    We recently took our dogs to the pet hotel for the first time for an out of town trip which we were…read morehesitant to do in the first place but we couldn't find any family/friends available when we needed them. We chose to go with Petsmart as they were running a book 3 nights, get 1 free special at that ended on the first date of our reservation. When I called to confirm the reservation I asked if that deal would be honored since it ended on the first day of our reservation and the call center said that they weren't sure, but even if it wasn't first time customers get a free nights stay so it would've been the same price with either of the discounts. The call center also specifically made a note in the comments on the reservation about the specials. On checkout day we go to pay and the total is more than we were expecting and the store employee has no idea about either of the specials telling me that I need to check my emails for a coupon, but I had never been sent a coupon. The employee said there is nothing they can do despite my noting with the call center about both discounts. After paying and leaving, I call customer service and they are more than willing to connect me to the store to discuss the matter and work on getting me a refund for the missed discounts. Customer service connects me with the store pet hotel and the employee tells me that the store manager only honors discounts if you have a physical coupon or bar code and are able to show in person what you have. They kept repeating how unfortunate it is that I know about the discounts but that they can't do anything about the total. They are even specific to mention that they only honor the specials with a physical coupon/barcode because it can add up in cost to them if they honor it without it. That comment didn't help the situation as our bill was around $100 more than we were expecting to pay which we were hesitant to pay the cost with the discounts anyways. The store employee said she wasn't able to help me but that the store manager would call me the next day. I never received a phone call and have had no solution. A very disappointing interaction for a first time customer already hesitant to board their pets.

Different on a deeper level. I cannot express enough gratitude for the care and compassion we received at VEG Maple Grove. From the moment I reached out, I was met with immediate responsiveness, kindness, and zero judgment. My cat, Pico, was clearly in pain, and after explaining our situation, they brought him in right away and treated it with the seriousness and empathy it deserved. From the moment we arrived, Pico was met with calm professionalism, warmth, and genuine humanity. Every single person we encountered treated us with respect, dignity, and care during an incredibly stressful moment. There was no rushing, no pressure, no shaming -- just people doing their jobs with heart. The veterinary team took the time to truly listen, thoroughly assess Pico, and explain everything clearly and calmly. He was treated promptly and thoughtfully, and we left with a clear plan for care -- including medication and supportive resources that showed genuine concern for his comfort and recovery. What truly set this experience apart was how the staff treated Pico -- not just as a patient, but as family. They spoke to him kindly, praised him, comforted him, and offered gentle affection that he clearly welcomed. At one point he was actively snuggling into their arms, calm and trusting, and they met him right where he was with warmth and encouragement. Seeing him so at ease in an emergency setting said everything. As someone caring for an emotional support animal, the respect and understanding shown to both my pet and our circumstances meant more than I can put into words. Emergency veterinary care can often feel clinical or transactional. This experience was the opposite. VEG Maple Grove exemplifies what compassionate, patient-centered emergency care should look like. Because of them, Pico is resting comfortably tonight. I will always be grateful. Thank you to the entire VEG Maple Grove team for being exactly who you are.

    Update** The owner called me and was very helpful in trying to make me happy and to change some…read morethings on how they communicate then issue like this arise. He was able to refund the entire vet bill. Sometimes it's about the recovery. Thank you for helping me feel heard and not confused. This location offers supervised puppy day car for 4 hours one day a week. I was feeling ill so I needed a little nap. I called ahead of time asking what age puppies would be there as my puppy was only 3 months old. I was told 3 other puppies ages 4-5 months old. I felt ok with that so bright her in. When I picked her up I asked how she did and the staff worker told me she was being picked on. Knowing i was nervous about I (by calling ahead of time) maybe they should have called me. Anyway fast forward 2 days and we were at the vet getting her wound taken care of. She was hurt while in their care. She was put on 3 different medications and had her fur shaved. I realize it was my choice to bring her but I also expected them to take care of her. They have decided not to refund any of the vet visit. I am not asking for them to cover 100% of it but at least half. There is no way that my puppy did this to herself given the location on her back. We will not be back, to either location.

We tried another popular place for daycare in town and they don't even compare to Stone Mountain, not even close. I HIGHLY recommend the day care here; we have found it a blessing for us and Shelby.
