I was due to give birth in 5 days and desperately needed somewhere to board my dogs. They have an amazing "interview" process with the dogs where they give a free day of daycare while your dogs are introduced to their surroundings, the other dogs, and the staff. They have an app you can download to watch video surveillance of your dogs. The only downside to this location is that they don't have an outdoor area, so the dogs urinate and defecate in the concrete play yard. While this isn't typically a problem with house trained/older dogs, it's not ideal for puppies. My 7yr dog did fantastic, my 11month old dog came home confused and started urinating on the floor. She seemed to have lost some of her house training while she was boarded for 4 or so nights. This is not a negative review for the facility, just an FYI for owners of young dogs. The staff were all amazing, and the clients that I interacted with all seemed very happy. They give out super cute photo milestones of your dogs too

They hadn't even opened yet, but were extremely helpful even so! I got Sam on the line, who was super helpful and made sure I had nothing to worry about. If I had this issue with any other larger pet company, it wouldn't have been to easy to fix! Instead Sam and the team gave me nothing to stress over. In addition to that, when my delivery arrived this morning, they even included a full bag of goodies for my pup, to make up for it (which they totally didn't need to to!)! Luckily we lived near her first shop, and when that one succeeded to the point she was exhausted, we followed Sandra to her new smaller shop that's in a nearby town. She is more than a groomer, she is an experienced breeder and trainer who notices health issues before you do. In terms of grooming itself, I love how she looks for the trim that best suits one's particular dog. Our huge standard poodle was always expressing full poodle sophistication (those fabulous ear fringes!) and yet had her feet and face and tummy trimmed so she could be a farm dog who romped through bogs and pastures and ponds while being easily cleaned up when it was time to come into the house. Most important of all--our Sunny loved Sandra for the whole 15 years she was with us. I won't go anywhere else once I can bring myself to find another dog.

Sophie is all that and more. So, to leave her someplace was so scary... WORRY NOT! MYONLY BOARDING KENNEL is now my ONLY boarding place for Sophie! WHAT I LOVE... Sophie seemed to relax the moment she met the people there. I felt okay (and that is saying A LOT) leaving her there. She was happy (not nervous, not scared, not bolting) when we came to pick her up. She had not lost weight or hair while we were gone. She was perfectly happy, how cool is that? Did I mention they bathed and groomed Sophie (a German Sheppard)?
