Well: pet supplies are certainly in abundance here. There are also pets for sale: mostly fish, birds and reptiles. Now and again they have puppies and/or kittens up for adoption. When one considers that the Humane Society is right across NE Coachman from this place...I'll adopt our next furry four-legged critter from there. The clinic in the back doesn't really bespeak confidence in their ability to groom dogs or cats. Since we don't take our kitty here for anything, I'll defer. Not exactly the best kept or organized store, but it does sell huge buckets and bags of litter for a reasonable amount. All the rest of their "supplies" are just as easy to get via Chewy. read more

The manager was extremely rude, condescending & nasty, all stemming from this store & Miranda's mistakes. Miranda was extremely unprofessional & her behavior is terrible as a "manager". Whole $50 bag of food mysteriously never received. Had I not checked my receipt, this store would have never said anything & kept the money for the bag of food never received. After finding their mistake, we were told to come in to receive the food. We tried and were only given 7lb, not the 15lb ordered. Another mistake from this store. Again, they said nothing & never found their mistake. Again, I called the store & spoke with the manager Miranda. She told me I was only charged for one 7lb bag. After hanging up, I checked me receipt & card charged, in fact I had been charged for 15lbs, not 7lbs, as she confidently reassured. I called back immediately and spoke with a man who told me I would receive a credit to my card for the remainder in 3-5 business days, and to call back if it wasn't. I waited another week patiently, to no refund. Again I called another time in this 3 week span of mistakes all due to this location. I spoke to Miranda, again. She was extremely disrespectful and condescending, speaking over me & being rude. I shopped here for years, spending ample amounts of money. Unfortunately, solely due to Miranda, I will never return. This location just lost a great amount of business. At least two other people are not returning also due to this. Miranda also made the same mistake with one of their orders & they still have not received any credit for their billing mistake. Find a new manager that actually values their customers & has a professional attitude. Alex & Charlie are absolutely delightful & I have always had a wonderful experience with them. We were greeted by a friendly and knowledgeable staff member. We love all the pet food options available especially the frozen raw. It's great to see more and more pet owners are trying learn more about good nutrition for their pets. I remember when I was younger we bought dried kibble for our cats and dogs based on commercials. I'm glad my mom insisted we give our pets all the appropriate leftovers from the table. Fresh, FDA certified human food not sprayed with chemicals is what all animals need to thrive and not just survive. read more

The staff greeted me when I came in and was helpful when I was looking for a chew toy that would work for my dog who quickly chews through most toys. I loved that I could book my grooming appointment through the website. The groomer, Gwen, took notes when I had some very specific information to share about my dogs grooming. I was taking my dogs to this place for some time for grooming. Long story short, I do NOT recommend this place for grooming!! Their customer service is terrible. The managers do nothing to help if there is a conflict. They have a revolving door of "groomers", who imo have no experience, or business grooming. My dog got cut, and injured on his inner thigh, one time while being groomed there. They had to rush him over to the vet. Completely overwhelming situation, to say the least!They are disorganized, distracted, and unprofessional. They never answer the phone, and you're left waiting for the return call. They are always understaffed. I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt, and remained a loyal customer despite. It got to a point I felt very undervalued, as a long standing paying client. You are much better off going somewhere where they know how to treat customers, and know how to better care for your pets. read more

NEVER RETURNING! This is where I always got my dogs treats because of the great variety and brands you don't see at PetSmart or Petco, plus support local business is important for the community. However a couple of days ago I went in to get my dogs treats and a worker came up to try and check me out and he was holding a snake in his hand. I am terrified of snakes so my immediate reaction was to walk away so I practically ran back down the isle. My roommate said to the guy that I was afraid of snakes and that's when the worker proceeded to make fun of me for being afraid and announced it to everyone who was coming in that there was a guy afraid of the snake. Was I composed myself I tried going to the front but saw that the same guy was at the register checking out holding the snake in one of his hand, so I was not going to go check out. I just dropped the stuff off and left and I'm never coming back. I understand you love snakes and they're pets and whatnot but a lot of people are not fans of them and it clearly shows a lack of regards for the customer by making fun of their fear and then not even getting someone else or putting the animal down while I was trying to support your store by coming here. Going back to PetSmart and sticking to franchise. read more

There was some personnel changes and it went down hill. some friends of mine who also frequented the store were treated badly.My sister will no longer shop there as well. I decided to stop shopping there also. I recently decided to give it another try, big mistake, never again. I will drive out of my way once again to another establishment. Nice variety of pet food and overall supplies. Prices are average. They do have some good sales. We have been going here since 2019. The store has significantly seen a LARGE turnover on staff. With that turnover (somewhat weekly now) comes employees who are not knowledgeable on the products or animal needs for that matter and slower service. The bathing area is fair - the dryers are broken. I hope that the owners look to provide more consistent knowledgeable staff. Can not comment on the grooming area but they do seem to be busy. read more

I started shopping at pet supplies plus in Clearwater because they have a lot of great coupons and discounts several times a month and my dog food is quite expensive so every penny I can save adds up. I recently got a coupon for 15% off so I ordered and was going to have it delivered through normal shipping and they actually have a delivery for free service. I ordered around 3 PM and I actually received my order the same day before 8 PM! That is fantastic service! It wasn't supposed to be delivered till the next day since I missed the cut off for same day. The dog bathing area makes it SO much easier bathing both of my large dogs and i don't have to clean the shower when i am done!
