5 star experience. Pricey but worth it . Great for a special occasion. Excellent staff & food plus a terrific wine list. More of a date place or for special occasions.

I am biased because I am a big fan of all Langosteria's restaurants but they are just all simply fantastic: the food is amazing and the service is even better. This is the flagship, original Langosteria and is a really big restaurant (the manager told us it seats more than 150 people) but because of the set up it feels really cosy and the staff makes you feel like you are in a family dining room. A family dining room with really good food that is! I wondered if they put crack on the dishes because all of them are simply fantastic. From the seafood tower which contains the freshest and best variation of shrimp, clams, bulots and more over the absolutely scrumptious mains to the great desserts. I am not really a dessert person but their tiramisu is airy, tasty and very pretty. I am a believer, highly recommended and will certainly go back!

Complimentary appetizer clams In tomato sauce

The service by Milton and Shoid was just outstanding in every way!!! Milton, our server, brought the cuisine quickly and recommended a Norwegian lobster and pasta dish in a tomato cream sauce that was absolutely delectable!!! He was very genuinely friendly and courteous! Milton answered all the questions I had about the menu. He brought us a delicious complimentary appetizer with clams and fresh tomato sauce. My husband ordered large fresh prawns from Sicily. I practiced my not so good Italian with the server, Milton. The beauty of the Italians is that they welcome you speaking their language even though Italian is a very new language for me. The bread was complimentary and also yummy! Milton made sure that our anniversary dinner was just amazing!!! He served us complimentary chocolates in a box and Italian gelato that were in the skins of the original fruit-wow for taste sensation! The ambiance is both romantic and ready for Christmas. The lighting is dark but one can see their meals. Kudos to the chef!!! Enrico, one of the managers, was very friendly as well!!! He was very welcoming. The head manager was thrilled that we throughly enjoyed everything about this intimate restaurant in Milan. The hostesses were so very friendly as well!!! Make sure to make a reservation months in advance. You should take a taxi to this Michelin restaurant. All in all this is the best seafood ristorante that we have ever dined at for many reasons!!! Langosteria Ristorante is my new favorite place to dine!!! Thank you so very much, Milton!!! Grazie!!! Please ask for Milton as your server because he was amazing at his profession as a waiter!!!

Had their house red (medium finish), Dieci Monferrato Rosso, for about 10euro - you cannot beat this. Guests drank the whole bottle and literally ran a marathon the next day. This was delicious with our pasta and would go perfectly with any meats. Amazing and perfect meal in Milan! The service was impeccable and staff was super kind.

She found Nerino Dieci but they were about to close for lunch so we rushed over. We got there with time to spare. The bartender greeted us right away and asked if we had reservations. We didn't so we stood in line to be seated with everyone who didn't have reservations. The place was full! When you enter, you immediately see their bar area. To your left, as you face the dining area, you see the grilling area. It's very clean and organized! It didn't take too long to be seated and we were happy they could take us so close to closing. We were provided English menus. Since we had time to check out their offerings online while we waited for a table, we had screenshots of what we wanted. It was a little hard to find the corresponding menu item with the screenshots at first. Our server came over and took our order when we looked confident with what we wanted to order. Just to be safe, we also shared photos to minimize errors. We ordered a Tagliolini with Clams and Spicy Salami, Tonnarelli with Cheeses, Pepper and Bacon, Milanese Veal Cutlet with Rocket and Cherry Tomatoes, Natural Microfiltered Draft Water and a Glass of House Red Wine. Our server asked how we wanted the food to come out and we said all together. It didn't take the bar long to get our drinks to us. After some conversation, our food arrived and it looked amazing! The Tagliolini with Clams and Spicy Salami along with the Milanese Veal Cutlet with Rocket and Cherry Tomatoes arrived first. Minutes later, the Tonnarelli with Cheeses, Pepper and Bacon arrived. The clams in Mink's dish were very tasty and the pasta had a slight kick to it through its sauce. We both really enjoyed the cutlet and completely finished it. It was huge so that surprised us that we finished the plate. The Cacio e Pepe was very cheesy and rich. It was really good but heavy. The food is delicious here and we can see why they have earned so many good reviews. Good customer service from the entire staff and they work nonstop due to how busy they are with the lunch rush. Another awesome find by Mink.

It's located in a stand alone building about a 10 minute drive from the Duomo. It seemed at least 1/2 if not more of the customers on a Saturday evening were locals rather than tourists. A definite positive in my book. We tried the stuffed octopus, grilled scallops, Captain's Risotto, bavette with shrimp and tomato, grilled monkfish, and grilled prawns with garlic and chili oil. The stuffed octopus was just ok. The grilled scallops were amazing. The bavette pasta dish was perfectly al dente and had a great flavor. The grilled prawns were superb, however there were only 5 prawns for 40 euros which seems rather ambitious . The monkfish was delicious as well. I really enjoyed the chicory salad for 5 euros. My only gripe here were the numerous flys that were buzzing around the table throughout the entire meal. It was of course late July in the middle of the summer, but I really would expect more from the restaurant. Maybe bug lights, fans, misters or something. Really too many flys for a place of this caliber. The service was prompt and attentive. Food: 4.0 - 4.5 stars Service: 4.25 stars Ambiance: 3.5-4.0 stars Would I come back? Yes, but maybe in the winter instead. Pro Tip: a few items in the menu are marked for a minimum of 2 people. I overheard the waiter next to us offering another customer the ability to order any of the items for just 1 person.

Had a wonderful meal with capesante (scallops) appetizer, seafood primo, and a large Rombo (similar to a Halibut but a bit different) with wine and and interesting desert... for sixe people it came to 388 euro, so say 65 euro per person. The location is cool, a stand alone white building at the end of the canal (hence "al porto")
