I've been going here for a few years now and absolutely LOVE them! By far the best my babies and I have ever been to without a doubt. I have 2 chihuahuas that both tend to get nervous and anxious when away from momma. Pet Perspective always recognizes that and takes whatever time needed to give delicate and patient care. They are always so sweet, consistent, and most importantly trusting when I drop my girls off. They text me with an update on how the visit went and time for pick up. It is clear that they go above and beyond as every pet seems very well taken care of and happy when I go in for a pick up. If you're a pet parent that had bad experiences in the past or have anxiety with people handling your pet, I highly recommend Pet Perspective. They offer an opportunity to heal and move forward with feeling good about trusting people with your babies. read more

Matti is a pro. It was our first time taking our pups here. She really knows what to do with each and every dog. They have never looked better. Archie and Walter are very happy. Thank you Matti. read more

I left my 2 dogs for a few weeks and when I got back, they were a mess. Dirty and looked like they weren't brushed out once while I was gone. I found Pet Purrspective on Yelp and made an appointment. I dropped them off and a short time later picked up what look like 2 different dogs. They look awesome! They feel soft, smell great and are so much more comfortable with their shorter hair. Apparently one of the dogs had an extreme fear reaction to the grooming process. But Matti was able to calm him and get him through it successfully. Even with the extra effort that was required, the fee was very fair. I definitely recommend Pet Purrspective and I plan to be a loyal customer. read more

Once again Matti has really helped out Cricket! Our vet recommended my long hair cat is shaved due to chronic vomiting (she has a triple layer coat and spent most of her day grooming). The vet quoted us over $500 for a coat, which included complete sedation -- no thanks! We give Cricket gabopentin with her breakfast, and see Matti in the morning. She is completely shaved and home before noon. This has seriously helped Cricket's chronic vomiting. read more

Matti is absolutely amazing! I've never seen our poodle look so perfect after grooming. She is fast, friendly, and professional. The care and consistency of every visit is unmatched. What really sets Matti apart is how gentle and patient she is. My poodle used to be anxious with our previous groomer but now walks in with a wagging tail and comes home relaxed instead of stressed. Matti is a highly recommend! read more

Matti and her team are pros. We have our two dogs groomed here every few weeks. One of our dogs is particularly spicy at times and Matti knows how to work with him to put him at ease. Go to Pet Purrspective if you want an excellent grooming job for your doggos! read more

I have been going to Greg for years. I have followed him to two or three different places at this point. I don't let anybody else touch my kids. He's groomed all of my last four dogs. He truly understands dogs and they love him. When my previous three dogs have passed away, Greg takes it really personally. He sends me all the pictures he ever took of my dogs so I have them in my phone. Honestly, all of the people at here are amazing! I highly recommend taking your fur babies here. You won't be disappointed. read more

Trust Matti and team at Pet Purrspective with your pets. She's been a groomer (not grooming) for dogs and cats for many years now. She takes a lot of pride in what she does, she takes her time, and she's all serious with her work. I was able to schedule and put a down payment for my two wild Malinois (Buster and Gunnar) with Matti. The two wildlings took about 2-3 hours to be groomed and cleaned up. After they were cleaned up, they came out super clean, nails cut, ears cleaned, butt cleaned and fur combed out and bathed. Will definitely be back for their next grooming session. read more

Matti has over 20 yrs of experience with grooming cats and dogs, she is the best of the best. Not only is she incredibly talented and has mastered her craft, but you also know your pet is in good hands and not at risk. The pets can sense her good energy too. She books up quick so make sure you book accordingly, especially for haircuts. I've taken my dogs to her even before she opened her own shop and will continue to do so. Thank you Matti! P.S. Greg is an amazing groomer too! read more

