We loved that she was taken in as a member of the family during her "boarding school," and they provided regular photos and updates on her progress throughout. Pebbles (blue heeler, 1.5 years old) would never listen to me, would not sit or lay still, and had a lot of other obedience issues that caused her to be stressed or confused. She was a TOUGH dog to train and I was concerned I couldn't find the solution for her to get basic concepts. This view has completely changed since working with RSK9's 3 week program. I would HIGHLY recommend them and their methods - you can tell they genuinely love working with dogs and it's made a huge difference in giving my dog the chance to find real rest at home. They send DAILY updates with photos and videos which was so nice. This isn't a regular class or something you just pay for; it's truly an investment that you and your dog will be using for the time you get to share together. Initially we checked out the Ridgeside Instagram account and then after contacting them for additional information we decided to sign Flossie up for the 3 week board & train program. We were given our trainer's contact info in case we had any questions or wanted additional info prior to the start date. Gina picked up Flossie and for the next three weeks we got pictures and videos every day of Flossie's training progress plus also information for us to learn about the training. All of this made the transition back home easy and seamless. Gina's instructions were clear and concise and she also made sure that we understood the hows and the whys of training. Since Flossie has been home Gina reached out to see how things were going and said she was available if we had any follow up questions. We are very happy with the outcome and feel the training really firmed up our loosey goosey training up to that point. Gina gave Flossie the foundational training she needed in order for us to meet our goals with Flossie and we couldn't be happier with the outcome.

I was so nervous to take our sweet pup Kip to a dog trainer, but I'm so glad we did. Kip has some fear aggression with men and after reading all of Bridget's reviews, I thought she ma be the perfect fit for Kip. Immediately upon arriving to our private session, she was calm and sweet with Kip. Within 15 minutes into the session, he was responding to commands from her such as sit, down and leave it! We had a two hour private session and I can honestly say I saw a huge difference in Kip just after the one session. He seems to have more confidence, is listening to my commands when he becomes nervous and seems happier! She only uses positive training methods...which was a must for us. She trains using treats, eye contact and positive reinforcement! We will be going back for her elementary manners class in a few weeks and I am sooo excited to see the progress Kip will continue to make! PART 2: (Owner of…read moreGretchen the Saint Bernard, if you're reading this: yes, she also yells at and punishes your sweet OLD dog for barking. Gretchen only barked because Gina was around and she didn't like her.) Also, they'll throw the dogs GETTING humped out of group instead of removing the humper. A number of times I had hyper dogs in group -- shepherds and huskies like Sierra (if Sierra's owner sees this, yes, she's also a hump victim they won't protect) -- that just wanted to zoom around and play. But because they don't know shit about dogs, they get mad at the DOG and remove it from group, sometimes trapping it inside in a crate during yard time. Multiple times they came to take dogs from my group and I told them I already had them under control, they were literally just speeding around and playing. But Gina gets mad when dogs bark and excite other dogs, so inside crate time it is. Also, just for the record, most of the good dog pictures on their site/social media were taken by me. Again, unprofessional as hell because she makes staff use their personal phones to take pictures for the business. Not all the dogs get their walks every day because there simply are not enough staff for that to even be possible. If your dog barks, best believe Gina is punishing them for it when she's there. They also give dogs weed/CBD drops without consulting owners because they want them quieter. The regular hourly staff are mostly good with dogs, but they all get fired arbitrarily -- or not even officially fired. They just get removed from the schedule out of nowhere and ghosted. Happened to at least four staff members while I was there. And the ones who didn't get ghost fired? Gina screamed and cussed them out until they quit. At LEAST two employees. The dogs love the regular come-and-go staff because most of them actually care about the dogs and are good with them. But I would NEVER trust my dogs left in the care of Connor or Gina. NEVER NEVER NEVER. And the rest of the staff could be fired literally any second for nothing. The owner is basically a spoiled rich little girl who used rich little girl money to open a kennel but has absolutely no idea how to run a business or properly care for dogs. She likes dogs because they're probably the only creatures capable of caring about her and because she can control them through abuse or paid trainers. But she hates dogs that don't like her. And all this is relatively recent. I wasn't even there THAT long and I still saw all of this. One more thing. Theyre not very careful about making sure the food and water bowls are all dry and clean of the bleach theyre washed in before feeding and watering dogs out of them. And when i was there and careful about they stopped me cause "it was wasting time and we dont have enough dishes to wait for those to be dry of bleach water."

One of our dogs even tried to bite Marvin upon our first visit. He never gave up on us. He never turned us away. He was straight forward and told us EXACTLY what we had to do to save our dogs. We followed the steps and everything has changed. Our dogs are PLAYING again. They enjoy each other again. If you listen to Marvin and put in the work things will change. Be aware that if your dog is aggressive he will not handle it. He gives us instructions and we follow said instructions. He always tells us if we're doing it incorrectly and what we need to fix. If you think he is being "mean" or stern understand that he is trying to save your dog. Putting your dog on sedatives for the rest of its life is a lot meaner than correcting unwanted behavior. Listen to Marvin. Put in the work. Follow the steps that he gives you EVEN if they don't make sense. Your life will change and so will your dogs.

Later, I heard a lot of stories about her business, how she treats her clients and doesn't deliver the service. Never use her services

We met my dog while still a puppy (3 months old), signed and fulfilled a purchase agreement contract of $19,000, and 2.5 years later was finally delivered a dog which was not house broken (repeatedly relieved herself within retail establishments, having been given ample opportunity to do so before entering) and who routinely nuzzled and lunged at strangers both within retail establishments and in outdoor public places. Each of these is an automatic disqualifier of a dog to be a Service Animal according to the ADA as well as pertinent Federal Code. Repeated contacts to the owner brought no resolution. Do not purchase a dog intended to be used as a Service Animal from this breeder / trainer.
