Terrible Terrible store. I called them regarding returning pet food that was opened. They said their policy was not to take back pet food that was opened. I understand that, however, the pet food was Royal Canin and I spoke with Royal Canin and they say they stand behind their food 100% and allows returns up to 3 months. The person I spoke with told me it was a franchise and he would have to talk with the owner and would call me back. Haven't heard back yet. I called several PetSupplies Plus stores in the area and they all take back opened food as long as the bag was half full. Since the new owners purchased the store service is terrible. There are much better stores in the Plymouth/Canton area to use. read more

Until recently I've been able to drive to our Canton Pet supply plus but due to a recent injury I ordered online from them. It was delivered the next day and placed on our porch neatly and not just hanging half off of it and other delivery persons have done in the past. They have a great selection of foods and the variety I buy is not available in the local grocery stores. The staff is always helpful. read more

I have been buying cat food and supplies from this store since I moved to Canton in 1999. Remarkable consistency in excellent customer service for all these years. I have not seen that in any other pet store. Ever. Every employee I have spoken with has been knowledgeable about the products, they are very friendly and a pleasure to talk with. Pricing is very good, and there are always special sales going on. The new My Rewards program gave me $20 rewards already! Checkout is efficient, and they are happy to carry purchases out to the customers' cars. I truly enjoy my weekly visits to the store. Curbside pickup is fast and easy, and they have delivery and autoship, but then you miss talking with the staff and customers, seeing the store cats and customer dogs. There are veterinary clinic days, many fun events (I was there one year on Valentine's Day . . . excellent cupcakes!), there is a handy donation box for the Humane Society so you can avoid driving all the way out there, they trim my cat's nails . . . and even retrieve and return her to my car when I can't go in the store. So many things to like about the Pet Supplies Plus in Canton. Also, it is very easy to get in/out without ever going on Ford Rd (this will be an extra blessing when they start construction on the Ford Rd Blvd project). I recommend all pet lovers frequent this store! read more

I just wanted to add to my last review ...this Pet supply store has everything we need for our cat. They have the best foods and it's the ONLY pet supply around that supplies the "Natural Balance" food, that my cat eats! The people there are so nice and really helpful and just kind! This "Pet Supplies Plus", even let's me return cat treats if my cat doesn't like them! They've been very understanding of my cats bad history (poor thing); &!they've allowed me to try several different treats until we found that purr cat was not going to ever like treats!! LOL... Anyways ...the checkout clerk was awesome and "Michael" helped us to find stuff!! I found that they also have a "drop off" for donated dog & cat food and they help hungry cats & doggies too!!! Seriously great selection. I find everything I need for my kitten here. Grain-free and organic is very important to us while shopping and they don't disappoint in those categories. In fact, they even carry some local brands while their HQ is right here in Livonia! The staff are always so friendly and are genuinely good at what they do. Hey folks, please dont patronize this store. The manager is not concerned with good products or in customer satisfaction. I bought a 4 lb bag of dog food. We dropped it into the food container. Later, when its was time for feeding (the next day), we were surprised at the appearance of the pellets-THEY WERE SEVERELY MOTTLED-something happened to them during storage. The next day I went back to the store with the receipt and some of the pellets to show them and asked for a refund. The manager said where's the bag? I said it was tossed in the garbage and couldnt be retrieved. HE WOULDN'T GIVE THE REFUND and then got made at me for my insistence. I got mad too. Then he called the cops on me! I will NEVER step foot in the store again-HE SAID HE DIDNT CARE!!!!. I checked with another near by pet store and they said people have told them about the Pet Supplies Plus Non-service TOO! This store is so impressive. They deliver same day, with spot on accuracy. They always put in a note to my dogs to thank them for their order. They base their note on the items, so if I purchase a birthday item, they wish my dog a happy birthday. They are also so friendly when we go into the store. This is my second favorite Pet Supply Plus (PPS) location. I normally would not travel to Canton for PPS, but this location host Homeward Bound Animal rescue on Saturdays. We adopted our Dexter and Daisy from Homeward Bound! The selection of dog and cat food and supplies is outstanding. PPS carries the premium brands, such as Nutro as well as Purina and other less expense brands. In addition to dog and cat items, PPS also carries supplies for fish, snakes, rabbits, rodents, and even monkeys. Finally, PPS sells Avanti greeting cards - a Detroit based greeting card company -- I love it!!!!! The service is top notch. Everyone is super friendly and helpful. PPS are locally owned and based! Came to store when they had vet clinic. Pet Supplies Plus employee Owen went above and beyond in service helping me with my dog. he walked my dog to the vet clinic (I am a bit handicapped and use cane for balance.) Put her into cart for me to manage her more easily - she's about 50 pounds. Then when standing on the plastic lattice of cart was hurting her feet he got some cardboard for her to stand on in cart and put her back in. And the VIP vet employees were so kind too, assisting me out. Made what often is a stressful experience both pleasant and enjoyable. read more

Pet Supplies Plus has an excellent selection of both premium and regular cat food. Toys, treats, accessories - they have them here. Pet Supplies Plus has good prices and the store is clean and easy to navigate. I like that when I walk in I am always greeted by someone working the check out lane. Honest to f*cking God. WTF is wrong with people. Had to by my catfood on line because Pet Supplies Plus doesn't carry their OWN BRAND of food in their stores. So, I figured, I'd just order my food "autoship", then every three weeks they can send me the food that my cats like. (I'm giving you the Cliff Notes version). Got an email today saying my food was out for delivery. Then another email saying it had been delivered. Got home from work.....NO CATFOOD. So I call PET SUPPLIES PLUS. After speaking with more than one employee, and me helping them track their own delivery shipment, we determined that my food was accidently left behind. Well, you know, I understand accidents happen. But I asked the representative from PET SUPPLIES PLUS, "Why was my order marked as delivered?" They told me, "Oh, we just mark them all delivered. We don't actually verify that the delivery person actually delivered the product to the correct address. NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH PET SUPPLIES PLUS!!! read more
