My dog and her favorite toy she found at the store
Christopher S.

The staff at Natural Pet are amazing and very informative! I wanted to start the raw food diet with my "puppy" who's 12 now, and I didn't know where to begin. One worker there spoke with me and gave me all of her recommendations and the reasons for her choices. The food is reasonably priced, and my dog loves it! She's back to her youthful self, and the coat on her fur is soooo shiny! They even recommended a great toy for my pup, and she's been all over it since. They also have great treats and toppings for my fur baby. I will be going back as long as I live in the area.

I love this store! Super friendly, animal/loving staff and management. I'm a dog lover so I can only speak to their selection for canines, but their food (canned and dry) is a variety of great brands and they are knowledgeable and helpful while you shop. Their treats are also of the natural variety and I especially love the little Cheeto puff-looking green crispy dental treats. (They actually work a little whereas nothing else ever has.) Competitive pricing is another perk here. I notice I actually pay less than I used to when I shopped at similar stores in Clearwater and Belleair. Located next to Little Caesar's in the Winn Dixie parking lot across from Anytime Fitness at Keene and Main.

Fantastic buisness! Friendly, well priced, knowledgeable. Love the rewards program as well, especially when the free box of food comes.

So having newly adopted my husky duke, we are both…read moreexperiencing new things which includes grooming. I'm super protective and always hopes he behaves and today we got to try Woof Gang! meeting people in the parking lot who were waiting spoke so highly it reaffirmed my decision to go. Although a chain it's franchised and woman owned! it is super adorable inside that has everything your furry bff will want. The washer was amazing she said two hours but was done in one and he came out not only with a great review but he felt and smelled amazing!!!! the team was amazing and they truly care about your pets! and even gave him a cute tie and let us pick some treats after his groom. The price was the same as some chain pet stores but this was more personal and will be giving them my business again!!!!

Walking in for the first time was the cutest thing. I looked to my left and saw an area for the dogs to be able to sit for instagram photo ops. I just loved that. Right in front were tons of different toys and birthday treats which is exactly what we were interested in for our girls. The employees were friendly and asked if there was any assistance that we needed but with everything on beautiful display it wasn't hard for us to pick what items we wanted to get them. As an everyday expense, I would say that this is a little high-end but for special occasions I think it's just perfect to be able to spoil your furry best friend(s). Our girls especially love dog friendly ice cream and they have that available so that was one of the number one items on our list. Once we got home with the girl's gifts and they got to enjoy them, and I would say they definitely gave them two paws up.

This isn't my regular Petco but I still had a good experience. This store is located at the…read morenortheast corner of US19 and Curlew Rd. in Palm Harbor. It's in the same strip center/ complex that a Sonny's and Publix are located. The store was large, tidy and didn't suffer from the aroma that is so prevalent in some other pet stores. We were in for just a second to pick up some dry cat food. My only complaint is that the Hill's Science Diet dry cat food is located on two separate aisles. These days, Hill's has quite a few types of food to address a panoply of cat maladies. So, it's easy to have your eyes gloss over when you're trying to find just plain ol' cat food. Mission accomplished! Checkout was effortless. The employees were helpful and courteous. If I'm up in Palm Harbor, I will definitely stop by again. I can recommend this location.

Extremely Unprofessional Grooming Service - Three Chances, Three Failures, Zero Accountability!…read more I have an 85-pound black Labradoodle, and on three separate occasions, this location has assured me they could groom him, only to fail to provide the service. At this point, I seriously question whether this location should be grooming large dogs at all. Let's start with the appointment process. They never called to confirm our appointment. When I called to confirm it myself, I was told their system was down yet again, and they couldn't verify the appointment. This is apparently a recurring issue. Before bringing my dog in, we went out of our way to explain his needs and provide specific instructions to ensure a successful grooming experience. We explained that he gets anxious at the groomer and doesn't like having his paws groomed, so we specifically told them to leave his paws alone. We also explained that he should go directly from the front entrance to the grooming table rather than being placed in a cage. We provided all of this information in advance because we wanted to set both our dog and the groomer up for success. He has NEVER bitten anyone. Yes, he's a big dog. Yes, he gets anxious at the groomer. But he is not some horrendously terrifying or aggressive animal who needs to be locked in a cage for three hours! Yet that's exactly what happened. Instead of following our instructions or calling us to explain that they were uncomfortable grooming him, they left him in a cage for hours without communicating with us. We had to call to find out what was happening. Frankly, it felt like they were holding my dog hostage. If you cannot groom him, CALL ME SO I CAN COME GET HIM! Don't leave an anxious animal sitting in a cage for three hours when you were specifically told that wasn't appropriate for him. When I finally arrived, I had to stand there for 10 minutes with a broken foot, waiting for an employee to explain why my smaller female dog had been groomed but my Labradoodle had not. Her explanation was that she was intimidated by his size. Here's the thing: I have absolutely no problem with a groomer admitting they are uncomfortable handling a large dog. I would actually appreciate that honesty. What I have a problem with is a business repeatedly accepting appointments, ignoring detailed instructions, failing to communicate, and leaving an animal confined for hours without providing the service. This isn't the first time, either. I've experienced similar issues with a previous groomer at this location. To make matters worse, when I attempted to address the situation with management, I was given what I believe was a fake name for the store's general manager. Nobody seemed willing to take responsibility. Three appointments. Three failures. Hours of my time wasted. And absolutely zero accountability. We did everything we could to make this a successful experience. We communicated his needs, explained his anxiety, offered reasonable accommodations, and trusted this business to care for our dog. They failed him, and they failed us. If you cannot safely and confidently groom large dogs, STOP ACCEPTING LARGE DOGS AS CLIENTS! Our pets are family members, not appointments to be forgotten about in a cage. Don't waste your time. Take your dogs somewhere that respects both the animals and their owners.
