I completed an online order for pickup. I'm looking at the completed order on the website. The charge went through on my credit card. But the store said the order didn't go through on their side. The first person I spoke to actually giggled when they said it happens a lot and there's nothing they can do about it. The store manager said I have to chase down customer support myself to see if I can get my merchandise or a refund. Since this is a known, common problem, the company should suspend online ordering until they fix it. read more

The last 3 times I went to the Crystal location to wash my dog, there was a poorly trained pit bull in one of the two stalls. A different owner and a different dog every time. All three owners were open about the fact that their dog wanted to bite. They have no rules at their dog wash. Bad owners think this is the place they can wash their aggressive dogs. read more

This is the worst pet store ever. Me and my 21 year old son went to buy a new pet for my 12 year olds birthday. I had a lot of money to buy a pet. The they/them was who helped us was so rude. She said we would have to come back in a week to buy 2 Guinea pigs, they were related. Fine , I'll pay for everything and come back. She said no. It doesn't work like that??? We considered a lizard, she talked us out of that. So I was like fine, just sell me 2 feeder goldfish, I already have a tank. She legit said no. ( I would have to buy a bigger tank first) We have well taken care of pets, this was insane. I will never go back, drive to Brooklyn park or Richfield. I can raise humans. But not 12 cent fish? I LOVE this store . I placed my first on line Oder today because of a 20 % off coupon I received and I knew I couldn't get a ride to the store to use it. The order came within 2 hours . This store is terrible, they have to many untrained employees..the lady wouldn't sell me a fish,a african cichlid because I wouldn't buy a heater from there store....she needed to make sure the fish would be safe... if any thing she said the fish needed to be in 82 degree temperature . so I went home ,went on line check it out.... The livable temperature is 74 degree room temperature... all because I would buy a heater from the her store or because I was a person of color... she asked me to leave the store because I questioning to understand stand reasoning why I had to buy a heater frome her store....I could of went to petco to get a heater but she said no .... read more

I always go to this store for my leopard geckos and African Dwarf Frog and all their supplies! The employees are so nice, and educated. They take care of the animals and aquatic life very well. They ask extensive questions with the adoption process, thus making sure all the animals and fish go to responsible people, who will spoil them as they deserve! I am a regular here, and can say the employees are so nice and do the most! Took a dog in here, it crapped on the floor and even after offering to clean it up for them they were happy to help! read more

My experience: Feeder fish : I went here base off my brothers saying their feeder fish are very cheap. The store isn't that big and the fish section is that of Walmart or a tiny bit bigger. Sure their stuffs maybe cheap, BUT it comes at a price, most of their fish have some sort of illness , death in the tank, or other issues. I look at the tank with what I consider better then the rest, pick out 50 feeder gold fish, and 5 larger feeder gold fish. My wolf fish ate 4, and it's the first time I saw it regurgitate them back out (had the wolf fish for 6 months ) , after that , he wouldn't take ANY gold fish.. for almost 2 weeks straight! I had fed him gold fish from petsmart and Petco and within those 6 months , never had ANY issues of him not wanting to eat them. Of the two other store , Petco does come in first , but they can be on the pricey end. Within the next day and every day after that they all started dying left and right loosing like 5-7 a day A total waste of money and a fish scare, I will NEVER go back there EVERY again ! read more

It's a privately owned, kind hearted, and wonderful small business that LOVES your pets and their customers and does everything to satisfy and make the life and health of our pets easy. They have a delightful selection of pet food, toys, and treats and all are from reputable and quality manufacturers. Can't pick up / no probs they'll deliver! Forget Walmart, Target, Amazon, and Chewy.Com and buy local and buy from here! They also have a fantastic loyalty program and they often put great coupons in the local community circulars. Okay, let me start by saying I was a little hesitant to try this place at first. Chuck & Dons is usually my go to, but they stopped carrying my dogs's food in stock and switched it over to special order. My dog has some allergies and it's tough to find some high quality brands with limited ingredients at certain stores. Not only did Pet Supplies Plus carry our pup's brand of food, but it was less expensive! The best thing about this place is that they have a self service dog wash station. They have everything right there and ready to give your dog a bath without having to worry about the clean up. It's $25 for a punch card that's good for 5 washes. What a deal! The staff is super friendly and always willing to help with questions or offer suggestions. read more
