I liked this place a lot! Big event space with a lot of surprisingly comfy seating. Didn't love…read morehaving to go to the somewhat short staffed bar and get in line to order drinks each time without being able to open a tab. It's beer and wine only, so if you prefer liquor it's not the spot for you. The wine was ok. Not a high dollar selection. They had 3 different juices for mimosas which was fun. You have to walk next door to get food. The mimosas were the only thing that qualified as brunch at the "Drag Brunch" but I wasn't too upset about the misnomer. Just don't go hungry and looking forward to pancakes. Super fun show though. Definitely go to one if you're celebrating something. They make it especially fun for those groups.

Loved that they brought up several people from the audience to the stage to compete for a small prize. Many of the participants were brides at their bachelorette party celebrations. #love The ticket included one drink but not brunch food. I got there a bit earlier to grab us some good seats. Biggest issues were they started later than we thought so one of the people in our group had to leave before it was over, there was an epic food truck incident (this was supposed to be a Brunch event) with food running an hour late did not really have brunchy items, and they didn't clearly label on their menu that the cocktails were wine based vs. the traditional alcohol of tequila, gin, etc. The cocktails were fine but if I'd known/recalled/seen a disclaimer I would have been a bit more wary as I have reactions to certain wines and sugars. Thankfully, I had no major reaction but my digestion was a bit off for a bit.

You know it's a good sign when most of the people who work the tasting room do it because they love…read morethe wine. All the wines are made from 100% Texas grown grapes by a Texas native, Randy Hester (from Houston maybe?), who started as an intern at Cakebread Cellars in Napa. You can order by the glass or opt for a tasting. They do a great job catering to your palette and will customize the tasting most of the time. If you're driving to Fredericksburg or Georgetown for your wine membership pick ups, I highly recommend going in for a tasting here. I'd be surprised if you didn't decide to switch. They also have great member events pretty regularly. The atmosphere inside is very relaxed. It's like a little cool oasis (especially during the summer). Really, besides the wine, which speaks for itself, the staff make this place. They're knowledgeable and they all are pretty passionate about the wine. Parking is easy most days and the Yard offers some options for food that you can have brought in to you (or you can grab and bring in) or order a cheese board with your wine. Overall, 10/10 would recommend!

All Texas grapes, all vegan wine. Sounds like meh Fredericksburg, right?…read more Wrong! Butaud's winemakers bring something more to the game. I have yet to be disappointed in a vintage. Their unassuming location is in The Yard off St Elmo, across from Vacancy Brewery. They managed to turn a warehouse space into an intimate and polished tasting room. Go grab a flight and let the staff tell you the history of each pour. Maybe grab a cheese board next door from Muy Yum! while you're there.

I've been wanting to check this place out for sometime, so I read through the 50+ reviews and I'll…read moresummarize what some yelpers have already said. This place is owned by a husband and wife team, they do some demos on Thursdays, offer a rewards program and they have a great selection. They also have three locations, the largest being on N. Pleasant Valley Rd. I thought I would add some additional specifics and photos that add to the insight of this place. This place is in an old cinderblock building that is accessible from just one side of Airport Boulevard. From the outside, it looks like an old decaying convenience store complete with burglar bars and an ice machine outside. There's less than 10 spots to park at in their potholed small lot. Once inside, it's a whole new world. There are things here that you don't normally find anywhere else and they're not shy about spending big money on their inventory in the way of upscale wines and liquors. They make great use of the 1200 ft.² interior through great merchandising and selection. It's small, but it's packed to the ceiling with a very diverse offering. The wine selection is smaller than the liquor selection, but you will find wines from Serbia, Austria and Europe. They have Japanese whiskeys, soju, Dom Perignon, single malts, mixers and a handful of sherrys and ports. There's also a display case filled with bar instruments and accessories. Behind the checkout, you'll see one of the best selection of bitters that you'll ever see and they do offer single shot bottles. They have a good selection of cold wine, some seltzers, and even a decent yet small selection of local craft beer. Prices here are just slightly above the big box retailers, but they are not overpriced and everything is priced on top of the bottle. I did purchase two bottles of European wine and a bottle of Aperol. Unfortunately, when I opened one of the wines it was undergoing a secondary fermentation and some of the vintages weren't exactly current, so in future I'll stick with their liquor offerings. The photos and videos should be enough to get you through the door.

This is where you go to find more unique bottles, get gift ideas, get recommendations from the helpful staff when you're uncertain, and stock up on some of the usual staples. They were literally the ONLY store in the city carry a specific martini kit I was looking for, and were able to point me directly to it right away. They know their stuff, and their stock.
