They also post fun updates to social media and have tons of cameras so you can check in on your pup throughout the day if you choose. They have helped me out soooo many times including when I have been running late for the pick-up or reaching out for a late reservation or an add-on service. We loved the classroom style environment allowing our dogs to play & learn together. Each week we had an in person class as well as homework which we found helpful. This facility is the perfect size and spot to start your training journey. We went through all 3 levels of classes and loved it! In addition to this they also have a Facebook group where people share helpful tips, photos and ask great questions. They do not have a dedicated parking lot so you will have to park on the street. We had no issues with this. I also loved that they offer separate sessions you can sign up and pay for outside of the classes. We attended a few that allowed us to do group dog park visits as well as training in a public space. I would highly recommend GAD as a starting point and great people to learn from!

The complex is very large, modern and is located in such a pretty setting. Their rates are spectacular (Basic - $18/night boarding) - not only is it a better price that most places around us, but it also includes more. You can select a complimentary activity for your pet (nature walk, 1:1 personal attention etc) and additional services are very reasonable. Of course, leaving your pet for a while always makes us feel a little guilty (no matter where we were leaving him) - but when we turn the corner to head into Hidden Acres, Calvin truly perks up and can't wait to go "camp". I have no experience with their training and breeding, but I can only assume from the boarding services that they are top notch. I guess if my Golden doodle had a little more Golden and a little less poodle, we'd be more interested in more hunting training, but it's safe to say "This dog don't hunt". The location is probably not as convenient if you live far east or south of the cities, but if you don't mind the scenic drive up 94, it's well worth the drive.

We vetted several places before our trips, and each time our dogs stayed here, they came home happy, relaxed, and clearly well cared for. The staff is exceptional, genuinely kind, and attentive, which shows in every interaction. The facility itself is spacious, and we loved that they walk the dogs right at drop off to help them get acclimated and comfortable. During our recent holiday trip, our teenage son checked in on them, and the staff happily texted photos of the pups playing in the snow and having the time of their lives. Grooming was another highlight. Both dogs came home freshly trimmed, brushed, and looking fantastic. The only drawback is not having a live camera system to check in visually while you're away, which would add an extra layer of reassurance, though we fully trust they're in great hands. Overall, it's comforting to know our pets get a luxurious staycation when we're gone, and judging by their happy returns, they're just as spoiled there as they are at home. What can I say? Hidden Acres is truly PAWsome.
