Your dog gets a little cubby for their leashes and spends the day with a supervised "pack" that seems mostly the same each week. They post photos every day to their Instagram and Facebook which is the highlight of my day. My only complaint is that the parking lot is a little small and can be hard to maneuver at peak hours. Worth it! Cooper absolutely loves going here! I haven't used their boarding but I plan to if we ever need it since it is cageless. Definitely recommended!

We lived in RI last year, and he LOVED, LOVED, LOVED going to Ruff Life 2x a week for daycare. I would get him in the car at 7am and say "we're going to camp" and he would stare out the window and pant the entire way there. Once there, he would drag me up the ramp and into the house. When I picked him up at the end of the day, all the dogs would bark out a goodbye, and while I knew he was glad to see me (and exhausted from all the fun), I also knew he would miss his pals until the next day. Sadly, I quit my job so camp needed to end, but if we ever wind up back in the area, he is going right back to Ruff Life. What I loved about it was that everyone there was really nice, greeted him by name each day with a hug, and he never smelled "doggie" at the end of the day, which many places smell like.

Upon arriving, she was met with a completely vacant building-- no signs, no one answering the phone, yet the door was wide open. Turns out they had a gas leak and had to evacuate-- understandable, these things happen. An appointment was made for the next day. The next day, after keeping my dog for 5 hours (again, understandable, they were likely backed up), I came in expecting an apology or some sort of discount-- none of which I received. When I mentioned that we drove 20 minutes only to find an empty place without so much as a phone call, the owner told me "well, I drive 35 min to work". Inconvenience aside, leaving the door open without any signage put my wife and any other clients who walked in that building that day at extreme risk. I noted this to the owner-- still nothing. Finally, he hands me the bill and it is not only full price, but 70% HIGHER!! Our neighbor's dog is 3x the size of ours and we paid the same-- ludicrous. Many of our neighbors were similarly mistreated. There are 4 of us who were loyal clients at the old location and willing to travel 20 minutes. In one fell swoop he lost us all. Evidently, this gentleman never learned that keeping clients is far more valuable than a quick payday. Avoid at all costs.

After reading reviews, I brought him in for a full grooming by Chris -- so easy to book on-line. I can't say enough. The place is welcoming and immaculate....and calm. Busy, loud grooming places are not ideal for my senior guy. Chris had him in and out in just under 2 hours (unheard of)) and he looks and smells better than ever. So happy we found Chris and Ruff Waters and will be back for regular groomings...Plus, great to know we can DIY if need be as well. Great business, great guy. A++++
