My dogs tail hated it other times it was way better !
    Gladys V.

3 hrs of grooming despite how small the dog is how little bit need to cut, the price is outrageous and they have the nerve to put in the booking 67. They never do what one ask them to do and end up putting what ever excuse to justify it and not even calling the client to verify if they are okay with it and even worse they charge you like they did a style and put all these necessary expensive conditioners and shampoo ( they cut my dogs tail horribly and I know for a fact that Maltese or shitzu tails are suppose to be cut a certain way, they did it like I would of done it that I don't know nothing about grooming. They freaking seem that they charge me clippers and everything they used for my dog ! I thought I would give you guys another chance after I took him the last time, that they left him pink and no hair ! I was specific this time on what I wanted and wrote it down in the website when I booked but they did nothing that I said, I requested not to cut the ear length of fur and they still did it and looks he doesn't have ears at all how short it was cut. I am so done ! I am not ever taking nor no one in family is their dog there... I gargantee it ! You guys need to modify those prices .. they are disgusting ! My son has king Charles and a lot of hair and they charge half of what u guys charged me. And btw we need to see our dogs first before paying or giving a tip !

    This is after.

I asked for a trim. Showed reference pictures and everything. I specifically asked to keep the face as fluffy as possible but here we are. I am so upset. Hoping to keep others from making same mistake. She does smell great. So if you want to come here skip the cut and get a wash.

Neón tetra with Ich shown on fins

TLDR; Given fish that had ich that started dying within 24 hours of having them. Refunded for them after they fail to blame me for the deaths. Took dog for grooming but was turned away due to miscommunication from a desk lady with a buzz cut that was already rude over the phone. Won't be using Petco or Vital Care any longer. Very disappoint with the service I've received from Petco, and this spot specifically. First, I bought 6 neon tetras from them and within 24 hours 3 out of the 6 were dead because of ich. I was made to bring in a water sample of my own to make sure it wasn't "my fault" the fish died... this was interesting to me because you could see the white spots on the tails of the fish. While it was being tested the person told me that sometimes ich comes out of nowhere -- well not when there's a clear cause and effect. Of course found my water quality was perfect. I was then directed to treatments I can use for the REST of my fish since I had introduced them to my tank. Quite frankly I would give a parasitic and bacterial/fungal treatment with EACH FISH PURCHASE if you're going to sell sick fish. The least you can do is TRY to prevent the devastation. After this I did not buy anymore fish but I was still taking my dog using their Vetco Vital Care program. The lady over the phone was disrespectful from the start. She cut me off multiple times and then indicated I could bring my dog in before they started taking cats in. Turns out she wasn't clear about what time cats should be brought in. When I got there after 20 minutes of driving and my anxious dog shaking over the anticipation of the appointment, I was turned away because they were now only accepting cats. Next time, don't allow anyone to come in past 5:15p! For everyone else, cats only STARTING AT 5:30p, ABSOLUTELY NO DOGS AFTER THAT POINT EVEN IF THEY SAID YOU COULD COME IN. I don't know the rude lady's name, but she had a buzz cut. Long story short, I won't be using Petco or their services anymore. Very disappointed because they are accessible and easy to go to, but are no longer convenient due to their service.

This is not normal for guinea pigs to lay on their side!

Turns out she was kenneled most of the time. The boarding facilities are small and cramped. Terry uses this place as a puppy mill to make money breeding and showing dogs. The boarding and doggy day care are only to earn money for that. Our dog got into a skirmish with another dog on the way into the boarding facility the other day which was quickly extinguished and no dogs were actually hurt and when we came to pick her up she had been put into a run by herself and her collar was ripped into two pieces. Were were told she was no longer welcome at her facility. As an owner and breeder of Aussies she should know these dogs are high strung and talkative. Our girl was excited to be going to camp. It ONLY WORKS if you continue the work after…read more Having said that - I have nothing but amazing things to say about Doggone Fit and their staff. They are caring and professional. They get to really know your dog and set up a plan according to their behavioral needs. It is not a "one size fits all" training method as different dogs require different experiences with training. We are experienced German Shepherd owners, but we adopted a 9 month old Shepherd who had no previous training and was traumatized by the sudden death of her previous owner. She was nervous and insecure. She needed more than what we could give her. In comes Doggone Fit. Our trainer Richie fell in love with Leia and she him. We did the 2 week board and train and it was worth EVERY penny of the $2K+ we spent. Leia needed to learn some boundaries and build some confidence. She came home loving the tools and structure she learned. **And I will say it again** - YOU NEED to continue with the training. Your dog will come home improved and will have learned the tools, but unless you continue with the protocol your dog will backslide. We have stuck with Doggon Fit's protocol and Leia is thriving. We even boarded her for the first time with Richie and she was in heaven. It was like summer camp for her. Richie sent us daily updates and photos and we felt so good knowing she was having fun and in the hands of someone who cared for her and obviously knew her training needs. Here's a picture of our happy, confident girl now. She has come so incredibly far. If it wasn't for Doggone Fit we probably would have continued to struggle with meeting her specific needs. She loves the work she learned there and we continue with it daily. It gives her the confidence and structure she (and many dogs) need.

