An employee of this company comes to my apartment complex Villages at West laurel on Mondays to treat, he came in and was very nice, but went to my top floor bedroom to treat and i had to run downstairs to answer a dasher knock at door. The pest guy took my medication off my nightstand! I am sure im not the only one he has done this to. But...police could not prove he did it and i have to suffer the consequences. read more

I had been a customer for 3 to 4 years, absolutely loved the technician Robert who came by to do the treatments. My account was set up for auto-pay. Then they start harassing me about a missed payment. Okay, why after having autopay for 3 years are you folks too inept to process a payment just like you've been doing for every other payment for all that time? Add a little more stress at a stressful time and sorry but if your billing department is too inept to do a simple job, go ahead and cancel my service. I used to love this company when they were Pestmasters, since Amercian pest bought them its gone downhill. I've been a customer for over 20 years. I've had many instances of receiving calls saying when my appt is and then no one showing up once it was on a saturday and b/c the call center was closed, not allowed to talk to anyone locally anymore, I didn't find out until monday the tech took a day off and no one bothered to let me know or reschedule, another time a tech went home sick which I understand and am grateful they did so I didn't get sick, the company didn't bother to let me know, both times they blamed the tech when the company should have called me. last time I got up early for the appt, the guy was running late, finally showed up after I called the office to find out and he didn't even acknowledge he was late or apologize. Finally in January, the local manager called and apologized and said she was crediting my account and would change who my service person was. I just called as they should come this month. she did not credit my account and did not change the service person. They are supposedly fixing it for my upcoming service but this is their last chance. Seemed like a nice business. But after the "free" estimate I had to call 3 times because I was in there system as owing for initial treatment that was never agreed upon or performed then they started sending reminders to pay monthly installments even after I was told they corrected their error. For this reason I will not even get an estimate from them in the future no matter how good the quality of there work may be. read more

I had trusted this company for 4 years to complete perimeter spraying. I travel for work so I never had the opportunity to check up on them. Today I happend to be home and watched their "technician" pull into my driveway. I happend to be pantsless at the moment so ran to grab some shorts. Before I could make it downstairs I noticed the gentleman leaving his car with paperwork. He placed the $108 bill on my front door and left without so much as stepping on an ant. This is pure fraud. I could possibly be out thousands of dollars if this has been going on for 4 years. I took a picture of a happy little ant trail just in front of my front door 5 minutes after he left. Completely safe, sound, and insecticide free. read more

Was charged for $37.00 for maintenance; which they said they would call to schedule an appt. They never came and then they went ahead and charged another $37.00 for the next month. Cancelled my service and called my bank to make sure they don't try to charge me for any future services. Sad! read more

I called PestMasters because I saw several HUGE, TERRIFYING roaches in our house. They were completely disgusting. Michael G. came by and I showed him one of the hideous critters and he reassured me that they lived outside and would die once they came into my house without any interference from humans. No pesticides needed! I was so impressed by that. He didn't try to sell me anything and he easily could have, as at that point in time I was a complete sucker. I even pressed him on it to make sure they weren't living and breeding in our house. These are the kind of people I want to do business with. Thanks to Michael, I know we don't have a problem now that requires professional assistance, but if I ever do, I want Michael to come back and handle it. That guy knows his stuff and won't try to sell you something you don't need. What more can I say? FIVE STARS!!! read more

I live in a 120 year old house in Richmond, and this is the 3rd time Pestmasters has been to my house in the past two months to deal with our rat problem. They told us if "we locked up all our food then they would go for the rat bait instead." Not only were they wrong, but they spent the entirety of their visit questioning the nature of our pest problem. They missed multiple possible entry points and as a result our rat problem has gotten worse instead of better. The kitchen food is locked up tight so now the rats are diggging through the other rooms, eating make up and medicine and cough drops and trash. We've lost hundreds of dollars in food and other items as well as having to throw out a sleeper sofa that the rats destroyed due to pestmasters negligence. read more

We had a yellow jacket problem in the eaves of our house. The bees were coming into the house and my wife was stung. I went up my ladder, sprayed an entire can of some over the counter bee and wasp killer during a week, which did nothing to get rid of the bees. Worse, is I was strung twice in the same ear. The Pestmaster guys came to the house, identified the type of bee and got rid of them. It took two sprayings. It has been a week and there is no sign of the yellow jackets. I highly recommend this company and would use them again. read more

If I could've a -0- I would. Just spoke with Conrad and told him of an issue with an animal floating in a trashcan. For over 20 years we have termite service, total pest service and just had them insulate and wrap out whole foundation. They refused to come out and resolve this issue we paid for today even though the office is not closed. I have cancelled service and very very disappointed. read more

Used them for more than 20yrs and all was well -had an issue w/ the Service Tech and asked to send someone else -they complied. Then, last week was called and told that the previous Tech would again be servicing -reminded them that we had serious issues w/ this person (the guy was way out of line w/ my wife) and did not want him on the account. Spoke to a manager and the answer was, "too bad" he is your guy. We said we cancel and they said ok. Nice to know that you can have an issue w/ someone, have him replaced and then have him return. Making inappropriate comments and discussing personal topics is not what I expect from someone I hire to provide a service. Southern Pest Control just obtained a new customer and others will follow. read more

I've been renting a drafty old house this past year and had ant and mice problems to start. Pestmasters solved it in one visit, and I kept them on the quarterly check up plan. The technicians have been polite and professional, but the real reason I'm posting is to applaud their customer service. Chad came by today while I was packing to move out - I had forgotten to cancel my service which is on a payment plan. Chad took care of it for me with no fee for today's drive out. I'm disappointed the apartment complex I'm going to doesn't use them, but I will certainly hire them back when I move again. read more

I have used this company several times and could not be happier! I called on a Friday afternoon asking an outrageous request for service immediately. The owner arrived with one of his employees to access the situation. 9:00 the next morning, a Saturday no less, they sent a very conscientious technician who treated my garage as requested. He was polite, thorough and did a stellar job. Problem resolved(:Their professionalism, pricing, timeliness, honesty, eagerness to serve their customers is beyond fabulous. In this day and age, it is not always easy to have such a positive experience: receiving GREAT service but I can honestly say that it was a pleasure doing business with this over the top company.
