    Depressed Dog

0 stars all day long hate giving them one, after I saw about three two month old puppies in a cage together I tried to make excuses in my mind because they are very small. After walking down a few cages they had this dog who was clearly past the puppy stage, in a cage that I doubt he can even stand in. This is animal abuse keeping dogs in unhealthy small cages for all day long. These are crazy people who hate animals, they discount their dogs they can't sell to "$500" acting like that is a deal. You will be buying an animal with health issues here. Do not spend your money here and I encourage you to walk in and express how this makes you feel to staff and potential customers. Disgusting establishment.

    Puppy for sale

Staff was friendly. They only carry dog and cat items for sale as well as living cats and dogs for a high sale price. There are signs on the cages that advertise some sort of special sale price for a puppy. I would rather adopt versus shop for a dog but I decided to see what it was like for the animals inside being that I am a dog lover. I didn't see any animals in distress, all appeared to be ok. The store was packed with people, it was definitely crowded for such a small store (no social distancing here at all). There are several dogs up for purchase, all were puppies of large and small breeds alike-a variety of well known breeds. All of the dogs cages appeared clean but were very small. Most dogs were sleeping, some were trying to play in their tiny environment. There were several cats, all appeared depressed but appeared cared for. There are a few small enclosed areas where you can sit with a dog or cat in case you are looking to buy one. I will never be back as I do not support such establishments.

I give the place 4 stars I bought my doodle. Yhe workers were friendly the cat and dog iteams were so much money just for a toy, the dogs looked happy they were happy to see humans, it took way ling to purchase the dog took about 2 hrs the dogs are in great condition , 1 promb they said my dog was post to be mini and he look far from a mini and only 8 months I have a friend with a sidle he was post to be a mini and he is as tall has a stand the prices for the animals are too high. Its a nice place though

Seeing a lot of bad reviews, and as someone who is a big animal rescuer, and lover I'll tell you that this place is legit. The price we paid for a pure bred Boston terrier is less than the usual asking rate, the puppies were extremely healthy, and not to mention very well nourished. The store has vet records on hand with the names and addresses of the vet, the name of the local breeder that had them (also with address and information) , and enough backups and money back guarantees that show they are the real deal. We look forward to taking our puppy home and will continue to tell you that as someone with 11 pets, and half of them are rescues, that this is no ordinary "puppy store" they love these animals.

This place is sad and grossly over priced. No way should a boxer puppy ever cost $2400. Besides the price, it literally made me sad to see how unhealthy the dogs looked. This dog looks malnourished and obviously has zero room to exercise and gain muscle.

I have a video of this puppy overheating. There were at least 3 more puppies having similar issues.

Pet-Go-Round at the mall is THE WORST, puppy shops in general are THE WORST. These puppies are overheating, and when I contacted the store about it they gave me the general "oh, they're fine, it's hot, but we keep an eye on em". Honestly not a good enough answer for me. I dont know how this place has been in operation for as long as it has. Everytime I've looked at puppies in there, they've been sick or struggling. I'm sick and tired of seeing this place profit off of the mistreatment of animals.

My husband told me about some smaller bunnies he'd seen in there a few weeks ago. As I own a few New Zealand Bucks. Personally my trip in today was for a live feeder rat for my 6 year old ball python. Needless to say I saw two little bunnies behind a little girl who was sitting on a bench who actually wasnt even aware they were behind her because I asked were they hers and she said no. So then I asked the young lady at the counter could the bunnies be held or pet and she said yes. Soon as I go to pick up a bunny another lady who 1. Fails to even identify whom she is states Oh no you cant hold it, but you can pet it. So let me get this straight as a potential customer I cant hold an animal I'm potentially interested in?? So how many people go to buy a car and just purchase it right off the lot, no test drive? I'll wait... My point is every time I come into Pet Paradise I'm being told oh you can pet the bunnies or the ferrets but you cant hold them. Mind you I've seen "others," allowed to do just that. I've owned every animal mentioned previously in my 40+ years but it appears only certain people have the privilege here to actually interact with potential furbabies. Whelp they say word of mouth is the best form of marketing so figured I'd put the word out because it's a reoccurring theme I'm quite tired of and figured I'd let folks know about the fickle behavior of oh peep this the supposed manager who "Can Do what she wants," as I was told by the young lady behind the counter. Now last I checked a manager wasnt the owner but hey what do I know? I just need to find a better pet store with similar or BETTER options closer to me in Suffolk. Nobody buys cars without test driving, nobody adopts a dog without interacting, so why am I limited to petting a rabbit only and not holding it, but told oh you can hold it if your intentions is to buy one by the young lady behind the counter.. whew I could say so much but trust me I dont think I have to.

