I would just like to say the loyalty and respect I once had for State Farm is gone. my uncle signed our whole family and friends up30 plus years ago back in Delaware. I moved to Florida as it is something I have always wanted to do and where I would like to spend my last years. Being an ex business owner and understanding some of the ins and outs of Insurance pricing going up and down has always been something for red flags for me. I bought a new car has all the safety features you could want and more which I thought would be great for my policy. WRONG I could not believe they went up 80.00 more and could only say because of my credit. I have only ever had one speeding ticket back in 2010-2011 paid it took defense driving course for Florida and Delaware at that time. No DUIsAnd very cautious as my line of work deals with children. I don't see what my credit has to do with me driving or my policy. Just another way for these agents to get a bigger wallet. At age 63 and learning still that loyalty and longevity of a customer and never having an accident or claim should speak something...But I will never recommend to any of my business relationships or personal. I know my uncle is probably turning flips in his grave. Donna B 30 yr customer of State Farm read more

Initially, We thought they were through and explained what we needed. This year, our circumstances changed. We called, spoke to a representative and talking to him was like pulling teeth. Extracting info from him was laborious to the point of infuriating. We told the agent we were going to drop State Farm, he didn't care; said nothing. Called the office, tried to get another agent before cancelling, she never called back. Called a third time and explained our frustration. They just don't care. Even after telling them we were shopping around and would be dropping them, they didn't try to keep me as a client. Looks like they don't need business. Glad to find out they do not value customers before having to depend on them. You've been warned! read more

Bought an auto policy from the Unwalla agency as they beat my previous carrier by 25% for equivalent coverage. Easy, fast and very professional. I look forward to getting a quote from them on my homeowners policy when it becomes due. read more

I was a customer at Perry Unwalla State Farm Insurance for over 10 years. The customer service I received was terrible. I was given the run around for weeks until I finally filed a complaint with the Florida Department of Financial Services, Division of Consumer Services. Only after the State reviewed my complaint and documents did I receive the payment I was rightfully owed from Perry Unwalla State Farm. read more

Perry and his team have always been attentive, kind, and fair. As Agents, these guys don't make the rates, all they can do is try their best to add value and provide service to make us as customers justify the rates set by the bigger company. Perry and Aretha have always made me feel like family and for that reason alone, they have a client for life! read more

My family and I recently moved to St. Augustine from Nashville and as stressful as that can be already, the last thing you want to add to your plate is hassling with insurance. I walked in the office to switch our cars from TN to FL and sat with a guy named Layton. He was extremely friendly and professional. He had my quote done and policy transferred in like 15 minutes. I definitely felt like I was among friends. It is such a relief to walk away feeling like that when you're in a new city. I can honestly say I feel like this office has my back. And if you go in there, tell Layton I said Hi! read more

This is a shoutout and rating for a specific Allstate employee Jessica Duncan. Several years ago my wife was involved in a very serious accident requiring serious medical care and procedures. As the accident was not her fault, (the other driver was charged) we have had to pursue legal action against the other party. We needed some important policy information ASAP for this, so I reached out to Jessica Duncan. Jessica was so nice and personable and did not delay getting us that info, even for a day. Within hours, she got us the info we needed, a truly great job by a true professional! Thank you Jessica! read more

As a NJ transplant, I hated giving up the auto insurance that I had for 40 plus years. However, after conferring with Jessica Duncan, she explained the nuances between the two states auto insurances and was able to recommend options that saved me money without sacrificing the options I wanted. Very personable! read more

Had my auto an home insurance, they dropped my auto due to no fault accidents, than told me they would no longer allow me to have my home insurance with them and had to go with another company they know would not insure me. The agents inside are not very nice and would never return any of my calls especially when I asked to talk to Perry. About to close my checking account with them. read more
