I was charged for de-matting. What exactly was done? Why shave her? I rescued her from a breeder and she was shaved but NOT like she is now. I cried. I've had her groomed before & decided to try Petco because it's closer to me and because it was recommended to me. She was a fluffy cute dog and now she's, not even sure how to describe her Never again!!!! I saw Brittney on my out of the store and I told her how unhappy I was. Her response was "I told you I had to shave her". I think she went overboard. It really is hard to put into words how upset and disappointed I am with the whole experience.

My experience with the rescue was great as they took care of the details and we had no issues. Sunny may have been a senior, but she had so much love to give and I felt lucky to have her in my life right up to her last minute. A lot of people don't understand how hard the people work and care for the animals at a rescue, not to mention many rescues run on only volunteers! I mention this because Sunny had great care and love before I found her at SAL, so thank you to anyone who helped her get to me!

This time, I was very specific to get an appointment that he would not be waiting too long. Dropped him off at 2:15 for 2:30 appointment. At 5:00 I was told he still needed to be groomed (trimmed). In the mean time I heard him barking nonstop. They finally called me back at 5:45. Yea he looks great, but no reason to subject an 8 year old, 116 pond Goldendoodle to this stress.

You have to search hard to find an employee to help you find an item and when you do find an employee they behave like they really don't want to be there. The employees have no customer service characteristics at all. I just get a blank stare and no personality whatsoever like they are all on the spectrum. I needed to find a specific dry dog food and it was hidden behind all this other dog food, totally unorganized! On occasion they are out of stock of an item or I can't find it and struggle to find an employee to help me. The most recent incident I had was paying $149.00 for dog training sessions, the cashier gave me a starting date, I arrived with my dog and told the class is full. WHAT? Why was I not notified with a courtesy call and given a rescheduling date? Once again, poor customer service and an unorganized store! My guess is Petsmart pays low wages, therefore employees have low moral and very poor training. On a more positive note, there is one lady cashier who is really pleasant and helpful. Corporate needs to step up and smarten up and live up to their name Petsmart!
