This business is awesome!! What a great way to make that something special and unique for any occasion! I placed an order on line... talked through chat with a representative... up loaded what I wanted it to look like and I was under way. They sent me back a proof just a day later... I approved it and paid (all on line)... and in just a couple of days I was picking up my special surprise for my wife's and my 10 year anniversary. They were friendly, did the work exactly to my specifications and were quick! I will definitely remember this and us them again! read more

Personal Wine - They did exactly what I asked them to do! Fantastic job! - Wineries Near Me - Austin, Texas

If I could give them 10 stars I would! I never write reviews but my experience with them could not go unnoticed. First of all the engraving is beyond gorgeous. Better than expected and was a perfect gift. I had a bit of a delivery issue and called them. I paid for 2 day Delivery. Phil was on it! Took care of it right away and I received my bottle the next day. For my inconvenience he refunded the express shipping cost. I definitely recommend Personal Wine and if I ever find the need to personalize a bottle again, I'm going straight to them. read more

What a spectacular custom wine gift ! I could not be more pleased with this. From the presentation to the perfectly on time delivery, I am so happy. I can not wait to present this to my client for the grand opening of his event space. Not only was the bottle engraved, but so was the wood box it came in. If I could give you 10 stars I would. Thank you so much! read more

I got my delivery today, and wow! My order was processed and delivered so quickly! Top tier customer service with Ben who helped in getting my logo just right, and made sure I got my bottle in plenty of time for a wedding gift. The engraved bottle of Dom Perignon is just beautiful! I would definitely refer this company and will be back to place another order for sure! Thanks a million Cheers! read more

What a great company to deal with!! I send the artwork and received a call from them asking if I had better resolution artwork. (A call!!) I did not. They reworked what I sent and made it look amazing! Absolutely fantastic service! read more

I've ordered 3 bottles of wine and glasses from them online with etching. Their wine selection is really good, and the staff is extremely helpful. The recipients of the personalized wine and glasses absolutely loved them and admired the professionalism and wondered how it was done or where I got it! They work fast and quality of work is high end. I wouldn't say you get what you pay for - I think that you get more than what you pay for in terms of wine, personalized product and customer service. They work to your needs and are very flexible and very willing to do what they can to get your orders the way you want them. Highly recommended and will be ordering from them in the near future! read more

I am not an avid wine drinker like many I know, but I am an avid person who appreciates unique products and great customer service. I previously learned about Personal Wine at a local charity event where they had custom engraved wine bottles as gifts to help raise money for the charity; knowing this, it planted a seed in my mind to give them a try. Recently, while in a crush of thoughts and ideas to get a gift I remembered Personal Wine. Committing to using them for my inspired gift needs, I decided that I wanted a custom label printed on two nice bottles of wine. So, I went to the website.... and it seems that since the website was far too simple for me to understand [self-deprecating humor and honesty so you can laugh]... then I simply called them so I could speak about options. In a short timely manner I spoke with their customer service and I was placed in contact with Michael and his customer service focus was a great relief and helped me sort out my thoughts for the logo, design, capabilities they have and much much more. In the end and in the perfect storm of timing, I was able to get them what they needed and they were able to get me a perfect product by days end. It's not everyday that they can process things in a timely manner so fast, but the staff and team helped me out greatly. Michael even personally cut out the unique shape of the label like a skilled surgeon to meet my needs. (it was unique per my request) I ended up getting 2 custom labeled bottles of wine and a pine box to present them in. It surely will be a unique gift that will not be expected. If you are looking for a great gift that displays your personal style, I would try Personal Wine as they can pretty much match your wants and needs for gifts. Remember they are local, but they do deliver around the United States (read the website for details). Additionally, I learned that they are also available for "venue" opportunities if you would like to have a private event, wine tasting, meeting space, etc. so just contact them for details. The space is really classic, comforting, and reminiscent of old school "speak easy" lounges with the great oak tables and comfortable leather seating. Personal wine deserves the 5-Star rating for helping me meet all my gift needs when I needed it most. read more

Personal Wine - Personalized bottle of wine for my maid of honor! - Wineries Near Me - Austin, Texas

I placed an order for a custom labeled wine in late November. There was an error with the shipping address, which Personal Wine had been made aware of. But I had to reach out to inquire about the status of the shipment. Once I did, she made sure to tell me that I had made a mistake and that they would charge me $19 to reship the package. I assure you, the address I shipped to is correct. Verified by the client and his business website. Just all around poor customer service. Blame your customer, over-charge your customer, and then dismiss them when you don't want to deal with the issue any longer. I will never use this company for client gifts again. read more

5 stars for company / 0 stars for FedEx. First the product is beautiful. I was on a tight schedule and Personal wine produced the engraved bottle very quickly. FedEx, however, sent me 12 consecutive delay emails. The original delivery was for Thursday and after a dozen delays finally arrived late Monday evening. Not sure why any company still uses FedEx. If you look up their reviews 81% 1 star. Unfortunate, because Personal wine did a great job, communicated well. read more

