This was our first visit here. That morning I arrived on time but unfortunately had misplaced my shot records and I understand that's the policy to have rabies vaccine proof. I was wondering if there was another way i could obtain the records. Which the groomer directed me u should be able to get it from petco, and i did within 10 mins. I honestly did not feel welcomed as the staff and owner barely spoke when I walked in. First thing the groomer said was my dog was big which the booking says if they are over 40 pounds my dog has a lot of hair but is only about 25 pounds so i was puzzled as to what that meant. The groomer stated she was matted and she didn't have time to brush her out so she would be shaved low i told her to do what she needed to do. She charged me 85 for med grooming and 25 for extra brushing which she shaved the dog but ok whatever. I'll give credit where it's due she did a pretty decent job shaving my dog down but etiquette for me is everything. Even as i was leaving after paying the bill the groomer barely said anything as I said thank you . No thanks for business nothing. Needless to say with all the reviews that was positive they couldn't have received the same response as I did being a new customer. Nevertheless I go elsewhere as I'm sure that's not the attitude with other customers. It's not what you say it's how you say it! I'll just say this is not the grooming place for my dog .

Doggie Paradise takes one dog at a time, so the stress of sitting in a cage with other dogs barking is non-existent!
