivity Yvonne has. "Bailey" and I have learned so much from her. Be prepared to reinforce the training skills you'll learn from her: your active participation, coupled with all Yvonne brings to the table, can't help but lead to success! Good luck!

Horribly unprofessional I booked this groomer regularly and…read moreyesterday they were confirmed to arrive at our house at 2pm. After notifying me they were arriving 15 minutes early they encountered a road block from some road work that was easily rounded by using the detour. They texted me at 1:46, not called TEXTED me and when I didn't answer by 1:52 because I was with my kids they notified me VIA TEXT that they were going to the next appointment and skipping us. At 1:53 I saw my phone and called and they refused to come to our home even though I provided information on how to navigate the detour. They said they'd come back on Sunday and groom the dogs since they missed up Saturday. Sunday night when they never came by I texted and received this answer "no find someone else" ?! Horribly unprofessional and unkind.

I've been trying to get my guys an appointment for about 3 1/2 weeks now. Unfortunately, instead of…read morethe friendly responses, usually with multiple availabilities, all I've gotten is "sorry, we're booked" or "sorry, no availability" with an updated pricing list for dogs that are not only aggressive but also senile or sick; seriously? My guys are 14 and 16 1/2. One has heart disease and the older one has difficulty standing...because he's 16 1/2. I told her at the 1st appointment not to even bother messing with their teeth or trying to brush them because they both have dental disease and I apply spray and gel to their teeth myself. She always tried to apply the gel or spray anyway. If they gave her a hard time, that was her decision because shed already been told not to. They are less and less tolerant of having their nails trimmed, for several reasons. I was aware she was having difficulty doing their nails by the way she was speaking to me after their last visit but I brushed it off as her just being tired or whatever. If you work with animals in any capacity, especially as a groomer or as a vet tech (which I did my entire adult life until I became disabled a few years ago) then you know 99% of dogs and cats despise having their feet touched, let alone their nails trimmed. As someone who also had my own dog training business, if you can't or dont want to work with a client and their pet anymore, for whatever reason, then you find a professional way to TELL THEM. You dont ignore them and give them the runaround, especially when they've been a loyal client who's given you a fantastic review on Yelp. Im going back to taking my boys to their previous groomer who is at a pet hospital. I liked the mobile grooming because im disabled and driving is dang near impossible for me but I guess I have no choice now. We were always friendly towards eachother and she was always sending pictures throughout their grooming sessions, then its literally like she got tired of them. All she had to do was say she didn't want to groom my dogs anymore but she decided to go about it in the most unprofessional way. I really liked her grooming skills and found her prices very reasonable, especially since she was a mobile groomer. I wish she had talked to me about issues she may have been having with my dogs... or any dogs for that matter. Im a certified dog trainer and, as I said, worked as a vet tech; I could've given her some helpful advice on how to handle cats and dogs she might find difficult for a variety of reasons. It's her business to run as she pleases though. Even with all this said, I'd still say give her a chance, my old men always looked great after their time with her ‍. Hopefully going forward, she'll be more upfront and professional.