I ordered from Personal wine 1/31/2022. I not only spent over 2,000 worth of wine for a party but requested overnight shipping. I received the items on 2/7/2022 AFTER I needed the wine and liquor for a party and got them personalized. They advised me on Thursday the 3rd which is when the shipment should have been here that they had gotten an email on Monday that fed-ex was having issues with deliveries. If the company would have let me know on Monday that fed ex was having issues with deliveries I would have cancelled the order and went elsewhere to spend the money. Now, you ask what the company did.. they refunded me the money for shipping.. That was ALL! I had to then go and get another 2,000 worth of liquor for a party on Saturday. This is the email that was sent to me " * please note that "Standard" shipments are not guaranteed but Priority and Expedited shipments are. If you need to upgrade this shipment please respond to this email ASAP" Again I did OVERNIGHT SHIPPING. read more

Recently purchased a "engraved" bottle of gin from this company. When it arrived it simply looked as though they printed my message on the bottle. There explanation was that they can only engrave 1mm and then hand paint it.. well, if you know how deep 1mm is it will always look and feel as though it is printed on only.. Stay away from these guys because the so called "engraving" is literally undetectable. read more

I stumbled across Personal Wine by chance when I was searching for a magnum bottle of Whispering Angel online. I had no idea I could personalize a bottle of wine online. I ordered the magnum with a customized label and the process was very smooth and easy! I never got a shipping confirmation email so I reached out to them and got a response pretty quickly. The package did arrive the morning after they guaranteed it would, so I would recommend giving yourself a few days as a buffer so you aren't in a pickle. The label looked amazing and the bottle was packaged in styrofoam so it was protected during shipping. read more

Downstairs in the basement is a swanky low key wine bar. Not one of those scenes where people are there to be seen and you have to talk loudly to the person sitting next to you. This is a place where wine lovers go for a glass or two and relax and have some conversation. They have a nice variety of bottles and truly believe a wine expert could find a few that they love. The seating consists of over sized leather chairs and many leather sofas. They have a bar area and one really long table perfect for large parties or tastings. This place has cement floors and walls lined with bottles. No one expects you to arrive in a suit or anything stuff like that. This is a come as you are sort of place. The only prerequisite is that you like wine and are of legal drinking age. Oh one more thing you won't find this place over run by the 6th street crowd, this place is much more relaxed then that. read more

What an incredible company--their customer service is top notch! I work for a software company and head up our advocacy efforts and events. We have sent out a lot of corporate gifts over the years, as well as thank you notes, but the customized bottles of bubbly wine we sent through Personal Wine have been far and away the most popular gifts we've sent. Ordering was a breeze. Ben Myers was a total gem and walked me through all of our options. We had a huge list of addresses we had to send to, and our order arrived well before the anticipated date. The labels looked beautiful and our customers took to social media to proudly show off their custom bottles of wine. I honestly couldn't be more please with both the final product and the customer service I received. They are an awesomely rocking company and I would absolutely recommend them to any and every person who's looking for a unique, personalized gift for friends, family, and corporate contacts. Thanks so much Personal Wine! read more

Awesome, awesome, awesome! Got a few Pinot Grigio bottles personalized for one of my fav former co-workers for her birthday, and I was really impressed with the end of result. She LOVED it, and I seriously couldn't be more happy from the pictures she sent me after receiving the gift. The only criticism I have is that the templates don't necessarily align with the corresponding event--I picked a label for her birthday that was actually under 'Valentine's Day'--but it was easily remedied by a few font changes and so forth. There were a few templates that were perhaps misplaced or mislabeled, but that aside, the final product was an absolute gem. I definitely recommend this company for anyone looking for a thoughtful gift that resonates with fellow wine lovers! read more

Personal Wine - My friend gets the giggles after a few glasses of Pinot Grigio, so she came up with a name (Pinot Giglio) as an inside joke, and voila! - Wineries Near Me - Austin, Texas

I ordered some custom inscribed wine glasses and was disappointed. The etching was so faint I could barely see it. The font and logos were also very small and badly proportioned. Dealing with Franco at customer service was like speaking with a 5 year old, he didn't listen and just kept repeating what he was trained to say, constantly talking over me and in denial. I didn't feel that the quality or design was worth the cost. The best part was after I told franco the product did not measure up to what was promised he did offer me a discount on future orders ? Again, obviously he wasn't listen. Why would I order more if the product was less than desirable. Denial is a river in Egypt, its a protocol at Personal Wine. read more

