Specialties
Pet Solutions Unlimited is a full-service in-home pet-sitting company.
We cater our services to meet our client's needs. We come as little or as often as our clients need from once a day to multiple times a day and even overnight if desired. We feed, clean, walk, brush, and love on your pets. We can also administer oral and sub-q medications. We want our clients to relax while away so we will call, text, send pictures and/or video if desired so our clients can be reassured that everything is ok. We also offer regular walking and poop-scooping services.
Our services also include bringing in the mail/newspaper, taking out the trash, watering plants, and turning off and on lights to make it look like you are home.
We have extensive experience with many species of animals from dogs, cats, and birds, to farm animals, to exotics like insects and reptiles to really exotic animals like marine animals and both large and small primates. There is very little we haven't worked with.
History
Established in 2004.
by Heather O'neill, a graduate of the Exotic Animal Training and Management Program at Moorpark College, Pet Solutions Unlimited quickly established itself as a premier pet-sitting company in Ventura County offering quality care above and beyond your typical pet-sitter. The business rapidly grew and expanded to several employees.
In early 2006, Sherri, the current owner, started working for PSU, learning the high expectations set by Heather. Heather moved to Indiana in 2010 where she started PSU Indy while Sherri ran the day to day operations of the company here.
In late 2011, Sherri bought PSU from Heather continuing her quality, personalized care that Heather established and Pet Solutions Unlimited has become known for.
Currently PSU also has two additional employees, Jason and Jaeme.
Meet the Business Owner: Sherri F.
I have worked with animals all my life and have made them my educational goals as well as my professional life. I graduated from Cal Poly, SLO with a Bachelor's Degree in Animal Science in 2000. That same year I also graduated from Moorpark College's Exotic Animal Training and Management Program with Associate's Degrees in both Wildlife Education and Exotic Animal Training.
After graduation, I moved to Hawaii where I continued my passion for animal work by working at Dolphin Quest, Sea Life Park, and the Honolulu Zoo. In January 2006 I moved back to the Camarillo area and started working for Pet Solutions Unlimited immediately. I worked for the company for almost 6 years before purchasing the company from the original owner in 2011.
I am also a military spouse with two young boys and 3 dogs, a Bullmastiff, a St. Bernard-Mastiff mix, and a Pug.
When not working with private clients I also work at a local vet clinic.
