I brought my shih tzu Pops into be groomed by Katie today and he looks beautiful! He went in a mess and came out a model lol. He smells great & has a cute bandana. He had a bath, nails trimmed, full haircut & style. He was happy and so was I ! I highly recommend Katie for your grooming needs.

This is a compliment for the gentleman Steve who assisted me with my fish yesterday evening. I have a 55-gallon tank and I'm really a newbie when it comes to populating my tank with fish and plants. He's so knowledgeable on aquatic life, and made me feel confident that the fish I received from Petco would be a great fit for my current aquatic environment. I now know how to populate moss properly and learned some other awesome tips. I have some very happy new fish and they're just having a blast.

The grooming department went well my pup came out looking so freshly groomed ready for the hot days and vacation.. Nikki is our groomer but I have met other staff there and they are so good with my Lucy.. Thank you Nikki for doing such a great job on our pup. My only complaint was the mess on the floor throughout the store there was smeared poop .. other than that customer service was nice and I will continue to bring my pup back for grooming

Never coming back!! Don't get your dog groomed here!! Petco is the most affordable grooming service we have found in our area for our one year old doodle so we've gotten him groomed here on multiple occasions. Each time it's taken at least 3 hours and we didn't have any problems. Today we picked up our dog after ONLY about 2 hours after dropping him off (which should have been the first sign of trouble) and got him back completely shaven. We have NEVER gotten him back like this. The cut was uneven, way shorter than what we agreed on, and his tail completely gone. He's had matting before so on one occasion they did have to make it short but NOT as short as this time. We agreed that his face would be shorter but him body was not matted so we said to make it as long as possible. I don't know if it's new staff or they just lack patience but for the price, this is simply unacceptable.

    - I booked for a bath and trim to the worker who rescheduled my appt failed to do her job properly.

I would give a 0 all because Grooming Services has failed me 3 times. I have booked appts 1st time worker told me my dog is too young to get a trim and that we should wait til she grows her adult hair. 2nd time they had to reschedule because they were short workers. Third time I had booked it but she started her period. The lady had called me to confirm I said we will need to reschedule because she started her periods. Her appt was for May 7 for a haircut and bath. Shows in the photo I attached as proof. Today the 8th I took her in and she comes out looking the same. I am not Paying 70 bucks for just a bath. Apparently the worker that rescheduled me only noted a bath and failed to book what I had originally booked for which was a bath and haircut. To the Worker at the front I want this to be known that I was not at fault. I will be speaking to management when they call me on Monday

This is what my dog came home to after her grooming session at Petco.

This is what my dog came home to after her grooming session at Petco. I'm definitely regretting taking my dog to Petco even after hearing their negative reviews. I don't recommend anyone to take their fur babies to Petco for grooming. It's very sad to see them in pain.

Tito was so reactive that we had to warn anyone who came over, and we were constantly on edge. Beth stepped in and gave us not just hope, but actual tools that worked. She helped us understand Tito in a way we never had before, and the difference in him -- and in our home -- has been incredible. One thing I really want to emphasize is that almost all of the work we did with Beth happened in our own home and in our daily routines, not at her house. The time we spent at her place was very minimal, and was always very calm and controlled. The real transformation came from Beth teaching us how to communicate with Tito, how to read him, and how to guide him so he could feel safe. She always says dog training is 90% people training, and that was absolutely true for us. She taught us how to be better for him, and that's what made the biggest difference. Now Tito is a completely different dog -- relaxed, friendly, and able to enjoy our home without all the chaos and fear he used to feel. Friends and family can come over again. We can breathe again. And that's because of Beth. She didn't just train our dog; she changed the way we live with him, and we're so grateful for everything she's done for our family.

