I would just like to say the loyalty and respect I once had for State Farm is gone. my uncle signed our whole family and friends up30 plus years ago back in Delaware. I moved to Florida as it is something I have always wanted to do and where I would like to spend my last years. Being an ex business owner and understanding some of the ins and outs of Insurance pricing going up and down has always been something for red flags for me. I bought a new car has all the safety features you could want and more which I thought would be great for my policy. WRONG I could not believe they went up 80.00 more and could only say because of my credit. I have only ever had one speeding ticket back in 2010-2011 paid it took defense driving course for Florida and Delaware at that time. No DUIsAnd very cautious as my line of work deals with children. I don't see what my credit has to do with me driving or my policy. Just another way for these agents to get a bigger wallet. At age 63 and learning still that loyalty and longevity of a customer and never having an accident or claim should speak something...But I will never recommend to any of my business relationships or personal. Initially, We thought they were through and explained what we needed. This year, our circumstances changed. We called, spoke to a representative and talking to him was like pulling teeth. Extracting info from him was laborious to the point of infuriating. We told the agent we were going to drop State Farm, he didn't care; said nothing. Called the office, tried to get another agent before cancelling, she never called back. Called a third time and explained our frustration. They just don't care. Even after telling them we were shopping around and would be dropping them, they didn't try to keep me as a client. Looks like they don't need business. Had my auto an home insurance, they dropped my auto due to no fault accidents, than told me they would no longer allow me to have my home insurance with them and had to go with another company they know would not insure me.