If you're reading this, you're in the right place. Pet Purrspective has best quality service for their clients in every way. Matti has cared for my goldendoodle since he was 1, and since then I just can't take him to any other groomers. Before I took my dog to Matti, he had a bad experience as a puppy so it was very difficult to find someone he felt even remotely comfortable with. Since day 1 Matti has worked with him consistently to make sure he feels as comfortable as he can with grooming. It is no doubt she is a true professional groomer (she gives the best poodle cut!), but she also creates a bond with each of her clients to give them specialized care. It really reassures me that Kobe is always super happy to see Matti every other week. You really can't find this level of service with this price anywhere!! read more

We are so lucky that this groomer opened up within walking distance from our home! Our experience with Matti grooming our two dogs could not have been better. I VERY HIGHLY recommend!!!! We have a 20 lb Poodle-mix and a 10lb Moorkie. Both were way overdue for a trim. When we picked them up, they were happy and smelling and looking great. Thank you!!!! We have taken our babies to several other groomers in the Hollywood/West Hollywood area and this has been the best experience. Don't let the location fool you. At two other places, our doggies came out traumatized. Another was way overpriced. More important than the cut is how our dogs are treated and Matti's experience is obvious. But.... their cuts were amazing! We gave very little direction and our babies are now cuter than ever. read more

What a chic salon! Cute dog chairs, a photo booth, and open stalls to keep your pups in while they wait for their turn/parents. It was easy to book an appointment at Pet Purrspective and prices are reasonable. Matti did such a great job to make Mabel feel safe and comfortable during our visit. This positive experience was extremely important for Mabel, as she's a puppy and not used to going to the groomers. My dog was super excited to be around Matti and I can't wait to take her back. Thank you for your expert care and attention Matti! I highly recommend Pet Purrspective for your pets' needs. read more

So happy I can be the first to review Matti's new business! My pup has been getting his grooming done by her for a few years now, and he always looks and smells amazing when I pick him up. If you are considering coming here for the first time and are not already a returning customer, don't let the lack of reviews deter you - she is a pro! Communication is always super easy, and her new location has tons of free 90 minute parking! (It's that big strip mall type parking lot just down from Hollywood Forever.) Matti has been grooming my dogs for several years now. Bryan Pfeifer of Pet Approved Care recommended Matti when she worked at DogWorks. Matti now has her own place! She continues to provide first-rate grooming services to my beloved rescued Shepard mix, Kayley. Kayley sheds a lot and Matti brushes the hell out of her. I picked her up yesterday and her fur looked a couple of shades lighter after her bath! I highly recommend Matti if you're in the market for a great, personable groomer. read more

Matti is wonderful!! We had a phone conversation prior to booking an appt for my two goldendoodle pups and she asked all the right questions. She's very genuine and honest which is what I love most about her. Our nervous female immediately took to her and during our first meet she did a great job analyzing them to ensure our expectations could be met. Now for the best part, the pick up! Boy did she knocked the grooming out of the park. I'm extremely picky when it comes to a cut. I showed her one picture and she gave the pups the exact cut we wanted. We are so grateful to have found her and looking forward to continuing to take our pups to her. Thank you so much Matti! read more

My previous groomer moved so I was looking for a new groomer and from the beginning consult to a prompt text when finished, I was impressed through and through. I'm always cautious about bringing him to grooming because he is old and I don't want to stress him out, and with that, Matti did an amazing job with him emotionally and aesthetically. read more

We have found a permanent groomer! I took my dog to matti and we were definitely not disappointed. She's incredibly professional and patient. My dog is definitely tiny but feisty and in the past when we took her to other groomers we got her back either the same or little to nothing was done on her with the excuse that " she did not let her self " or " she's too feisty" and yes I get it she can be but either way nothing was done and it always looked like a job that could have been done at home you know? But NOT with this groomer. When we picked up our doggie she was a whole new dog ! She looked beautiful! She had been given a hair cut , a nail trim the whole shebang! We were so amazed and so great full! We will definitely be coming here moving forward. Our dog was happy and we were definitely happy! 100% recommend! read more

After searching and searching for the perfect groomer for my Golden Doodle Cielo, I am SOOO HAPPY and BLESSED that I came across Matti. She is very passionate on what does and is someone you can trust with your furbaby. The attention to detail for my pup was amazing!