I have decades of experience fostering dogs and personally adopting many of my own, and over the years I've worked with a wide range of trainers. Without question, Steve is in a league entirely of his own. His talent, intuition, and depth of understanding when it comes to dogs is extraordinary. He doesn't just train dogs; he teaches humans how to truly understand them. What made the experience even more unforgettable was the joy he brought into the day. We laughed constantly. At one point my cheeks genuinely hurt from hours of smiling and laughter. And yet, amid all of that warmth and humor, we walked away with an incredibly clear, grounded, and practical understanding of his methods and a deep sense of confidence in our ability to apply them. Steve's approach is refreshingly doable: just five minutes of training per day, paired with his ongoing availability as a resource. That combination alone feels invaluable. We literally just completed our training day today, so I plan to update this review in a few months with more detail about long-term ease of execution and results with our dog, Griffin. But one thing I feel compelled to share now is this: throughout the entire day, even while Griffin was dramatically protesting (vocally, and with flair), Steve remained calm, steady, and completely unfazed. Griffin didn't love everything he was being asked to do, but he clearly adored Steve. He never cowered, never shut down, never showed fear. That level of trust speaks volumes. At one point, I asked Steve about scheduling an additional training day for one of our other dogs. His response was thoughtful, sensible, and deeply ethical: he told me it wouldn't be necessary. He explained that the principles I was learning with Griffin would absolutely apply to our other dogs as well, and that he'd be more than happy to answer questions along the way. That moment really matters to me because it so clearly reflects that Steve is driven by genuine passion and care for people and dogs, not by squeezing every possible dollar out of his clients. I also want to wholeheartedly acknowledge Tasha, who was incredibly kind, responsive, and compassionate throughout the scheduling process. We had to cancel our original training day due to a traumatic injury our other dog, Enzo, sustained: a spinal stroke. Tasha immediately offered to refund our deposit without hesitation. When I shared that I still very much wanted to work with Steve, she later went out of her way to find us an earlier date than originally offered after I asked to be notified of any cancellations. That level of care and humanity meant so much during a really difficult time. I am profoundly grateful for Steve and his entire team. This was one of the most positive, affirming, and empowering experiences I've ever had as a dog guardian. If you're looking for the best, congratulations. Our usual tricks with trying to redirect her attention or to stop the herding behavior (with the kids, we don't herd the kids, Lola!) were going unmatched and we knew we needed help. We started with in home private lessons with Rochelle. Some of what she taught us was a bit "duh" because we weren't thinking outside of the box, but also much of it was teaching us to be better dog owners, to tune into our dog and meet her where she was at. The 1:1 training was truly beneficial as Rochelle was able to come into our home and witness the behaviors we needed help with. Over the course of several weeks we became better dog owners and Lola learned lots of new things. We then transitioned to group classes with Rochelle which I admit the mere idea of stressed me out. Lola had never done well in public and was often triggered by too many (often random) things. But to my surprise Lola performed amazingly. She often lost her marbles about 30-40 mins into each group class but the other amount of time she was spot on and eager to learn. I am so proud that she was able to be handled by Rochelle on a few occasions and has become a confident dog who thrives in the outside social world. I will forever be grateful to Rochelle for teaching ME how to be a better dog owner and for showing me the potential Lola always had.

With just 2 at-home sessions with Rebecca and my dog, I learned so much about my dog's behaviors and how to work around them. The techniques that Rebecca taught were effective and personalized to my dog's needs. She was very observant of my dog and broke down the "why" behind my dog's behaviors. Additionally the questions Rebecca asked about my dog really proved to me that she really took the time to understand more about my dog's personality and quirks, and not just the behaviors my dog was exhibiting upfront. It was very helpful that we did the sessions at my home and around my neighborhood, where my dog normally exhibits the unwanted behaviors. Literally the next day after my 2nd session with Rebecca, I practiced the techniques I learned. For the first time in my dog's life, my dog was able to walk past multiple dogs without barking at them! I understand carrying out these techniques are not a one-and-done thing, but it goes to show how impactful Rebecca's guidance has been. I can't recommend Rebecca enough, even for people who might have older dogs.
