It's such a small thing, but it really makes the shopping experience feel welcoming and personal. The store itself is very spacious and clean, which is another big plus. They're usually well-stocked, though there have been times they didn't have my go-to Purina Pro Plan Sensitive Stomach Salmon for my dog. On those occasions, I've had to grab the turkey or lamb flavor instead, which isn't ideal but still works. Aside from that, this is my main store for all my pet needs. Let me first start off by saying I've always loved going to Dubey's since I was a child. It's so…read morefun to just walk in and interact with the animals. But today we were in shopping for either a bearded dragon or a Kenyan Sand Boa. We visited the dragons and then I saw a tank or to labled Kenyan sand boas and couldn't see the snakes because they were hiding (as they do). I wanted to see and hold one, so we could start to make a decision on what we might want. I asked a guy If he could get us one out so we could interact with it. He proceeded to tell me unless I'm going to buying the snake he's not going to take it out. I explained we were interested but were shopping around. Umm how are we supposed to know if we want to buy it if we can't hold or even see the snake? I couldn't promise we would buy it so we left. You guys missed out on a possible purchase. Do better.

I was asking questions about owning one because I have only had dogs and cats. I was beside the kitten cages and this sweet little kitten kept meowing and sticking her little paws out. She walked away and the Assistant Manager helped me purchase the kitten. That rude, unprofessional, bully Manager doesn't need to work with humans or animals....I will now start shopping at the Burlington or Chapel Hill pet-stores in the future. I have spent entirely too much money in that store for that rude attitude...
