Wanted an earlier dinner (more American time, less Italian) and this place fit the bill, but understand my review is for non-prime hours. Reasonable sandwich, salad, raw, and tartare plate prices (8-13€), house wine by the glass is actually from a bottle, so that's s bonus as well. They also have a full listing of bottles. Service was prompt and accommodating of my non-existent Italian. The place is fast casual, you order all up front and then they bring it to you. Tuna tartare and crispy vegetable were delicious with a glass of house wine (23€)

Recommend the grilled octopus for sure. The balance of the mozzarella, pesto and fresh tomato with the grilled octopus was so good.

Finally somebody is ramping up this place, I came here about three weeks ago to have a Tuna Tatar…read moreBurger and have to say: delicious. The chef has an amazing taste for mixing exotic and local flavours into an incredible cuisine. The mixture of spices and the sweet taste of alge salad gave my dish a special spin and the fish was of outstanding quality for Milanese levels. Apart from the nicely furniture, huge rooftop windows provided an unexpectedly (restaurant is located in a side alley) nice ambient lightning, making it the perfect spot for business lunch or romantic dinner at night.

We visited the place with a goup of collegues visiting Milan for Fashion Week…read more The place gets a completely negative review from myself and my party. The ambience itself is charming (hams hanging from the roof and a rather hidden location). But the food and the staff/chef was terrible. There was no menu, which made it impossible for us to order. We had to wait for the cheff/waiter to bring us food. After a very long wait, he brought random dishes which we had to share. Most of it was fish-based, which made it impossible for some of our guest to eat, as not all appreciated fish. We kept on asking what we could eat, what was coming and how he would accomodate our friends that didn't want fish. His answer was always "I'll think about it, there is plenty to eat". This went on for three hours. As we drank wine and ate stale bread. When we told him "Ok, enough, we're done. This is getting ridiculous" he brough us the check. Written on a piece of paper, stating all he had brought to the table. It averaged €75/each. We protested, as there had been no menu or no indication of the fianl price. As we decide to pay anyway, he tells us he does not accept cards, only cash. He had gotten rather rude at this point, and demanded he keep some guests hostage as others seek a bank to withdraw. (?!) Completely upset and angry at the situation, we try to find as much cash we had on us to pay him. And vowed never to go back again.
