Another crew later came out, claimed there were "no birds, just twigs," sanitized the area, installed a metal cover, and left. Now there are flies surrounding the covering, birds trying to get back inside, and we can still hear chirping and movement in the wall/vent area. Instead of fixing the issue, it seems they trapped live birds inside our home while creating an even bigger sanitation problem.