If I could rate this site at a -10 I would. We ordered labels for wine we are making for our good friends with a picture of theirs dogs on it and personalized the label since one of the dogs had recently passed. When I contacted Personal Wine, after trying to explain to Becka that I had gone in and reviewed the label with my friend sitting next to me .Becka after telling my that she was going to provide me the new set for free insisted on walking me through how to navigate the website insisting that I provide her proof that I had reviewed my order and spoke to me like a child. Buyer BEWARE! I placed an order over 3 weeks ago and never heard anything from the company. I checked back on the site each week and the order status was always "in production." I never received any email or text confirmations of my order status (I had to keep going back to their site to check). When I called the phone number a few times I got a "homestyle" answering machine. I finally tried their chat feature and got a customer service person who was unable to provide any clear answers and was pretty nonchalant about "service." My bad - if you think a deal is too good to be true, it probably is... Now Chatting Hi - Can you let me know the status f my order? Its been 16 business days and 3 weeks since I place my order! personalwine: please hold... personalwine: 2 sommelier 12 packs of red wine? Yes. personalwine: Sorry for the delay on that, I'm 99% sure it is shipping out today personalwine: I will double check with my production team in 30 minutes Please email me a status and shipping information or provide a refund. That is a ridiculous amount of time to fulfill an order. personalwine: The shipping information won't be available until later today when we print the waybill via UPS. personalwine: The status is wrapped, packed, boxed up and ready to go personalwine: hello? Are you looking for a response to that? Wow... That is not very helpful. I'm pretty disappointed. personalwine: What other information can I provide you with? I'm sure its not your fault but that does not help me. Your site says 3-7 days for production to complete which is vague and deceiving. You don't seem to be in a position to provide a refund and you've told me what already know....'in production.' personalwine: We can provide you a refund, or we can ship you your wine today. personalwine: Which would you prefer? Refund. personalwine: OK. Sorry for the miscommunication. When will I be receiving the refund? personalwine: 1-3 days. Wow. I'll be sure to note that on Yelp, Fb, and Twitter when I share my experience. :-( Pretty bad stuff. I'm a small business person and I can manage getting a client a refund in less than 15 minutes on my phone! It does not seem like your business is ready for customers. I guess I will check back in a few days since no one on your end bothered to contact me about delays or even a status of the order. personalwine: Elizabeth, my accountant is refunding you right now. Sometimes these transactions go through immediately, other times it takes longer. personalwine: Is this the first time that you have tried to contact us about your order? personalwine: :brokenheart: No. I've called your number 3 times in the last two weeks and got an answering machine. Besides, why must I have to hunt down my order? I have no idea wheat you mean by ":brokenheart?" Its too bad this is a joke to you. personalwine: I'm not trying to joke, I'm trying to understand exactly what has happened. personalwine: I'm sorry for any miscommunication there. personalwine: I am not saying it is your job to hunt down your order. But did you leave any voicemail message for us? personalwine: Occasionally, there are problems and/or errors with orders. If we are never notified of an issue then it is hard for us to fix it. So...if you have something sitting "in production" for three weeks you do nothing until the customer becomes irate and has to take time out of the work day to track someone down? personalwine: I realize you are upset. But, if you don't leave a voicemail, how are we supposed to know? read more

Omg! What a super excited and satisfied customer I am!! My experience with the site was awesome and very easy to maneuver through. Oh my god where do I start?! I am in St Louis, Mo. I was digging around on the internet looking for the perfect 21st birthday present for my wine loving best friend when I came across their website. It was love at first sight. The process of designing the bottles was easy, and the finished product was beautiful. I was worried I was going to get a bottle with basically a sticker on it but that was SO FAR from the case. The bottle is gorgeous and the label is so fancy and elegant and professional it looks like I spent far more than I actually did on this present. I will be using their services again for sure. read more

My fiance and I live in NY and were looking for miniature wine bottles as part of our wedding favors. The idea was a last minute adjustment and we were only 3 weeks away from the wedding date. Personal Wine was amazing to us! I used the chat option and spoke to a very knowledgeable and personable assistant who answered all my questions and concerns. The templates available for the labels are very sharp looking, very user friendly, and the print came out looking very clear and professional. We received the order (120 bottles!) with the custom labels only 1 week after the order was placed (and that's TX to NY!!) I couldn't be more pleased with our experience- the quality of service and product were absolutely amazing. The wine itself is good in our option. The wine (Chardonnay & Cabernet Sauvignon) are a wonderful balance of being a easy drinking, people- pleaser with a touch of complexity to interest the more advanced wine taster. I will absolutely recommend this company to my family and friends!!! read more

Absolutely amazing service. I placed an order and the labels printed in a different color than I originally intended. It was technically my fault, since the format of the graphic I used screwed things up, but they were so beyond amazing. They re-printed the labels at NO extra cost (and again, this was my fault, not theirs), and had extremely quick turnaround. Highly highly highly recommended. We'll be using them again. read more

I ordered two customized bottles of champagne yesterday (10/27).
