Mark by an aggressive dog 18 month old Presa Canario that weighs 140LBS. I know I'm still looking for a mark.

This is really getting ridiculous, since I yelped pet food express and exposed my negotiate experience at the fremont location and how they slandered my name too the San Leandro location after I had used their pet wash for approximately a month and a half without incident I might add. I get a call from Andrea Jensen stating because of the vicious and over aggressive 18 month old puppy, I can no longer visit any of the pet food express's. I know like I would use any of their locations after being treat like some maniac with a killer dog. Zero customer service after using the fremont store for over 10 years without incident. Once again hears the area that they now say my aggressive dog caused. Now it's no longer a bite lol.

    He had a rough time!

Longtime happy customer. I have always had a soft spot for Pet Food Express since my oldest daughter worked for corporate years ago and I seen first hand the caring nature and charity of this company. My husband has always said our dogs eat better than he does... The quality of all the products and food here is top notch. He doesn't know it so shhhhh the cats eat better than he does too. Lol. So today was my first foray into washing my dog in the self serve dog wash. Everything started off easy buy your token at the counter get towels they give you a collar in case you don't want yours getting wet. The wash comes with soap, but... my baby boy smelled like he was digging and rolling around in a skunk den! So I brought my own concoction... $15 was well worth it. They supplied the tools and towels and the stink washed down the drain... They have a chain attached to the wall at the tub and another one at the blow dry station... This is where it got hard for me, My baby boy thought we went to this new place to murder him! He HATED the wash part and howled and cried the whole time! He didn't mind the blow drying nearly as much. While no dogs were murdered there our station did look like a crime scene... I hope whoever has to clean up back there gets hazard pay! I looked around for a tip jar... Didn't see one! Next time it's a two man operation, My first time I didn't know he was gonna act like that. YIKES!! Service is incredible everyone is so helpful and friendly. And they know their products!

So sweet. Handwritten notes from a business are so rare!

Finding a good vet that is at a privately owned hospital has been a challenge and after reading their website and hearing good things from a couple of colleagues, I drove over an hour each way for appointments with each of my dogs. I saw Dr. Cauvel and was very impressed with his knowledge, he recognized it was better for me to handle my super excitable malinois vs have her go into the back for her vaccination, and most importantly, when I presented him with a more complex issue on one of my dogs and I presented my thoughts, he didn't treat me like my background was somehow a threat like I have experienced before. He went out of his way to review some information and photos I emailed after the appointment and we decided on what to try. I was really thrilled with my experience with this vet at this practice with both of my dogs, and despite the drive will definitely be coming back for future needs.

I strongly advise against trusting this clinic with any major surgery. I brought my rescue cat here…read morefor treatment of nose cancer, which they had already diagnosed as being present throughout his entire nose. Despite this, they completely ignored one side of his nose during treatment and committed multiple acts of severe professional negligence. 1. Failure to Follow Agreed Treatment Plan: I paid for and consulted on an aggressive, complete nose removal. The consulting veterinarian explicitly stated that the surgery "would be a waste" unless the entire nose was removed because leaving any cancer behind would cause it to return aggressively. Instead, a general practice surgeon--whom I was never permitted to speak with--made a unilateral mid-surgery decision to perform a minimal "scrape," leaving 2/3 of the tumor and visible cancerous bulbs intact. 2. Complete Violation of Informed Consent: If the surgeon did not feel capable or comfortable performing the agreed-upon nose removal once my cat was sedated, they had a strict medical and ethical obligation to call me from the operating room. By failing to contact me, they denied me my legal right to decline a substandard procedure, wake my cat up, and immediately transfer him to a qualified veterinary oncologist or specialist who could perform the surgery correctly. 3. Total Lack of Post-Operative Communication: When I picked up my cat after major surgery, the clinic provided absolutely zero communication or discharge instructions. I had to discover via text message that they failed to complete the agreed-upon service. They then falsely claimed the cancer was only on one side, directly contradicting their own previous diagnosis and what was clearly visible. Because of their failure to remove the tumor as promised, the cancer returned with extreme aggression. I had to euthanize my cat because this clinic robbed him of his only opportunity to receive a proper, complete surgery from a qualified professional. I have the full text message logs, emails, and images confirming this timeline. A formal complaint regarding this professional negligence and failure to obtain informed consent is being filed directly with the State Veterinary Board. Do not trust them with your animal's life. Response to owner : There is a fundamental difference between a "medically complex" adjustment and a complete change in surgical scope without owner consent. The explicit, documented purpose of Tom Tom's consultation was a complete nose removal. I was explicitly told by your staff that a partial removal or "minimal scrape" would not be effective given the aggressive nature of his cancer. Yet, while he was sedated, Dr. Eileen made the unilateral decision to pivot to a minimal scrape, leaving active cancerous bulbs behind, without ever calling me to get my informed consent. By failing to call me from the operating room, you denied me my legal right as a client to decline a sub-standard procedure. Had I been contacted, I would have immediately instructed the clinic to wake him up so I could transfer him to a qualified veterinary oncologist or specialist who was capable of performing the agreed-upon surgery. Furthermore, your clinic attempted to retain 100% of the funds for a complete nose removal until I forced accountability through a series of extensive emails. Your own text message records confirm that the surgeon only focused on one side of the nose, directly contradicting the agreed-upon treatment plan. This is a clear issue of professional negligence and a failure to obtain informed consent, not a misunderstanding of "expectations." I will not be having further private discussions with management to help cover up this clinic's lack of informed consent. The time for discussion was when Tom Tom was on the operating table. All further correspondence from me will be handled directly through the formal complaint I am filing with the State Veterinary Board.

