    Cute!

Peruvian in Hamilton! What! I discovered this place by accident today while walking by to the place next door. The name caught my attention since it's in Italian, plus their giant writing on the wall: Tutti A La tavola mangiare!! Basically say everyone come eat at this table! Or everyone at the table eats in Italian. I made it a point to come back after my original food plan next door which was all pizza and fries. So work out perfectly! Also, I didn't know they were open at the time I walked by. No one was inside. Such a beautiful space too. I assumed they were closed! But they weren't! They had one table when I came back. Ok that's fine by me. They did say it was Peruvian with Italian menu. Didn't see any Italian dishes but I came for ceviche so I was ok with it! Their ceviches were $26 while entrees with rice, plantains and protein was $30 ish. I guess I should have went with the entrees. But I'm just never that hungry! Also debated between grilled beef heart which was a known Peruvian dish vs their beet salad. Our waitress recommended beet salad which I didn't find it any special or interesting or Peruvian. It was fine! They were all friendly and excited about me taking many pics. I guess people aren't food pics crazy here :D Mojito: I was driving so I wanted a mocktail. This is where they lose a star. I got a mojito mocktail but it was charged the same price $12. Should have been $6-$7. Also the ceviche: it was a ok. Fish wasn't my favorite and it was cut way too big to be melt in your mouth. Spice was good though. In the end, I found out why they were empty :) Overpriced and a ok food. Gorgeous space though, friendly people. Just a ok food! Glad I tried it.

Beat salad sorry couldn't wait for pic was too good

We found ourselves in Hamilton and decided to grab a quick brunch somewhere before heading home…read more Some promising reviews of Undefined made the decision very easy. The location is really cool, as the restaurant sits on a street closed off to cars, which meant there's plenty of space for outdoor tables. And a parking lot across the road meant that leaving the car wasn't an issue at all. Anyway, we snagged a nice table outside and placed our orders. But before our mains came, we were presented with a complimentary amuse bouche of two small biscuits with marmalade. They were delicious. Hot and fresh, they didn't have that dense taste that can sometimes plague biscuits. And the jam was terrific, too. For my main, I went with the Chorizo Huevos Ranchero ("House Chorizo | Smashed Avocado | Sunny-Side Eggs | Smoky Black Bean Ranchero | Corn Tortillas"). I've always been a huge huevos rancheros fan and this dish certainly lived up to my expectations. All the components work really well together, and I could tell that it had been assembled with care. There's nothing more annoying than a dish that's clearly been thrown together and phoned in. (I suppose if I had to make an extremely small critical suggestion, the dish could've used some kind of acid to cut through the uniformly heavy components. The whole thing is very rich and I do feel like it could've been improved by some brightness.) All in all, I loved my experience at Undefined. I could definitely see myself driving from Etobicoke just to stop into this joint.

Unfortunately, I haven't tried the food yet. It's just been the drinks. But I love the inside. I…read morefeel like it's very social media friendly. The drinks I have had were really good. I am looking forward to visiting again and trying some of their unique food combos.
