Stay far away! I wish we'd been warned! We brought our dog there for the first time since moving to the area today. In the initial paperwork, I noted that he can be anxious with new people and told the people at the desk. Anxious in the past means reluctant to go with new people and generally being timid and scared until they show they're safe. He was put in a kennel until they were ready (understandable, and our dog has done that at other groomers without issue), but when he wouldn't come out, the response was to slip a dog catcher stick around his neck, as if that would coax him out! Of course no dog likes being choked out, so he went to the bathroom on himself. They called for us to pick him up and he was cowering in a corner and couldn't wait to get out of the store. I heard the guy say he had a very full schedule, so maybe they were just trying to rush him out or something. But how on earth is that even an option? If he refuses to come out, fine but how can you justify "coaxing" a terrified dog out with a choke stick? If I'd known that was apparently standard practice, I would have never entrusted them with our dog in the first place. I hate to leave a negative review and have never done so before, but for the sake of other dogs, here's a warning! read more

im not sure who to contact in regards to this issue ; i have called and made the manager aware of the situation but .. i dont think the conversation went anywhere. for the past two weeks i have been watching the decline in health of the two ferrets they have for adoption in store. One is ill, has leaky eyes and has no energy. the cage is disgusting, feces lining the bottom. there are no toys.. overall it just is a sad situation and the employees or manager do not seem to care. trying to find someone to call to help them? read more

So I would say for buying items for you pet this is a great place!but as for buying Animal from them i wouldn't recommend at all!!They sell sick animals & when wanting to be reimbursed the money for the sick animal they feel like they aren't responsible!! I bought A bearded dragon on Saturday April 26th!when I got h ik m he looked a little lethargic & wasn't moving a while lot in the small container I was given for him..I figured it was close to closing so he must be on the stores t ik me an just asleep. Well I get him home put him in his Tank an let him get used to his new home..the nezr day I wake up & he's still laying km the same spot I had left him in the night before!i tried to feed him an he just slept an didnt want any part of it..so i glad figured he needed time to adjust.so I let him be..Monday I tried to feed him again an nothing!so I called my vet an they said they would see him Tuesday..for now try to syringe feed him baby food!!He ate very little but it was more then he had been..fast forward to Tuesday 4/28 I took him to the vet & they basically told me that he was malnourished & super young!!That he probably shouldn't have been sold!! SO he is now on a baby food diet until he his strong enough to eat on his own!This also happened to a friend of mine who purchased a ferret from them!the ferret was very sick after she got him home!!she nursed him back to health an he's all better now!!if you're going to sell animals they need to be taking care of as if they are your own pet!!an if this is the way that the people ag psp tewat their pets well then they dont neednto be in the pet business!!I called for my money considering 2 days after getting the animal from their "care" I had to bring it to the vet because of their negligence & their inexperience with pet care!!They are also very unprofessional the manager wouldn't even speak to me on the phone!they kept going back an fourth with the associate who was nice be sounded like he didn't know how to handle the situation.in which the manager shouldn't took over but clearly he/she isn't very neighborly!!Definitely not my favorite neighborhood pet store. read more

I could give a -0 for service I would. For 1.their fish tank always but always have 10+ Dead fishes in the tank at a time Gold fishes eating other dead fishes. 2. Every time I ask for crickets I always get this lady sue with an attitude that never give the right amount. Then when I told the manager he just gave the bag of crickets to another employee didn't look at the bag or asked what's the problem. Several months ago I asked an employee to look up my purchase history to see if I was near the "buy 10 get 1 free" and they only had 3 months of receipts on file. I had recently stopped using my ex's phone number and started using my own, so that makes sense, and I was assured I didn't need to keep track of my purchases because they would be available in the computer. Today I walked in to buy dog food and I asked the employee, an older woman, the same thing. She took one look at me and gave me attitude, told me if I didn't have the app and hadn't filled out an application I wouldn't get a free bag. Willing to do that, I just asked her to look up my purchase history anyway and she argued with me, tried to lord over me that she had been working there 5 years (like I care?) and that there was no way I was getting a free bag today. Would you please just look it up anyway? She rolled her eyes and did an exaggerated sigh and looked it up... only 3 months. I said, where's the rest of the year? I've been buying my dog's food there every month for the past 2 years and I haven't gotten my free bag yet. She told me they only keep 3 months back. That's not what I was told by the other employee several months ago. I asked to speak to the manager, who was helping another customer behind her. The manager, a young woman named Erin with droopy, sleepy looking eyes, also immediately gave me attitude. There was no attempt to apologize for any confusion or offer any bit of sympathy, both of them were locked and loaded for an argument and pretty self-righteous about putting me in my place - neither were interested in understanding my position, giving good customer service, or caring at all about my loyalty. I bought the bag of food today, but I let them know I won't be shopping there anymore. Amazon will deliver the same dog food, cat food and litter I bought there for the same price. I was just trying to support a local business. And yes, I was rude to them after they were rude to me. Not in the mood for petty corporate-policy simping from low wage employees. Pet supplies plus likes to change their policies and procedures, doesn't train employees to give correct information (which sets incorrect customer expectations), makes no apologies for the confusion they sow, and doesn't keep records of purchases so that nobody can ever prove that they have earned their "buy 10 get 1 free" promotion unless they save receipts for a year (who does that?). It's a scam. I hope they go out of business and those employees have to find new jobs. read more

Amazing team!! The team at pet supply plus was not only helpful in helping my find the right brand of food to feed both my young pitbull mix but also my soon to be senior old English sheep dog the right food to satisfy both their needs. The staff was so knowledgeable and kind! I also had my old English sheep dog groomed here, and she came out beautiful and shaved just the way I like her for the summer! The groomers put up with her sensitivities surrounding her feet, dealt with her matts and delicate skin with aplomb! read more

I used the online ordering system and curbside pickup. The website is easy to navigate and they have a nice selection of treats that our dogs really enjoy. If you sign up for their Pet Supplies Plus membership (it's free), they send discount coupons on a pretty regular basis. And now in theses times of a Covid, the curbside pickup is a great service. read more

I would rate a big fat zero if I could. I purchased bulk pig ears from this store several times, the last time being early May 2019. In early July I received an email about a recall. I contacted the FDA and also Pet Supplies Plus corporate. The FDA tested some of the ears I have left over and they tested positive for salmonella. I would like to know if anyone else has seen illness in their pups due to these pig ears. Corporate is dragging their feet after I sent them copies of the Vet bills. Anybody have any contact with them? read more

We took our older, blind dog in for grooming today. Liz was terrific! Monte has never looked this good. He was calm and happy when we picked him up and Liz kept us informed throughout the process. There was a small issue with the appointment that we first made due to an electrical problem. Liz worked with us to get a convenient time for the grooming and was very gracious throughout. The other employees at this store have all be wonderful too, friendly, courteous, and very helpful. I would recommend this store for all your pet needs without hesitation! I will be taking Monte and our other dog to this store for their grooming from now on! read more

Katrina was fabulous. I don't remember who the groomer is now but, our girl came home with an uneven cut. I have her clipped short so the only detail work is on her face. It was not the same on both sides. She had some long hairs left under one eye in one area and long on the other side in a different area. I won't be taking my girls back. read more

I bring my dog here to get groomed about once a month and each time he looks great! He also loves going and you can tell his groomer, Kat, is so sweet to him while he's getting bathed and clipped. I know for a fact he hates baths, but somehow she manages to keep him so happy when he's there. I request her every time and she always does a fantastic job! The store also special orders a specific variety of Blue Buffalo dog food for me each month and I am charged the same price I would pay at a retailer that regularly stocks it.