We initially worked with Richie for an introduction to training, which was tremendously helpful. We then worked with Joe Langlois, who was excellent with initial training and weekly adventure hikes for our pup. He spent so much time getting to know our pup to make sure he could bond and effectively work with him. He also took a tremendous amount of time to listen and explain everything including tips to help with our pup's anxieties, which have been an invaluable help. We loved having our high energy dog participate in the adventure hikes and seeing all the adorable photos Joe would very actively post after almost every walk. He obviously loves dogs and really cares about giving them exercise, fun, and training. Also he has rescued all of his dogs, a good marker of how much he cares about dogs in general. My point is, that it's impossible to watch a baby grow and learn but not get attached. So needless to say, when I was struggling I made sure I did my research before sending her ANYWHERE!!! I would text these ladies at probably the most random times asking questions as I thought of them, and they always got back to me. I liked how upfront they were-- very transparent! They were super patient with me! The drop off: When I met with Hilary at Beaver Brook Park, I was literally shaking and teary eyed. Lucy has been such an important part of my life, how could I hand her over to strangers?! Here's how... She let me take a photo of her license, she assured me that I would get updates daily, and basically put my mind at ease the best she could. Driving away broke my heart but I knew this would be a great experience for Lucy! ***The training: I received pictures, videos, phone calls, she always kept me in the loop!! I will admit, it was so heartwarming to see all the cool places Lucy got to explore. Any issues were shared with me and they handled it all better than i could've asked for. Nicole and Hilary-- you can just tell that they are SO loving towards animals. Especially with the pictures, Lucy would hug their arm and you could just see that she was safe, felt happy, and was having fun! ***The pickup: Lucy was ready and finished a day early, so I headed back to Beaver Brook Park! Pickup was about an hour long, they went over her two weeks, what she learned, how to continue the training.. all the do's and dont's! They were again, very patient with me. ***The results!!!!!: I cannot thank them enough. Everywhere I go with Lucy, I get so many compliments! Now that Lucy is a service dog, I've challenged her with restaurants, multiple stores, and talking to strangers in stores. She gets better and better every single day-- which impresses the heck out of me because I thought she did great the first time! Restaurants, she goes right under the table and just watches what's going on, or she'll even take a nap! My heart is just beaming!!! I am SO proud of my girl. I hated not having her home, but I can honestly say, I never imagined that she would be so well behaved and such a great service dog. I recommend these trainers to anyone and everyone who loves their dog and is looking for a safe happy and FUN experience for them to learn!

We had tried a couple of different programs, made some progress but frankly we just didn't have the time required to dedicate using traditional reward based training. The final straw was when the dogs got off leash and just bolted. We could not recall them and thought we were going to lose them. After doing some research and calling references, we made a decision to send our dogs to Giacomo at Off Leash K9 Training. Giacomo kept us updated during the entire process. The progress was amazing; they soon were following several commands: sit, down, off, leave it, come, place and heel both on an off leash and all the work fully guaranteed. There are not a lot of board and train programs around the area, fewer that offer off leash training and none I found that guarantee their work. While your dog(s) will come back markedly improved, you should expect that when you get your dog(s) back, you will need to continue to work with your dog(s). We still continue to practice and re-enforce their training and they still need work but are light years ahead of where they were. We take them pretty much everywhere we go, grocery, building supply stores, department stores and the coffee shop. Would not have thought about taking them anywhere prior to their training. Giacomo is a great guy and loves what he does. The training and the experience is worth every penny! The most challenging part was not having the dogs for two weeks.
