Took my pup in for the self serve wash station - usually we'd wash him at home but it's getting colder outside and he no longer fits in the tub. This was our first time taking him to pet supplies plus. They had everything we needed: big tub, apron for me, shampoo/conditioner, towels, and a dryer. However, I had some safety concerns. My dog can be a bit of a flight risk during bath time. He hates it but eventually he will submit and cooperate - but he will absolutely escape and run if he gets the chance to get away from the super deadly water that will most definitely kill him. Which brings me to the problem; there's no door for the dog wash area so there isn't anything from stopping my dog from escaping AND the doors to the store are automatic and not push/pull AND the tub had a short lead to attach to my dog like most groomers have but this lead was rusty, too small for my dog, and was barely secure to the tub. So for the whole bath, I had to hold onto my pups leash and only had one hand free the entire time. It was a bit stressful. So if your dog loves bath time, I recommend this place. If they don't, don't go here. read more

I used the dog washing facilities recently for my corgi and the facilities were wonderful as was the low price. The tub, shampoo, dryer, and even an apron were all supplied. I will only return to this store on an immediate need basis. I went into the store on 8/24 and went to register with a few items. It turns out all the prices on everything in the store expired the day before. All the tags where still on the items. Typically you'd get the discounted priced due to store mishap but the associate said no. So I had to do immediate returns on a few items. After I paid and did the return, the associate said wait, I forgot to ring this up. So after they had to give me a refund, they had to ring up additional items. A line started to build, I felt uncomfortable, and I was not happy. Amazon has better deals, offers, and prices. I am not a complainer, I typically go with the flow but this really aggravated me. read more

Had accidenty bought the wrong bag of Blue cat food ( which is not a cheap brand) returned the next day to EVEN EXCHANGE for the correct type of BLUE the salesperson wanted to charge me almost $12.00 to exchange stating due to my mistake my 30% coupon I had used didn't apply anymore and not until I objected more than once did the manager on duty come out and say just do it. Once I left the store another customer followed me out and proceeded to inform me that the MANAGER on duty and the SALESPERSON were inside laughing at me stating "Can you believe that guy whatever" GREAT WAY TO TREAT CUSTOMERS. I truly wish I could give negative stars. This is probably the worst Pet Supplies I have ever been to. It's absolutely disgusting. Crickets all over the floors. There is dog hair absolutely everywhere. I cannot even wash my dog without becoming covered in someone else's dog hair because they simply NEVER clean the bathing stations. It's filthy. They do NOT put the correct shampoos in the right bottles. For example, oatmeal is actually hypo-allergenic, and vise versa. They just put whatever they have into whatever bottles and nothing is correctly labeled - allergy warning. This place is a joke. Had to pay 15$ to wash my dog, in someone else's dog hair, with incorrectly labeled products. The manager and staff sit in the back on their phones and do NOT attend to customer needs. Manager brings her dog to work and has a nasty attitude when she actually has to ring customers up. The price to wash your dog went from 5$ to 15$. We used to love PSP, but now you've lost our business. read more

I have been shopping in this store for 15 + years and although some faces change, the service is always Helpful and Friendly. One young man specifically stands out. AIDEN S. always has a huge smile on his face when he greets me as well as other shoppers. He offers assistance on choosing pet items and is sure to ask if we have an account for any discounts or coupons. After a quick transaction, he always asks if I need help getting my items to the car. I was just in here a couple of days ago looking to possibly get a pet when I saw they had ferrets. I used to actually work at a PSP years ago and we would always allow people to play with the animals we had. So I was petting the ferrets when an extremely rude employee, who wasn't even wearing a name tag (had multi-colored blonde hair), approached me and told me they don't allow their pets to be handled and stared at me until I put the top back on the habitat; instead of asking if I needed assistance or offering any type of positive solution. She then proceeded to walk away and I mentioned to my girlfriend (who was there with me) that never used to be a problem when I had worked there and the employee rushed back over to defend herself-- using a fabricated story. Socializing animals is a very important and impactful part of their growth and it also helps prospective buyers see if they actually bond with a pet before making a big decision. Extremely bad customer service, especially towards people who love animals. And if they really didn't want their pets handled, why wouldn't they lock the enclosures or have a sign? Absolutely wouldn't recommend and won't be going back to a Pet Supplies Plus in the future. The company has really gone downhill. read more

I can't pull up anything other then what they have on sale , I'm searching for a harness and leash and collar but there isn't any where to search !! if I tap on the dog area it brings everything up but when I "TRY" to tap on what I'm looking for it goes right back to the add and home page it's beyond frustrating and annoying!!!!! every time I mention this at the store they say they have nothing to do with it, well I'm going to stick with Amazon and Walmart because they're websites are extremely easy to navigate since I can't view what's in this store I'm most likely going to shop somewhere else. read more

Very large selection of a variety of different pet items from normal cat & dog stuff to the more exotic. Extremely helpful and friendly employees who are very knowledgeable. I really like that they have their own self service dog wash room where you can bring in your dog and wash him yourself with access to shampoo, conditioner, towels and even a dryer all for $10 or a $25 for 5 visits. I'll definitely be visiting again for that perk. read more

Thank goodness for Pet Supplies Plus. Petsmart recently discontinued carrying my cat's urinary tract formula canned cat food and luckily Pet Supplies Plus has it at a great price! I used to go to the Lancaster location all the time (which, by the way, is also excellent) and this location is near family members. This location is within a mile of Route 1. Large, clean store, excellent selection of canned and dry food. Knowledgeable employees. read more

To update. The day after writing my original review, the last one of my 18 Black Skirts died. Despite treatment the Ich parasite killed my entire tank. I have never seen or even heard of an outbreak this severe.. Killed off an entire 60 gallon tank in a matter of days.. buyer beware. read more

They are not only very willing to always help with any question and go above and beyond to assist me every time I step foot in that store, they even price match and are super patient. Love shopping in this store. I've had my foster kitties in there also and they are super accommodating. I use the tubs to bathe my dogs and every time extremely helpful. I saw a few negative comments and feel that's totally very unfair. The staff here work very hard and with a smile. Some stores must abide by rules and regulations . Poor customer service. All their fish have diseases...how I know because I just brought one home and have to buy ick treatment for my whole entire tank. I just bought the betta fish last night! When I got home and kept looking he's got 3 white specks on him! Unbelievable how they treat the fish at this place! Do NOT buy fish from here ever!