The problem is that the packaging requirement was printed in faded fine print, and the aquarium packaging did not seem possible to open without cutting through and destroying it. I understand that stores have return policies, and I try to be very patient with customer service staff. However, this situation felt unreasonable because the requirement was not clearly communicated and the packaging itself made compliance impractical. What bothered me most was the manager's dismissive response when I tried to explain the situation. When I asked whether there was someone I could speak with about the details, she simply said, "I'm the only manager in the store," and as I stood there visibly surprised by how abruptly the conversation had gone, she then asked me to hold my receipt, without acknowledging my concern or offering any explanation beyond the packaging issue. I left feeling that the policy was applied in a rigid way and that my concern was not treated respectfully. I would caution other customers to inspect return requirements very carefully before opening aquarium products, because the packaging may be impossible to preserve. I used to visit this PetSmart, but now am very unlikely to return. That manager could have volunteer a number of different words that would have made the exchange much more respectful and empathetic - instead, it made me incredulous that someone with that attitude was the choice for a manager. ( I do have to say that whoever helped me with my aquarium selection a couple weeks prior in the fish department was EXTREMELY kind and helpful ) - I think that manager has something to learn from that employee. Perhaps they should swap jobs.

IF YOU CARE ABOUT THE WELLBEING OF YOUR PETS--WHICH I TREAT LIKE FAMILY--DO NOT COME HERE!!!…read more 1/5 stars all around. If I could give 0 stars, I absolutely would. I'm happy Haimz, the owner, took the opportunity to franchise Woof Gang, but ownership clearly isn't for her. She presents herself as nice, approachable, and friendly, but that exterior masks a pattern of empty promises and inconsistency. Running a business--especially one responsible for animals--requires accountability and follow-through. If she cannot be present, there should be a competent manager ensuring situations are handled properly. That is clearly not happening here. The most serious issue: my puppy was injured during grooming. Her groomer cut my dog's ear--something that is completely unacceptable in a professional setting. While she initially acknowledged the incident and attempted to help, her follow-through was nonexistent. We did go to the emergency vet and waited, but were told it would be over a 3+ hour wait, which is unacceptable when your pet is already in distress. We ultimately went to our regular vet the following day and paid for everything out of pocket. Beyond the physical injury, what's even more upsetting is the impact this has had on my puppy's mental wellbeing. Grooming is supposed to be a safe and positive experience, especially at a young age. Instead, this situation has likely created fear, hesitation, and anxiety around future grooming visits--something no pet owner should have to undo because of a business's negligence. We had to wait for her to heal, deal with the stress of the entire situation, and of course, we never returned. We immediately found another groomer. Despite being told she would "take care of it," nothing was ever done. No accountability. No resolution. Just more empty promises. If you value honesty, accountability, and most importantly the physical and emotional safety of your pets, take your business elsewhere.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS BUSINESS!!! TL;DR: if you have any issues, expect for there to be delays…read moreand empty promises. After having a great experience the first time, we were delighted to return our dog for another grooming. However, I had an extremely upsetting and frustrating experience that turned into a 4-month ordeal. On January 11, about an hour into my dog's appointment, I received a call saying the groomer had CUT my dog's ear and they were taking her to the emergency vet. That alone was terrifying. I ultimately chose to take her to our own vet the next day due to long emergency wait times. At the time, the groomer (Luna) was very remorseful, and the owner (Haimz) initially handled things appropriately. I get it, doodles are hard to groom especially when they have matting. They promised to reimburse the vet bills and finish the grooming free of charge. I sent the vet bill and was told reimbursement would come through insurance within 5-7 business days. By January 29, my dog was nearly healed but had gone into her cycle, so we had to delay grooming (completely understandable). However, I still had not received reimbursement, and Luna told me she had QUIT, which Haimz didn't even know about. By February 25 (over a month later) I still hadn't been reimbursed. The owner finally paid me out of pocket, which I appreciated, but it should not have taken that long. Then came the issue of finishing the grooming they had promised. My dog was left half groomed and ugly for 2 months. I reached out on March 4 and received no response. I followed up again on March 13, at which point I was suddenly told there was a medical emergency, and that they would be willing to pay for grooming elsewhere (up to Woof Gang's price). I scheduled grooming at Eagle Pet Grooming (and they didn't cut my dog) on March 15 and asked for reimbursement as discussed. At that point, Haimz told me she was in the ICU and would handle things upon discharge. While I absolutely sympathize with anyone going through medical challenges, the lack of transparency and inconsistent communication throughout this process was extremely frustrating. If you're unable to manage your business, there should be someone else handling customer commitments. On April 6, after my partner followed up again, we were told the delay was due to a "friend's chemo" and that payment would be sent in 1-2 days. Not to my surprise, no reimbursement was sent 2 days later and we had to call and ask her to send it that day. And it wasn't even at the listed salon price on their website. I was very patient, communicative, and understanding throughout this entire situation, but this dragged on for months over something that should have been handled promptly and professionally. It was never about the money, I just simply wanted them carry out what they said they were gonna do.
