Their home is very inviting and there is lots of room to run and play in the fenced backyard. While on my trip I received photos of my dog via email and when I picked her up she was happy and non stressed at all - something I always had to deal with in the past when taking her to traditional kennels. Cora would make an amazing dog for anyone without kids, not wanting kids and absolutely no pets. None. Issue 1: I was told it was $150 on the phone. At time of adoption I was told $300. My paperwork was clearly sitting in eye view and said $150. After pointing out I was told it was $150 I was charged $150. Issue 2: Our 10 minute dog meet and greet, 10 minutes...(Cora and our dog went well enough, one lunge incident that we thought was playful, damn were we wrong). Issue 3: During the 2 minute sign here, initial all these spots. I didn't even think about this but....if they give and offer 6 weeks free professional classes offered for "reactivity" why haven't they given Cora this class on there own? Issue 4: No where in Cora's profile did it state: -She food guards... -She toy guards... (Paperwork from prior surrender stated this.) -She even crate guards... --- in home our dog couldn't even walk near the crate while she's in it. Snarled, shows teeth, growls, barks, side eyes, snaps at air, lunges. -Shes biten multiple (not 1) young children according to the documents. They're not important things for them to test or disclose up front.*** Issue 5: this baby lost weight in the care of CRHS... She's probably hangry. I clearly just thought, She'll put that back on at my home and dismissed it. Issue 6: only discovered today a week after this review originally posted but this CRHS has a facebook post about Cora that says absolutely NO dogs. This bit of information, I most certainly know they most certainly indeed did steal my money and knew it. *1 Star review because* -The above undisclosed information. -They will not refund (contract) and/or would not pick up Cora and consider my money a donation covering Cora's adoption fees. Mara has taken care of my cats for me when I've been on vacation or gone for a long weekend. NOT AN EXCUSE to hit my dog, yell at her, and violently hold her neck and face in which Dee did. I tried to tell this women to stop after about 5 minutes of her struggling to clip my dogs nails and i've never seen my girl so scared in her life. Dee would not let me leave with my dog. She Continued to fight my dog, opened a cabinet to find a string to tie my dogs mouth shut. The string wouldn't stay so she proceeded to try and make this string as tight as she possibly could and it was visibly hurting my dog. She then tried to make some contraption to wrap my dogs mouth closed and attempted to tie it around her head the second time. I stopped her and tried to take it off. I then asked her again to please stop and I will just pay her for trying because I just wanted to leave and I could not handle watching this shit go down with my dog. She proceeds to explain (in a not so friendly tone) that if I keep babying my dog and telling her to calm down saying "it's okay" she will never learn. Then started babbling on about how if she can't stay still here then a vet will have to do it and put her under in order to get something like this done. This Dee women is scary. She kept trying to cut my dogs nails after me telling her twice to stop at this point. Both times i'm clearly holding back tears as i'm watching this lunatic hit my dog in the face and basically choke her. I get it, I could've just grabbed my dog and walked out but this women is scary and weird as fuck. No words can ever describe what I watched my dog go through and how this lady treats animals. I wish I had video proof of what the fuck happened because she should not be able to keep her business up and running. I paid this lady out of fear and both me and my dog got out of that place as fast as we could.

The cut was exactly what we asked for, her nails were trimmed well, even got a pretty little bow. You can tell the lady loves dogs and takes pride in her work. She was talking to Zoey, petting her, and trying to make sure wasn't to anxious which made it easier to leave her there. Zoey was definently in good hands. I can't recommend Dee's enough. We will for sure be repeat customers.

I tried to take the soap back, without receipt and didn't purchase it on my rewards account, I received very poor customer service by the new cashier Mandy, she wasn't knowledgeable on ways to find a rewards account, and then told me "I don't even think we sell this here" when I only shop at petco. I asked her, do you know everything that is in this store? She says no I've only been here for a week. Ok so new employee. Then the manner Jessie walks over to "help" and he just seems like he does not like working at this place at all. Just a horrible experience at this store.
