when my darling 12-yr-old car decided it was time to retire, i was referred to nichole as a resource to help me understand my options for getting a new car. this was an unexpected decision i needed to make so i went into it with zero perspective or direction. but from the very beginning, nichole offered a wealth of knowledge about various cars as well as the general auto industry. i am completely unfamiliar with any of it so i had a bunch of questions but she was always available to chat and help me understand how it all worked. i really wanted a tahoe but it was way out of budget. so then i started exploring all sorts of other things from camrys to volvos to subarus to jeeps. then one day on a whim, i decided to test drive an audi q5. pointless, really, as i knew there was no way i could afford it. but of course, i fell in love instantly -- primarily because the seats were the most comfortable and the gas pedal best fit the way i drive. and then of course because it's safe, gorgeous, & mountain-ready. so i sent nichole my budget and my preferences on all the cars i was interested in, with the q5 as my top choice. i knew it was a long shot but submitted it anyway.....just in case. she emailed her network of 200+ dealers with my wishlist and responses started coming in with their availability. the initial ones on the audi were coming in over budget so i figured it wasn't gonna happen and i was deciding between jeep and subaru. then a few hours later, she texted me excitedly saying a dealership in riverside had my exact build! my build was hard to find because i didn't want all the crazy bells and whistles. i just wanted the base model with just a couple little things -- coming from a 2006 literally everything that i thought was fancy has now become standard haha. but most of what was available was like mega fancy aka $$$. so when this one came through i jumped on it!
