Wow...what's up with all the negative reviews here? I've only had good experiences here, including finding all kinds of cat food that my cat enjoys. My cat is 18 and elderly, and have trouble getting her to eat, and this store has alot of "soupy" kitty food that's nutritious and that my cat is able to lick up and eat. Currently she's a fan of the Soulistic and the Applause brand. Thank you so much for carring high quality cat food. My cat and I thank you!

Numerous toys that ended up not working out for my pet bought and returned. Today, I purchased cat food from this store only to learn when I got home that it was TWO YEARS expired. Avoid this store.

The picture is too blue but you can see the torn pedal disc on the anemone. The anemone is literally hanging the edge of the rock. Smh!

And I thought I found a good petco to source animals from. Employees does not care to handle animals properly. Maybe varies from employee to employee, the person who helps was somewhat nice and had knowledge in saltwater aquatics but I'm not sure how he handled and bagged the ritteri I purchased because I wasn't watching while he ripped it off the glass. After acclimating for 3-4 hours the ritteri anemone never inflated and was tore on the pedal disk at the bottom. lost $100 for nothing. It's not my first either and I'm not a newbie, I just wanted to add another ritteri to my existing ritteri tank only. But I guess some people are shady in the hobby and will do whatever they can to not let others keep what they want. It's just sad for petco to also own LiveAquaria now. I hope people like this does not also work at LiveAquaria because that's where I purchased all my duetted anemone from that are still alive a year later today from careful acclimating to my tank. Btw a couple days later I went back to purchase some more stuff. Not saying a word or even telling that same employee about anything. I purchase two corals. He had them in separate bags and decides to bag them in the same bag after looking at them for a few seconds. I didn't say anything but just watched because it's better to save it for a review how people at this petco can be to customers they feel like being an a-hole to. Of course the corals are alive but they were definitely releasing chemical warfare in the bag when I got home. Slime was floating in the bag like crazy.

My 3 stars are based on one visit and it stands for the fact that I got what I was looking for. On a slightly different note, I can add to the 'who will bell the cat?' impossible task. Such as, 'Who will bathe the cat?' OR 'Who will deal with the dead mouse the cat brings home?' OR 'Who will put a coat on the cat?' So, it was a coat I needed to buy for my soon-to-be-20 cat. She was seeking to become one with the radiators. Chuck and Don's told me that coat-makers don't make any for cats. Dogs are into the 'please my master' thing. Cats on the other hand are into the 'i'll keep you guessing' thing.. After searching through endless kinds of coats at the Petco store I settled on one that looked the least offensive. I made sure to ask if I could return it if it did not work. The coat I brought home did not fit and the cat was so dumbfounded that she did not even care to hiss at me. The next step was to measure her. Easier said than done. My husband and I managed to do it with our limbs intact. Went back to the store and by then the old stock had been replaced by new arrivals. I was relieved to not have to keep up with trends in dog coats ... The measurements narrowed down the choice to one coat that was fake gray suede outside and fake white fur inside. It had two smart looking tabs around the waist in case the dog/cat decided to trot on two legs and look like a human. Exchanging the old for the new was no problem. The coat has been used no more than 6 times. The cat becomes a statue whenever I put it on her and looks so wretched that the only compassionate thing to do is to take it off. I'm thinking Craigslist...

We had our Great Dane puppy trained by Ali as participants in the six week kindergarten class…read more We were very happy with the lessons given in class, and enjoyed having time to socialize our pup. This was my first puppy class experience but my husband's fourth (all different dogs), and the lessons and practices were very clear and consistent with the positive reinforcement methods my husband has used and seen used over the years. The format was interesting in that different dogs were at different stages due to the open enrollment nature of the class, but ultimately I don't feel that impacted the quality of the course, or added anymore distraction then your typical puppy course. The lessons were still communicated clearly and practiced in class with the expectation that the real training occurs out of the class through daily practice and routine. Overall once again we were very happy with the course and have already talked about if post-kindergarten training is needed, or even at-home 1-on-1 lessons we will be contacting Ali.

When asked what level of training she had her response was that her friend and boss Heather trained her. But because she talked a good talk I decided to give it a try. After all I was already in for over $100 for her to come and visit. My dog has serious separation anxiety and so Heidi said that she could help. A JOKE. She was playing kennel games with her. My dog has no issues with being in her kennel. But I went along with her suggestions. The last session I had with Heidi had me hiding food/treats around my house. My dog is a resource guarding kind of dog. She doesn't like it when my cat even comes near her dish This caused huge issue between the cat and the dog. Hiding treats around the house had my dog agitated with the cat coming anywhere near where treats had been hidden. Worse came to worse! These women have also been instrumental in taking my dog to a rescue that refuses to return my dog to me. Long story short....STAY AWAY AND STEER CLEAR OF THIS PLACE! Bad News and a total waste of money at the very least. I'm still fighting to get my ESA returned to me.

They don't do clicker training (as is touted on their website). The bootcamp consists of a lot of time in a crate. Our trainer was incredibly kind but often she was visibly stressed out and exhausted. Despite doing our assigned homework, our dog really never connected with the training. Each week is supposed to teach a new set of skills, before "dog walking week" even started, our trainer suggested we use a prong collar. I know many people use negative reinforcement in training, and that is their choice, but the whole reason we chose The Canine Coach is that their website repeatedly states they only use positive reinforcement. At the end of the 4 weeks, our dog hadn't really mastered any of the "12 reliable behaviors" that he didn't already know. Lastly, the additional in-home training was absolutely beyond unprofessional. The trainer showed up and was--for lack of better description--uninvested. When we asked for suggestions regarding our dog getting excited about squirrels during walks, his first and only suggestions were to use a prong collar or shock collar. He didn't ask what we had tried or anything, he just immediately went for "shock collar" because that's what he uses for his dog. Again, I understand that some people choose to use a shock collar or prong collar, but we deliberately chose The Canine Coach because they allegedly only use positive reinforcement. The trainer then half-heartedly did some recall practice before checking his phone repeatedly and then cutting our session short by 20 minutes. We haven't booked our second in-home training session. tl;dr No clicker training. Repeated suggested use of negative reinforcement. Sessions cut short. Dog didn't learn anything new.

Many are really made to optimize profit often at the expense of the dog and their well-being. This absolutely is not the case with fusion pet retreat. We were completely pleased with how our Daycare trial went for our two dogs. We got a great tour of the facility. It was very clean and notably. It was one of the few places where when you go into the back, the dogs in their kennels are not barking and crying or showing any signs of distress . Most of them were sleeping soundly in their respective areas. The manager was great. Answered all the questions and gave us a very thorough rundown of what to expect. Sion is very unique and that they do many different things to accommodate the specific personality of the dog. And it was very obvious that the people who work here understand dogs and enjoy them. It is an open play experience, but they do not have the dogs play all day every day, which is actually very good for them! They have them take breaks so they do not get over stimulated-which is unique to Fusion and highlights their knowledge of dogs. The place is huge and not at all crowded. They have several different areas for the dogs to play so that they can easily group them by play style. My one dog it's only eight months old and newer to this environment so he was a little timid. We got many videos and photos of him playing with other More timid dogs, and several staff members who slowly introduced him to the bigger area and he was very happy. We will use this place again it again without hesitation !