This place came highly recommended. We walked in the door and I was looking in a fridge. There was a dog in there with someone with a service dog harness on. My kids took a couple steps towards the dog (still about 6 feet away). The dog started barking and lunging at my kids. He was on a leash thank goodness. I yelled at my kids to come to me and yes when we got in the car I reiterated to them the important of not approaching random dogs and asking before trying to pet. I walked through the store to see what they had as I had never been there before. We walked back towards the front and I looked through other coolers they had. Making sure my kids stood by the front door as I did this. The dog started barking and freaking out again. I felt so uncomfortable and honestly worried about my kids safety that we just left. Never once did someone ask if they could help me, ask what I was looking for, maybe come up and apologize for the dog going nuts. It was just a bad experience. Let me end by saying I get every service dog has a different job and maybe protecting his owner is what his job is. But to react that aggressively and whoever was handling him sounded like they were having a hard time getting him to stop. That dog shouldn't be brought out in public. Seeing other customers walk in the dog should have been put in the back or taken out to the car or something.

Sometimes convenience wins, right? We popped in to grab Lexi's usual -- Hill's Science Diet for Sensitive Stomachs (bougie bellies only ‍) -- and let me tell you, they had a huge selection of dog food options. The store was pretty busy but well-stocked, which is always a good sign. I wish I had taken some photos (next time, I promise!), but I did take a quick stroll down the aisles to see if they had any dog clothes... and sadly, no outfits in sight. You know Lexi doesn't go anywhere without a fit check, so we always scope out the fashion section. On the bright side, they had: Tons of treats A great variety of toys Leashes, collars, and accessories ...but no sparkle, no glam, no bougie wear The price for our dog food was a bit higher than what we usually pay at other spots, but for the convenience of being so close to home, it worked out just fine this time. So would we go back? Maybe for quick pickups. But for fashion? We'll have to keep looking.

I have been here several times now, and my most recent visit was on September 10, 2025. Since the business is in a shopping center, parking isn't too hard to find. There are a few spaces reserved just for customers, most likely since it can get busy with a movie theater and other businesses around. The outside of the place is easy to see with the big green lettering. The first time I came in was due to getting a coupon in the mail. I figured with the coupon it would be worth checking out. The inside is pretty big. They have full grooming and self-grooming for pets at the back of the store. My dog likes the FreshPet type of food, so that was a good thing to use the coupon on. After my first visit, I also joined their rewards program. I have been getting coupons since, so it definitely keeps me coming back in. Whenever you come in, there is so much to choose from. The is also a display with items that are further discounted, primarily since the best by date comes up soon for food type items. My mom was with me on the most recent visit. On this visit, we had a coupon for 40% off an entire purchase, including those already discounted or on sale. This worked out great. We got several rolls of the dog food since they are good for a few months. Pet toys and treats were the primary items we looked at after getting the food. We ended up getting a few more than planned at the discounted display. We ended up saving almost $80 in discounts that day. Overall, the staff have been great here when we have come in. The one thing to note is that if you have items that are discounted, they associate has to get a manager to do it. It can take some time for them to come up after summoning them. Regular prices can be a bit higher than you can find at other stores, but the coupons help match those amounts again too. If you are looking for pet items, this place is still worth checking out.
