Our spa day began at the door where we were greeted by Rachel who knew both my babies by name on their very first visit Then off to the amazing Bekah and Justine that went out of their way with my Lil fur babies and when they were all done my handsome boy Rafi had his sweet puppy face again with his AMAZING haircut by Bekah and my miss kaleesi came out fluffy the way she's meant to and smelled so good I just kept hugging her!!!! I will never take my babies anywhere else! I have never really had a pet due to severe allergies/asthma. Found out about jumping spiders and decided I'd try that. Have gone into the store several times over the last few days and each time, I start coughing, wheezing, sneezing. Ollie doesn't care. In fact she told me, "None of that bothers me at all" and she will guide and direct me about this new thing I'm doing. She answers questions and has a knowledge base that is incredible. I've seen her interact with other customers and children. She's amazing with people and animals. Other employees will refer customers to her, because she's simply the best. Ollie is a treasure and deserves any accolades the store/company is willing to give her. Do not lose such a great asset. read more

I would not recommend. It was just an expensive blowout. Our dog was clean but the cut or lack there of was awful. Our dog had a landing strip down her nose, but nothing else was trimmed around her face. Instead I had to trim the chin, nose, and ears to eliminate mop face. No trimming occurred around her face! It took forever to get her groomed as well, even with an appointment! The tech hurt our dog while clipping her nails. I went to a different groomer and what a night and day difference! read more

My personal experience at the Greeley location has always been phenomenal; the staff and manager are always very helpful and knowledgeable about their products. Ollie has been there every single time I've gone in and was able to calm Me down once when I walked in frustrated with their app as well as their website; she was able to override the items that were actually in stock with the 10% online discount and extremely pleasant in doing so. Ollie is always outgoing when I've walked in to pick up additional items. She's always very cheerful and pleasant to interact with. Last night I walked in for My online order because of a similar app/website issue and Barb and Rachel were also very pleasant in assisting with overriding items that were listed as "not available" for an online order and as frustrating as it is to have to go into the store for curbside pickup and having to explain to the store staff/manager I've just had to get used to it. ‍ On that note this review is based on the store staff not the app nor their Petco website they both have their cat food/supply inventory totally off. It is My hope that this matter will be addressed and resolved soon; it's been an ongoing issue for 5+ years and with today's technology one would think that it would have already been resolved. I recently went into the store to look at their fish selection as it was highly recommended to me by a few friends who have aquariums. At first everything was great but I was helped by a lady named Becca. She was extremely condescending and while I appreciate they do not want people getting into fish that will outgrow tanks or with tank mates that do not fit, her professionalism severely lacks. She then told me how many tanks she has and bragged about knowing all about all the fish After I said I was still just looking, she proceeded to help people in a different area and I overheard her be extremely rude to them too stating the "had no idea what they were getting into, and that she was just "brutally honest' when it comes to preparing people." Again, while I can appreciate educating people on their new pets, there is a professional way to do it and then the way that Becca did it. I later overheard this same associate tell a coworker talking negatively about the customer. While the selection of fish is amazing and the tanks seem extremely well cared for, I do not know if I can support a business that allows associates to treat customers is such a manner. read more

Never take your pet here to be groomed. They might actually be worse than PetSmart. They don't do that great of a job to begin, with they take forever to get your dog done, and then they cancel at the very last minute because their one and only technician has 102° temperature. I didn't want to reschedule. I just turned around and walked out. Some idiot runs out behind you and slams the sliding glass doors together to get your attention, I guess. Super mature and honsetly... all it did was make me laugh. He stood at the door with his arms crossed scowling at me until I left the parking lot. I will never step foot in that store again and yes, I'm completely triggered right now. This is unprofessional and quite frankly, too unprofessional, considering that they do a crap job of grooming anyway. read more

I went in to purchase dog food for my fur babies. I have been going to this petco for about 3 years EVERY single month (I have two large dogs and we go through there food monthly). I went in today to purchase my normal dog food. I am not someone who can wear a mask for medical reasons. I have not had an issue going into this store without a mask EVER. Until today. The manager WAS very rude. They asked if I would wear a mask. I responded with no and stated HIPPA. This is something that I have done the ENTIRE pandemic. I do not have to share my medical justification for not wearing a mask and this experience was the first time that someone has become aggressive and rude. The manager asks me "do you even know what that means?". Yes, I know exactly what that means. It means that it is my right to not relay my private medical conditions/history to others. He became just downright nasty. I said I will spend my money elsewhere. And left. Never have I experienced just rude management. And it being over a year into this pandemic, it had never been this stores policy to enforce masks. And they had never become hostile towards me for not wearing one, up until today they had never said anything. Will not return. Also, Amazon is SIGNIFICANTLY cheaper. read more

If you buy anything expensive in this place don't expect to get your money back if it breaks. I purchased a large dog harness had it two weeks and when I was taking it off of my dog to give him a bath the buckle broke in my hand and now they are refusing to give me my money back because I didn't keep the receipts. Have a good day for me was give me a one 800 number to call and they also refused even though they have proof of purchase in their system. I don't know many people who keeps a receipt for a dog harness. read more

Ryan was awesome and helped us get a coat for my service dog. The lady that checked us out bragged about taking her PET in to Walmart, Target and a few other places that pets are NOT allowed. When I told her that what she was doing was illegal, she proceeded to tell me that the stores don't ask. The fact is whether or not she is verbally saying her dog is a service dog or not, she is implying JUST that! She is abusing the system and is in fact causing problems for handlers. I have been attacked at least twice with my service dog in a grocery store because of people like her thinking they can take their pets in to the grocery store and give that perception to other people that they can take their pets into places. This leads to service dogs having to be washed (taken out of work) because they end up with fear problems due to being attacked by pets that do not belong in the store. Her pet's name is Spencer and she seemed to think it was funny that the stores didn't ask or didn't remove her when asked. She flat-out admitted to telling customers that her dog is not a service dog when she was asked at the stores. Yet she still seems to think that it is okay to lie. read more
